Thanks, Mike 😀
Kitchen Tips Online Great voice!
Lee H repurposed voice.
he would make an excellent voice actor, he should definitely fit the part with that warm personality.
Lee H yeah like a bear 🐻✌🏻
I don't know how but I just stumbled onto the most wholesome channel I've seen in a while omg
Thanks for the kind words and welcome aboard, Mike 🙂
Great Tip! It worked perfectly and easily! It's crazy how well it worked. I had used so many different things to clean really bad burnt oil char stains from a stainless steel frying pan that had actually caught on fire: 30% vinegar, Baking soda, Borax, Ajax, bleach; etc. I used everything I could think of and was about to throw the pot away before watching this video! Such a great money saver; and ------ I had it in my home at the time. Thanks Mike! I subscribed immediately afterwords.
Worked great. Thank you.
Left the pot sitting for nearly a week 'cause I didn't want to deal with it, then found this and it worked like a charm!
Awesome I'm glad it works for you! Thanks for having the courtesy to come back and let everyone know, Mike 🧓
How much OXICLEAN did you use?
Also, did you just get the regular OXICLEAN stain remover powder? There are like so many different ones
A-MA-ZING! This absolutely works and saved a pot with egg burnt into it from going into the trash can. Being in Australia, I used Vanish NapiSan OXY that has the same active ingredient. Followed the directions and it and it worked a treat. The whole family was amazed. THANK YOU!
Thanks for your feedback, Mike 🧔
What’s the active ingredient?
@@DBSTre Sodium percarbonate. The same as in Oxy-Clean. :)
Very effective method on stainless steel pots and pans!
Be careful though, don't use this on enameled pots; it will cause the finish to become rough.
Great tip Walter, you are absolutely correct. Thanks for your feedback, Mike 🧓
Thank you sir. My kids burnt some eggs in my pan and I have tried soaking and scrubbing repeat method. Hope this works!
I tried it n it worked wonders. My daughter burnt a pot so badly i parked it never to use it again because I dnt know how to get it clean again. Then I saw this n I did it n my oh my I couldnt believe my eyes. I started to used the pot again. 😃😃😃😃❤. Crystal clean.
That's great to hear Patricia! Thank you for taking the time to come back and leave feedback, I appreciate it, Mike 🙂
Been washing dishes since I was 10; thanks mom. Anyway, for this demonstration, soaking over night in dish detergent then scrubbing with a sos pad works for me. You have my attention.

This worked great but I feel weird using metal on metal to scrape, and I wasn’t exactly sure how much oxy to use! Thank you, I thought my pan was done for, burnt on spaghetti hell! LOVE YOUR VOICE!
Thanks for the kind words I appreciate you your feedback, Mike 🧔
This worked like a charm!!! Saved my stainless steel pot! Thank you!

Hey, thank you for posting this. Let me ask you, how do you remove the stain/crud from underneath the pot?
You're welcome, you can use oven cleaner to clean the bottom of pots and pans, Mike
Just tried this and it made the inside of my Hawkins pressure cooker look brand new. Never scrubbing it in vain again! Btw of course I did not do this with the pressure cooker lid on. That would be nuts.
Jackie, you're very kind to take the time to leave feedback, I appreciate it, Mike 🙂
I’ve known about using laundry powder and water and boiling it to clean like this, for a few decades. It really works. I nearly always forget about it and find it’s boiled over lol 😂
Anna Marie Kenward, Now see how smart you are, you are already ahead of the game. Thanks for your feedback Mike ☺

You are so welcome! Mike 🙂
It seemed to work better than anything else, wish I had seen your video before the other RUclips videos.
I tried baking soda, baking soda and vinegar and Dawn Power spray but nothing compared to using Oxy clean 😊
I'm with you I tried all kinds of different things. Lots of people leave comments saying that baking soda works but obviously it didn't work for you and it didn't work for me. So I agree with you, the thing that seems to work the best is the OxiClean. Thanks for your feedback, Mike 🧔👍
@KitchenTipsOnline Thank you so much for your video.I spent so much time trying to clean the pot more time than it did cooking in it. I would have never thought to use Oxy Clean. Totally amazing
You're welcome 🧔
Came to learn how to undo my burnt frying pan, found an idol AND learned how to clean burnt pan, what a plus!

