Now the engine, yes the engine we can look at this a few different ways as most racers will replace the motor with a more race type program there anyway but it will still cost more to due so on a rovan simply because the parts associated with an engine swap like the clutch and pipe are better on the losi and not really needed to be replaced. What about hpi baja? Its better rovan baja its just a exclusive body but its now worth to buy something in 1500 dls than a rovan baja on 600 box you Can actually lie
@@l4ncer2005 I'd still go with the hpi over rovan simply on principle and also due to the fact the quality is far better with hpi then rovan. Not to mention hpi is the god father of the class
Your missing the fact that he said he raced all season like that and it was fine, you don't HAVE TO upgrade anything(or very little)and everyone against clones acts like your not going to spend money on the losi, you absolutely will. And the solution to really put this to bed is buy a 30 deg north truck, many have made fact based arguments that they are even better than a losi and still 40-50% cheaper. They've made multiple improvements on the design!
@@romper4444 no you actually missed the point entirely and missed his message of the vid. In the vid he admitted to having to replace the motor a bunch of parts and what not to race. Losi and hpi are still and always will be the go to until I can afford a MCD
Hell noooo losi way better quality
Yes. But Rovan is better value.
For someone desperate to get 5ive it's good option. I don't care for some issues that can be worked on or improved with few upgrades.
Thanks to Rovan its possible for me to own 5ive platform. With łosi it wasn't possible. And probably thousands of people were is situation like me.
Rovan deserves all the crap it gets though for those engines.
Rovan is just a copying semi crap quality brand good starting point if you want gas
Proof? I have both and the difference is negligible. 😂
@@jaybomb5022 quality of plastics, drivetrain, engines are full crap on rovan Zenoah is million times better, suspension. Losi is just much better seen both friend owns 2 rovans and i own a 5ive both agree 5ives are much better also the creator of 1:5 scale 😁
@@ygtx44 I'm an owner not just a speculator.
Those differences don't matter to someone unless you are constantly racing or bashing.
90% of owners aren't racing, making the losi much less worth it.
As he mentioned he beats losis with it, a million times better is beyond exaggerant and my 34cc stock KM beats the pricey 30.5cc zenoah all freaking day.
@@ygtx44 Again, I own my own not looking at my friend who may be biased lol. I work on my Losi just as much as my darn Rovan.
@@jaybomb5022 relaibility of rovan engines are welll known to be crap bud aint no one biased zenoah all day
$1000?????? I dont know about that
Are you saying what I paid for the Rovan? If you are I paid $1080CAD on Ali express.
Yup 1000Euro for Rovan lt450 and around 350 for ready to install że oah g320.
Łosi 5ive 1600euro.
But you get many alu parts with Rovan and you can spread that price in time.
Drive with stock crap engine for 6-12months then get zenoah. That's what I did.
And its also not like losi doesn't need upgrades. It's comes with plastic braces on chassis,.crappy servos and useless box exhaust.
So add like 400Euro for just those.
Anyway it's pointless to argue about which one is better.. obviously losi is better. But 99% can't afford it and even Rovan Lt is still very expensive for toy.
That needs to be constantly reminded to spoiled millionaire brats talking about łosi superiority, so they don't forget most people aren't freaking millionaires 😂
