    From Wikipedia:
    About 5 miles (8.0 km) north of the St. Johns-Duval county border, I-95 intersects the I-295 beltway at its southern end 14 miles (23 km) south of central Jacksonville, with I-95 continuing north. The Interstate passes through the heart of Jacksonville, crossing the Fuller Warren Bridge over the St. Johns River, which was rebuilt from its original drawbridge incarnation in 2002. About a mile north of the bridge, at exit 351B, it intersects with the national eastern terminus of I-10, with the interchange's redesign completed in September 2010. From here to exit 353B, it is concurrent with US 17 and its unsigned designation SR 15. The stretch from here in Downtown Jacksonville south past the southern interchange with the Jacksonville Beltway, I-295, can be very congested during morning and evening rush hours, with traffic often grinding to a halt. Well over 100,000 cars use this section per day, with even higher traffic counts in some areas. I-95 intersects I-295 again at exit 362, 11 miles (18 km) north of Downtown Jacksonville. Just north of the northern I-295 interchange, I-95 provides access to Jacksonville International Airport. From this point, I-95 continues north towards Nassau County with an exit for State Road A1A and then into Georgia, just north of mile marker 380.

    As usual Mr Mike you are the ultimate tour guide, just let the views from wherever you are speak for themselves. It would interesting to see more downtown areas to see places that have more or less urban decay.

    I live in the Jacksonville area. For those of you passing through, I’d suggest NOT stopping (for gas or anything else) between the airport area and south of the city when driving down I-95 through the city. Just east of the airport are several restaurants and gas options and at the St Augustine exit, about 25 miles south of the downtown area, there are also several restaurants and gas stations.

    Gotta watch out for state troopers in the night tbh
    Other then that, extremely empty roads with a relaxing aura that borders scary a little bit if you go through country, but you are safe and sound in your car lol.

    12:30 if you ever look left that's the best view of Jacksonville unfortunately you can't see it cause the camera set up.

      Even going through Jax in real life multiple times, i never thought to look at it from that angle.

    NOTE: when approaching the I-95/I-10 intersection in the middle of downtown, you would normally stay left for I-95. But that’s a weird area and IF you ‘miss’ your left lanes, there is a second chance very shortly to exit for continuing south on I-95. It feels scary to miss your exit, but they’ve built in second options in all directions coming from I-10 or I-95. Signage and road markings are good so following them is straight forward with light traffic.

      Yeah Jacksonville did great with that Interchange, especially considering how many exits are right at the interchange.

      Yes, that area used to be a nightmare to try to get over and merge, especially during rush hour. They did the same thing with the 95/JTB interchange going north.

    Who likes the HPS street lighting at night. I like it because they seem very bright and give it a nice orange color.

      I like it. Is that also the lights that most major cities use on freeways? They look pretty similar

    • @bryvlogs6297
      @bryvlogs6297 2 года назад

      Yep!! It’s common worldwide. You think it’s better than the LED street lights

    It looks like there letting the overhead signs lighting on the freeways burn out

    Anybody have an answer as to why FDOT has started to mount streetlights sideways? See 13:30. This is not the only location I’ve noticed this.

      Idk, maybe when just one light goes out there will still be light for both sides