To make powdered dishwasher soap easier to use: I attach one end of a strip of scotch tape (approx 2 in long) about 1/2 inch inside the pour spout, then attach the other end 1/2 inch down the outside of the spout. Press together to form a tab that you can pull open easily, without breaking your nails. It works best if you do it when you first open it, so the tape sticks cleanly. If your tape is wider than the spout, just trim the side a little.
It is a very interesting tip, thank you for sharing, Mike 🙂
I have used Oxy Clean for years. I rarely burn food, but did a number on my stainless steel pot. After an attempt with vinegar and water with no success, I tried the Oxy. It worked beautifully, very little effort on my part. Thank you for the tip.
amber dorian, thanks Amber for taking the time and having the courtesy to leave feedback. I appreciate it, Mike ☺
I use any brand of washing powder in my mop bucket just use a about half a cup, and dry up the suds and rinse with clean mop and hot water...( Leave the suds on floor for a 5 minute break this method works exceptionally well for the oil and Grease that gets under your oven and down the side of your cookers this method will tackle your problem . Love the video...
Maxwell mc, thank you so much for sharing your tip, and for the kind words. I appreciate the feedback, Mike ☺
This method worked perfectly! Thank you for sharing.

So you're tell me that Oxy clean can clean burnt pans wow. thank you.
Thank you so much. My mother burnt spaghetti sauce thoroughly. She went at it for 4 hours with with 100 grit sandpaper. I stopped by and tried sanding and scraping. I noticed that was going nowhere quickly. I thought a chemical way would be the best bet so I search on RUclips and this came up. She didn't have powder oxiclean but she had liquid and she had hydrogen peroxide. (The oxi in oxiclean) I didn't use water just the hydrogen peroxide and added the detergent. It's high quality non magnetic stainless so I'm confident it won't react. And to think I was about to drive to Lowes and buy muriatic acid and a Hazmat suit. Lol but seriously that was what I was going to do.
You're welcome, thanks for your feedback, Mike 🧔
I saw someone asked about cleaning campfire pans 3 years ago. Rub them with dish soap on the outside before cooking and the black char will come right off.
I've never tried that myself but it sounds like a great tip! Thanks for sharing, Mike 🧔
I was looking for a use of Oxiclean for pots and pans. Came upon this not knowing it used Oxiclean. I use this product on my stainless travel mugs and thermos and it work wonders. You might consider using the product name in the title!
Dominic Ciancibelli, thanks for your feedback, Mike ☺
did anyone else just burn their pot and then look on youtube for help. Me.lol

Yep last night😬
Yes. 1 hour past.
Do you have a solution for cleaning burnt r Or Le Creuset pots? Please let me know, thank you !
Bella Brooks, we've actually been trying to figure out a way that would not scratch the bottom or damage the ceramic coating for these types of pots and pans. To tell you the truth we have not come up with anything that works very well. Someone suggested denture cleaner but we haven't tried it yet. Maybe someone who reads this can offer up a suggestion for you. Mike ☺
OMG. It works like a charm. Thanks! I’ll be watching your other videos.
marcia akridge, thank you so much for the kind words, I appreciate your feedback. Be sure and share with your friends, thanks, Mike ☺
I've been boiling dishwasher soap in the burnt pans. Comes clean with light scrubbing. This method looks even easier.
Good tip, thanks, Mike 🙂
Mike, what if the burn's already caked in the pan or pot. Will the Oxi Clean still work? Please let me know. Have a great day.
Well I don't know because I don't know how bad it is or what the stain is. But I can tell you this, after you try the OxiClean, if you don't get satisfactory results, you can always use oven cleaner. But only if you have a stainless steel pan. You would not want to use oven cleaner on non stick pans, Mike 🧓
Just tried it and it worked perfectly! Thanks for sharing such a great tip.
You're welcome ☺
I burned a stainless steel saucepan, tried using baking soda instead of the suggested product and it worked just the same! Other than that l followed all the steps in the video.
This worked great!
Great to hear! Thanks for your feedback, Mike 🧔
Wow!!!!😮😮😮😮😮😮😲😲😲😲 that is amazing. Will definitely try it on my burnt pots. Ok any tips on how to clean stove top drip pans and how to get tea stains out of pots?

