Yeah considering the entire run is around 24 hours. I’m guessing he’s just watched a top 20 funniest clips from Peep Show video. Which are not as remotely funny when taken out of the context of the show, and you haven’t seen much of the character development.
"someone with social anxiety could never watch this show" - actually I think we're the target audience, it's just we're not American so we laugh at ourselves.
If anything social anxiety enhances the show. What could be more relatable?? Also suck it to the Brits who think Americans can't laugh at themselves or have low self esteem. We hate ourselves too our culture just tells us to pretend like we don't lol.
I can't believe Americans don't generally watch British comedy, as an Australian I probably watch more British comedy than American comedy shows, apart from actually broadcasting a lot of British comedy here in Australia, it's also probably because it is funnier on average than American shows! I mean come on, Two and a Half Men is pretty shit. Although Always Sunny in Philadelphia is hilarious!!
Your taste in television is beyond reproach. And to throw some love back to your homeland, I have to say that I think Australia has made some of the most suspenseful thriller/horrors that I've ever seen. I don't know how or why. Just seem to know what you're doing:)
We're able to laugh at ourselves and the situations we get into, we also are very direct with our insults to one another. American's are much more sensitive and require much more obvious jokes thrown at them than subtle ones.
@@nikkistephens4990 Well there is a reason why American's don't usually understand or get british humour, the reason is as I stated. Your humour is way more simplified and direct. USA needs the laughter after a joke to confirm it was funny. British humour is way more subtle, awkward, direct and offensive.
Ok so... As a American it's hard to understand the English humor. Plus the bleeping out of the swear words hurts me from understanding the humorous points. TY you for the video. Loved it but confused. Guess I gotta look up the episodes to understand more. TY and keep it up. Peace
You've gotta watch it for yourself. It's only censored in this video, not the actual show. This show isn't for everyone tho, keep in mind. Def aimed at 20s-30s age group and is gonna be a little out there if you haven't watched much british comedy.

I think he understands it but also doesn’t understand it. He’s trying to relate to the situations with too much empathy. This was pointless. You watched hardly any of it, you just seem to highlight it’s shot in first person and didn’t give any idea of the baseline of their relationship. Standard American, not a clue.
