and for those who are using the industry compatible key-binding and are curious what function this key-combo is actually calling: view-menu -> Align View -> Align Active Camera to View
Hello Olav3D Tutorials, I'm just wondering, how can I change the Blender display settings so that I can change it back to the standard grey mode? I selected white mode but now I want to change it back and I don't know how
Is there a way to snap the camera to the numpad 1 view? The camera is always off when I use numpad 1. And then try snapping the camera to that view using this method.
you can just hit Tab then type "Align active camera to view". I too dislike the trend of tutorials doing everything with shortcuts without saying the name of the action the shortcut is cutting short for, especially when different keymaps exist

Quick and to the point, thanks, one of the few times I didn't need to set 2x speed on a blender tutorial.

Why I can't click that option? it doesn't let me do it
Nevermind, you need to create the camera first, then align active camera to view. Thanks!
"emulate numpad" was looking for this for ages... come to your video, 25 secs later I know everything. Thanks ! Quick and short, to the point !!

% --> n ---> the rest of the video
It's soo simple but it's not included in any documentation
For those who say nothing is happening, you have to already have a camera in the scene. Then click on the camera and press Control + alt + numpad0.
Thankyou so much buddy!!
How do I spawn a camera?
@@cadencase5216 first u must have camera on your scene and press ctrl+alt+0

This is not working in my case. It temporarily zooms into where the camera currently is and does not move where I am. Blender really sucks UX wise.
Many many thanks 🙏🙏.
I am unable to do so ,but now I have done 😊
Is there a way to snap the camera to the numpad 1 view?
The camera is always off when I use numpad 1. And then try snapping the camera to that view using this method.
you should make these but use the #shorts tag thing, they get tons more views
and the nonshortcut version of this is? in case you are on a mac.

I love you. (I've been struggling for sooooooo long.......... thank you!)
and how is the shortcut for industry keymap?
you can just hit Tab then type "Align active camera to view".