Kitchen Tips Online do you have any tips for getting rust off of things?
@@cadiz4035, What kind of things?
Kitchen Tips Online I have 2 metal bread pans my grandma gave me that are rusted and idk if they're worth saving since they're rusted.
@@cadiz4035 I would use SOS pads to clean the rust off of the pans. I'm assuming they're not coated with something such as Teflon or other non-stick Surface. After I cleaned all of the rust off, I would wipe the pans down with some vegetable oil to prevent rusting. If anyone else has a better idea please let Cadiz know, Mike ☺

TIP for final clean of your pan - First let me say Excellent video with a simple, easy to follow instructions - I HAVE A SUGGESTION for final clean, especially stainless steel - re-wet pan and sprinkle BAKING SODA on the inside of pan - not too much, not too little.... let stand 10 minutes, rub with soft side of sponge (not the scrubber side if it has one) in circular motion especially any stubborn spots. Will not scratch pan as most steel wool can and has in the past for me. I have used this for many years on stainless steel, copper and ceramic pots and pans. DO NOT use on glassware/PYREX. Use triple ott or finer if you decide to use steel wool on your pots and pans. Again THANKS for the great tip!!!! Glad I found your channel :-)
P McGrath, thanks for the feedback and kind words. I also appreciate your tip and will use it next time I clean some sheet pans. Mike ☺
I do the same thing but use dish soap. Works fine. Don't need to go overkill.
I am fine how are you doing
@@juliawright7229 Yes I think so too
ITonight I was making candied citrus and got distracted. Yes, my alarm went off and my house was filled with smoke, I was so upset with me. I did as you said twice and it is so much better, but there is still black on it. Any further suggestions? Will it eventually cook off? It's stainless and my favorite saucepan. Thanks in advance. I'm now a subscriber. I'm in north central Texas.

I tried a Coke a Cola hack on a pan when it first got burned, but as usual distraction and the pan got burned 2x more. Now trying to saved this pan before giving up and buying another one. Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to leave feedback. I appreciate it Mike ☺
Cool! Any tips for non-stick pans that suddenly aren't? I never put them in the dishwasher, but they always end up sticking when cooking eggs eventually. 😥
The only thing I can suggest is regular cleaning. Definitely do not use the method demonstrated in the video on non stick pans. Although we did not attempt it, I believe doing so would damage the pans, Mike ☺
How do you get rid of cloudiness full look inside Stainless Steele pots, pans and skillets? I've washed, scrubbed and tried my best to get my Stainless Cookware back to original shine on interior surfaces. Still comes out a cloudiness type of surface. I've had my Stainless Steele Cookware Set for years. Very durable cooks well and 18/10. Would love to have that pretty shine again.
Tamson Darland, I am not sure how to do that. Perhaps someone who reads this will offer up a suggestion for you, Mike ☺
@@KitchenTipsOnline Thank you for commenting back. Then I will ask if anyone viewing would be able to give me some tips possibly about this problem I have with my Stainless Steele Cookware interior.
Baking soda, baking soda & white vinegar or washing soda also work just as well as Oxi-Clean. Much cheaper too. Not to mention more earth-friendly.
I really like your attitude and...everything!, you seem like an enjoyable person.

Abdul-Hakeem Burns, as a RUclips Creator you may find the following information useful. If I would have made a very short video, the odds are you would have never seen it. And that's because of the way RUclips ranks videos. You may want to check out the following video for more info, Mike ☺ ruclips.net/video/vPRIXRVRIP8/видео.html
I didn't hear it either. Until the end but it was oxi clean
As you stated and I observed I saw you pour milk into the pan, however, after allowing the pan to set for 30 minutes and you began pouring out the burnt on milk crud I didn't see burnt on milk, I saw remnants of sliced collard greens. Could you please explain this? And if I am wrong please accept my apology.
D Quattlebaum, apology accepted. There was absolutely nothing in the pan except milk. The video is exactly as you see it, Mike ☺
Thanks Mike!

will it work on a titanium pan? and the greasy part? thank you .. great video and tips
Thanks for the kind words. We have not tested the method demonstrated in the video on titanium pans. It's my understanding that titanium pans have a coating on them. I suspect that the cleaner used in the video may damage the coating so if I were you I wouldn't risk it, Mike 🙂
MAGIC!

