      Same here man. Never heard of Gad in my entire life. Now after this, if I see him billed at a club that night, I'll go out of my way to grab a seat. Hope they have him in more

    You're doing great Gad ! I gotta admit, I'm French, and I know how famous he is around here. he's just finished a tour in France that was a success. And it's nice to see him want to start over, and recraft his own art when he could just enjoy fame and money here in France. You're challenging yourself and we should all do that.

    I like this guy Gad, deadpan delivery and seems like he gets the nature of the show. I looked him up and he's definitely pretty big in France. Reminds me vaguely of like a a French standup comedian version of Coming to America with Eddie Murphy haha. Good stuff thank you

      They're kind of a brand new show that is based off of an old show. The split with this guy Opie because he tried to pull some weird shit with his contract and it backfired on him so now he got moved to afternoons. If you type in Opieradio and check out his older videos like 3+ months old you'll see Jim Norton there. If you've ever heard of Opie & Anthony where Patrice Oneal, Louis CK, and Bill Burr were regular cohosts before they really blew up... this is basically a 3rd generation off-shoot of Opie & Anthony. It's a long fucking story to be honest, lol.

    Gad keeps saying he's single now. That surprised me considering i thought he was happily married.. now that i know he s divorced, i understand better why he neded a new start and to move abroad. He s a star not only in Frence and MOrrocco but all francophonic countries, specially north Africa.

  • @Anfubvinch
    @Anfubvinch 7 лет назад +1

    This is so fucking weird... Two of my favorite comedians meeting each other. Never thought I'd see the day. And if you think Gad is funny now, you should have seen him 12 years ago. Absolutely legendary. Also i have to say I am annoyed at some of the Moroccans commenting here... Stop trying to re-appropriate him and his fucking life to suit your misplaced patriotism. Can't you just be happy for the guy??!

    Why did Trevor Noah come out your mouth? I don't belive his show is hurting for ratings. I only clicked because Mr. Elmaheh is on your show. Bruh! Lame! It find it interesting people putting others down with out doing a bit of a background check.

  • @wildthrive3268
    @wildthrive3268 7 лет назад +6

    I just don't get it. Very talented guy but he's a Moroccan born and raised Jew. Why do they say he's French and he acts like he's French. He is not French at all. He is Moroccan 100%

    • @araag.4257
      @araag.4257 7 лет назад +6

      'Cause he lived most of his life in France, still, he doesn't denie his origins and goes back regularly to Morroco, like he said, he's French Morrocan.

    • @ridethelightning9
      @ridethelightning9 7 лет назад +1

      Araa G. No he absolutely did not. As a matter of fact he never grew up anywhere other than casablanca Morocco and speaks fluent Moroccan. Gad started he's career in Morocco and took it to France just like he took his career from France to the US now. Gad is certainly a neutralized French citizen but he did not grow up in France at all. He moved there as an adult

    • @araag.4257
      @araag.4257 7 лет назад +4

      He moved there as a young adult yes, and like I said, he lived most of his life there in France, his adult life, or you could say between France and Morocco and had two serious relationships there, so I can understand that he feels French as well as Moroccan, I don't see the problem?

    • @ridethelightning9
      @ridethelightning9 7 лет назад

      Araa G. I moved to the United States at 18 years of age. I'm a US citizen but I'm a Moroccan even though I'm fluent in French. He's at the cellar and I couldn't get a reservation so far to see but I've been watching hon and he's been saying that mainly he is French. He's not. He is mainly Moroccan and he's as French as I'm American but I can understand that it sells better to be French than Moroccan here but trust me if he gets big in the states, that info will fire back. He should say I'm a Moroccan jew and I lived most my adult life in France. It just seems insecure the way it's going because France in its entirety know that he is 100 % Jewish Moroccan.

    • @ridethelightning9
      @ridethelightning9 7 лет назад

      Araa G. For your info the last name Elmaleh means the salty in Moroccan. That's just how much Moroccan he is

  • @alfredocornelio4329
    @alfredocornelio4329 7 лет назад +2

    Is not that Noah is cringy and pisses off cause of an accent, It's cause of the biased hard left leaning jokes everytime. Daily Show and many comedians stopped going for both sides equally a long time ago.

    • @IamHueGraves
      @IamHueGraves 7 лет назад +1

      I don't even think it's that, I think he just legitimately lacks comedic skill. Like how the same joke can be told to different effect by different people.

    • @FungusMossGnosis
      @FungusMossGnosis 7 лет назад

      Hard left!?? Haha, the daily show has been conventional, centrist, ball-licking servants of the elite for years. Nothing leftist about them.
