I've left easy off in my oven overnight -and yes, it literally just wipes clean! Did this with my stainless steel pans, too. Sprayed at night, rinsed clean the next morning. No scrubbing necessary. Having nerve damage from my neck and severe arthritic hands, i need no-scrub cleaning options.

Hi Andrea Jean, first, thanks so much for your great cleaning tips. Just wanted to say two things; We no longer use any type of nonstick pans, pots, sheet pans, etc., since there are none that are safe for cooking, despite their claims - we disposed of ours years ago and cook only with stainless steel or cast iron. Also, a word of caution for those using stainless steel, Easy Off will ruin stainless steel, as I learned the hard way. Especially the yellow can and sometimes the blue can. Again, thanks for your tip ☺

The best cleaner for this job is baking soda and it's very cheap. I spray the surface with water and then sprinkle on top baking soda so it forms a thick paste. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and then just wipe off. It works like magic. I've used it on stove top surfaces with baked in grease, on grill racks, etc. It is like a miracle. No scrubbing, but if there is a lot of gunk to clean, you may need to do it more than once. There are some RUclips videos out there with demos on how this works.

The reason it wasn't spraying out some of the time was because of the angle you were spraying at. The can needs to stay more upright. I know that's harder to do when spraying something in the sink. LOL! Growing up I asked my mother why her pans and Pyrex oven dishes had a nasty brown layer around the edges and she insisted that they all get like that eventually no matter how well you clean them... My pans and Pyrex dishes are all spotless and have never built up that brown layer and I have had many of them for 25 years or there about. Well done to your mum for giving you a good lesson in cleanliness.

Easy Off has been around for many years. For the oven, you have to warm it up first then spray and leave it for a few hours or better yet, over night for a very dirty oven. On pans, DO NOT USE ON ALUMINUM PANS AS IT WILL TURN THEM ALMOST BLACK INSIDE OR OUTSIDE, and you will not be able to undo the damage to you cookware. Porcelain pots or pans clean beautifully with easy off as well. Better that you always clean the bottom of your pots everytime you use them just to keep this problem under control. EASY off can also ruin the surface of your pot as this is an acid, that's how it desolves all the brown stuck on stuff you see here. This works the best on STAINLESS STEEL POTS AND PANS. Warm up your pot or oven BEFORE YOU SPARY because that will speed up the process. Try this on a piece of aluminum foil before you spray it on an aluminum pan... YOU will see what will happen when sprayed on aluminum. Get a few bottles while they may still be found as it has many othe uses. Keep safe everyone and keep🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.

Andrea..... I love your cleaning hacks!!! I have already done a few of them on my own throughout the years. Everyone has always joked about my cleaning. You use a lot of what I have, you have more details for me. Yay....I have a question,
I have always used bleach in a spray bottle with water, then spray on my bathroom ceiling to get the water mark's/stains. You use vinegar and dish soap for a lot of this kind of issue. What would you use for the bathroom ceiling?
    Thank you,
