- It's looking like the Golden Bear replacement has been delayed until 2026! There hasn't been movement in many months. But, meanwhile, some smaller projects have been completed around the park.

Apocalypse will always be the Terminator to me...
GIGA PLEASEEE!! I BEG OF YOU SIX FLAGS!!!😭 🙏
They made my take my glasses off... They're regular clear prescription glasses. The picture on the pass has me wearing glasses 😂😂😂
That's asinine! What the heck? I wonder if it was the same employee. I had a middle-aged man who might be on the spectrum.
@AmericasCoasterNetwork I think he was just having some fun. I mean it sure made me chuckle
Oh. Yeah this guy was serious. I didn't understand him the first time and just responded "yeah, have a good one" and started to walk in. Firmly, he's like "remove your hat."
Yes, Goliath is about to be painted....Albright Painting accidentally spilled the beans in a client marketing email 🤭
Lots of new paint is coming all around the park 😊
Nice!!!!! I need something interesting to cover. Perhaps this is why Goliath is closed?
I was wondering if Knott’s was going to be the only one of the two SoCal Six Flags/Cedar Fair parks to suffer from the merger.
At the very least, 2026 will make for a very good year for California coaster enthusiasts.
I still think that they are going to put up a new record-breaking coaster that is the first of its kind, along with several new flat rides.
Sorry guys its not going to be a giga. Its anoter launch coaster...
A Giga would not fit in that space anyway.
If this was a GIGA it would need to wrap around the magic mountain mountain MORE BIGGER area which would be tough
Seems the budget is going towards making it fit Cedar Fair standards, and possibly to not compete with Cedar Points new coaster for 2025
It would if they also remove Superman.@@JohnnyRobertsJr-d7y
THIS MYSTERY PROJEct is most intriguing still have no IDEA what it is but LOOKS like a pretty massive project not GIGA SPAce worthy but a decent sized project
2 tracks delivered to fire road on fast and furious. Done for the night. But will be installed tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up! Bummer that I'll be working tomorrow evening and won't be able to be there. Tempted to check in on Friday, but there's the World Series.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork of the 8 pieces that were supposed to be delivered last week. 2 showed today. But the entry and exit catwalks to new show building are up as well.
I heardnthey failed their compaction/grading inspection, so no new coaster as the ground it too unstable
That's unfortunate! I hope they are able to figure something out. And you'd think that would be something done BEFORE ripping the theater out.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork i.just.looked it up, it actually didnt even pass plam check
😔😮
What?? No new coaster at all?
Building and grading permits are denied all the time. The park will have to make adjustments to the project until it passes.
Will there be a fast and furious update tomorrow?
Unfortunately, there won't be. I planned on going today, but just don't have the energy/motivation with other stuff going on in my life. Tomorrow, I'll be at Knott's for a vlog posting Thursday. Was thinking about Universal on Friday evening. But then remembered that there's the World Series. So, will probably be delayed until next week. Sigh.
I think this project will resume after horror nights, but I could be wrong
You mean Fright Fest?
The Park Map is great!
Good they should take their time on the project
I'm curious if this is because of the merger or they now changed to another or bigger concept design...hmmm
SIX FLAG NEEDS A GIGA-COASTER...
Absolutely!
@AmericasCoasterNetwork Hear me out... I can already hear the grumbling.
Retract Superman to have 4 skinny coasters. Use the existing launch system and then a second push on the way down to go up and over the hill. Remove Apocalypse (or build around it) for speed turn. A third launch up and over the rapids. Now for the grumbles... retire Viper and build one bad ass ride. 129mph+. 2.5-4 of track miles. Push 600ft or higher.
@@roycecharlton4924 interesting theories on how to build a GIGA there. I don’t see them removing apocalypse maybe viper or Goliath for the space
@@andrewmavaddat6433 Viper has run its course. Goliath has a few years left.
@@roycecharlton4924 tho i love vipers layout the ride has gotten extremely brutal over the years and that space could use a brand new coaster thats a very good point. and goliath is still a very fun coaster
Chris,Your So Guyish Lol
Guyish?
2:57 Which one are you in the Twisted Colossus pic? (Which train and which shirt color?)
Hard to see in this. Left side. Blue shirt grey pants.
Viper needs to go and a record breaking new Vekoma put in its place! We need one of those Super Boomerangs!
Yes to replacing the comfort collars on WCR with lap bars/seatbelts! I think the coaster needs to go faster and speed up the “pit stop” section. It would be wayyyy better with these improvements!
I also want more concession booths throughout the park! Six Flags I hope you’re listening. More flat rides and a third water attraction. Honestly, if I was a billionaire I would make this park stellar!! The devil’s in the details all around the park. There would be awesome theming, landscaping and cleanliness…
I never wanna see Viper removed and replaced. Unless it's for a giga.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork I’m not a fan of older Arrows…. Too rough and neck jarring!
Never get rid of Viper.
It's The New Revolution-Classic, so it actually is both.
Also 2 weeks ago, all Apocalypse effects were working, and X2's fire was working!
Now, of they could just get the X2 music working again! And a new screen in the station.
It's not gonna be a giga, and there's gonna probably be a lot of whining from locals and thoosies.
What else is new.😂 I'm hoping for a family thrill coaster.
@@JohnnyRobertsJr-d7y The prevailing rumor is a Vekoma family thrill, (suspended flying cycle model that has never been built before.)
@@JohnnyRobertsJr-d7y you want a family ride there
@@rishdawg9618 yes. It’s right across from Bugs Bunny World
My parents had a 1983 Chevy Caprice station wagon. It was the first car I drove after getting my permit. It represents lots of good times in my mind but truth be told it kind of sucked.
It would be Great if ALL of the Trim Brakes were removed from Revolution, and allow The Coaster to operate like it did way back in the day when I 1st rode the Coaster in 1978 after graduating from Marine Corps Bootcamp.🎢 And Revolution had a 5 Train Operation. That would explain for the Large Transfer Track Train Storage Area.
I'd LOVE to see that happen!! I've heard stories of 5 train operation. I don't think ride operators could handle that today.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork Probably not. I can't begin to tell you just how fast the line moved, and the dispatch times between Trains were incredible. But unfortunately there was a computer malfunction on The Coaster in 1978, and it was reduced to a 4 Train operation with 1 Train remaining on The Transfer Track, which still wasn't bad. Even on slow days at the park, Revolution would operate with 3 Trains.
But it's also not needed as much today with all the coaster options.
2026?
Yeah.