You're welcome 😊
Thank You for sharing! I have loved Oxi-Clean for doing a terrific job with my laundry for many years. I feel like burning something now just so I can👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 try this little trick.
Ha ha, in due time you will burn something and you will know the best way to clean it then, Mike ☺
I have a pot I am trying this on right now. When the water boiled it did not threaten to boil over. I used the exact ratio shown in the video (1/4 cup of oxi clean to 8 cups of water). Did I do something wrong?
I added more oxi clean to the boiling mixture and it did threaten to boil over (so I quickly turned off the heat), but when I turned the heat back on (just to see), the water again made no threat to boil over.
So I’ve left it on low flame. Hopefully this works
Ok. When I rinsed it out there was still burn. Should I just let it sit overnight?
Darksol99 Dark Wizard, the amount of scrubbing that you will have to do and the ability of the OxiClean to do its job depends on what was burnt on to the pan. In the demonstration on the video it was burnt milk. If you had burnt cheese for example, it would be much harder to get off and would require lots of elbow grease. Mike

Thank you 😊 very helpful but what to use on the outside/bottom of the pans and pots? Especially if is expensive dish you cannot use everything like Calphalon please. I’m desperate.
Sorry but this question has come up a couple of times and unfortunately I don't have a solution for you. I wouldn't suggest anything I have not tested as I do not want you to damage your Calphalon cookware. Perhaps someone who reads this may be able to offer up a suggestion. Mike 🧔
@@KitchenTipsOnline thank you sir. I try couple different things I try personally. It’s oven spray, comet powder and comet paste, baking soda and vinegar, salt and lemon and neither one of these work. I have plan to try Bar Keepers Friend also boiling water with baking soda and couple pieces of aluminum foil . You soak your cooking pen in for 15 min then try scrub with aluminum foil from the water. Not sure about both of this but will try. I also see online Calphalon special paste for cleaning so maybe that work. Thank you one more time and I’m praying we found something that work I cannot see my pot and pans in this conditions. 😂 God bless you sir and I wish you all luck.

I have 4 aluminium utensils that are very, very oil-burnt black and the outside too. I have tried many tricks in vain. I shall try it this way putting one utensil at a time inside a bigger utensil.. and boil the whole as advised. I hope that this will be excellent, if God wills. A+
When you say aluminum utensils, do you mean aluminum cookware? Mike 🧔
Aluminium cookware... That's it. Aluminium cookware are mostly banned as it is rather toxic in the long run.. But here in Mauritius, stainless cookware is found 1 in 3 or 4,000 houses. Even in most food courts, aluminium is mostly used. It's not a question of availability. The stainless cookware are much dearer and assembled in sets... even then, without the proper ones for the everyday cooking. One third the population use aluminium cookware even if it might become dark through years of use. Some people through them away or sell them as scrap metal, but if aluminium too could be processed that way, it would be advantageous for nearly 35% of the population especially to protect us/them from severe after effects. I can try it at least, but will it not be a waste of time and money? Thank you for your kind attention and further suggestion if any.
Read... Throw them away... instead the correction of my Android's dictionary... which reads through them away... :-) with thanks.
Is there anyway of cleaning a pot which has burnt dry, and sat on a burner without anything in it? It has discoloured the pot and I’ve tried everything to try and fix it. If you have any ideas or tips I’d surely love to hear them! 😃
I would never have thought of using that!
I use baking soda with very hot water, rest an hour or two. Quite shinning clean. But I think yours is more effective.
William Lau, I've also tried that method baking soda, but yes the method demonstrated in the video works much better. Thanks for your feedback I appreciate the thumbs up, Mike ☺
I just tried this and it worked pretty good thank you for the tip new subscriber here😁
Thanks for your feedback I appreciate it, Mike ☺
Nice work
Thanks 🙂
May be a silly question but would it work if I use liquid detergent that has oxiclean in it?
Liquid detergents use a catalyst to hold the detergents in suspension. I believe that whatever that is possibly clay, would cause a mess maybe a bigger mess then what you already have. But then again what the heck, you still have to clean it anyways. If you do decide to use a liquid detergent, please come on back and give us the details if you would please, Mike 🙂
Would this work also for aluminum pots? Thanks...
Yes it will work with aluminum as well as stainless steel, Mike 🙂
