Supports in the tunnel dot towards escalators installed. And support for inversion coming dot from under escalators to final brake run installed. That inversions track is staged next to main show next to top crane. Footers on lower lot turn around are done.
They removed all the trees, but one! It’s a lucky tree at this point. 🌳 Let’s hope they plant more once the coaster is done. Would be awesome to have some nice landscaping!
And half the tree is without branches! Lol! Yeah, I assume the landscaping will be really nice when it's all done. At a minimum, groundcover to keep the soil in place.
Stay there tonight. Got one track to connect from the inversion laying on new cue building floor. With the support for under the escalator. Will go in tonight.
Nice! Too bad the only people able to stay tonight are those at HHN. I was there after a bit after 4pm. Knew the park closed at 6pm. But didn't know they'd stop access to the escalators at 5:15pm unless you're going to HHN. I missed it by 10 minutes. I then went back to the overlook. But then that was closed too. I'll be back Tuesday.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork I’m so glad you didn’t stay. The rain sent everyone home. Expect to see another big push next 2-3 weeks. Once it’s thanksgiving week everything will slow down significantly until after new years. Not stop but not the pace everyone is used to
Thanks for the update! I was watching a live stream of someone at universal yesterday, and i just hear in the background "hey guys its chris from the ACN." 😂 I was hoping they added track by then. 😢 They apparently work on track till 8, so maybe you just left to early. I really dont know though. Maybe the crane was putting track in the station for the maintenance bay. I also wonder why the were Working on the stall if they weren't going to add track. 🤷
You're welcome! Was the live streamer Theme Park ERT? I was chatting with him for a bit when he wasn't streaming. And, yeah, they start work on track at 4pm and go into the evening. But it was already 6 and I wasn't seeing anything started. The park was closing in an hour and it was getting dark. So yeah. And, regarding the stall, I think they are just getting the supports ready for track.
His name is Trolling Karnage. I was seeing the vid, and it seems like they were adding track to the maintenance bay. They had a flat piece of track staged on Thursday, and I can see from the vid that from the maintenance bay to the switch track (from the brake run) it has a new square support. Time will tell!
A ratchet is a mechanical device that allows continuous linear or rotary motion in only one direction while preventing motion in the opposite direction. Yes, there are ratchet tiedown straps. But the word ratchet is also used informally to refer to a ratcheting socket wrench. Which the worker was doing in this video. I've also used the word "torque" when it's a torque wrench specifically. They were using an impact driver in the video.
Ha! I was hoping people wouldn't notice. Happened because I had to slow the old footage down to match the voiceover. And when I do that, the footage gets choppy because I lose frames. There's a process to fix that by filling in frames. And it usually does a good job. But doesn't know what to do with fences. I get that issue all the time. Tried to fix it with a second render. Got a little better but not perfect. Oh well.
From some things I've seen from others, it doesn't look like too much was added since my update 2 weeks ago. Today I decided against going because I didn't wanna miss the World Series game. Might go tomorrow morning/afternoon. But not sure yet. Glad I'm not missing too much.
Reason why, before this construction, I hadn't been back since 2007. And back then it was because I got a free ticket on the mail. Back when they were desperate for attendance. Even Harry Potter didn't motivate me to come back.
Chris I always tune in my mate great updates your are the best at doing this in my opinion.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy them! ☺️
Best update channel for this project.
Appreciate that!
I hope Universal reveals more things about the coaster.
I’m hoping maybe they’ll make an official announcement about the coaster in February/March 2025

Oh wow! I can't wait to see!
Amazing the progress over the past year+
Very much so! I can't wait to see what it looks like in another year. Hopefully on the verge of being open!
Oooh! More mysterious than Mystery Castle 😁💙....
Wonder what it is!!!?

Im so glad to see USH getting their own “Velocicoaster “ intamin coaster 👍🏽 can’t wait to see it here 🚁🎢💯
I'm so excited!!
Same here! And it's possible that it'll be even better than VelociCoaster!
@@AmericasCoasterNetworkehhhhhh we shall see!!! Velocicoaster is bigger!
@@DiamondPrinceWorldthis one has rotation though, which is controlled but will get similar feelings to ride of happiness
@@notcool1079that depends on how they utilize the rotations though
The before and after is crazy

I want to suggest a possible dark ride scene!? Hopefully with animatronics! That would certainly make sense given the theme and noise issues at USH.
I've heard rumors that they're going to have some kind of indoor portion.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork ‼️‼️‼️. That would be so cool if they had an indoor segment like Hagrid’s!
It's Universal. They've been going all out these days. Can't wait to see a formal announcement.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork They’re really destroying Disney, which has been really cool to see!
Chris, has there been enough changes to warrant a F&F coaster video tomorrow? I was at the park on Friday and not too much had changed.

Same here with Jurassic! I gotta find time to not vlog construction!
