40% of my life is spent in exporting/rendering lol.
smh
Kushagra Verma lol you have 1 video
Yah, its really hard to render, that's why i stopped making videos
I’m trying his suggestions most of the time I have to leave my computer on before sleep or before I got to work and it would take hours...but it’s moving fast now ...just gotta check the overall quality after it’s finished
😂😅 but Btw 🥺
Watching this video while exporting my video in Premiere :p
Same to same😝
Me toooo
Same. Just saw my exporting time and was like “there has to be a faster way” 😅
Same here 😂
Same here. It’s taking a long time. Slower than a snail. I have a good MacBook. I can’t afford to buy anything else.
What about fps? Does 60fps take much longer than 30fps export
Yup, takes longer.
One could assume... twice as long for 60p vs 30p, since it's twice as many frames?
@@tylersherman9195 Thus Twice the time is taken in 60 fps to export
@@dudefromgamingyt so should I film my IRL vids in 30 or 60 ?
@@itsyoboig3325 30 Fps
ESTIMATED RENDER 3 HOURS but after i clicked USE PREVIEWS IT BECAME 13MINS THANK YOUUu! YOURE GOATED!!!!!!! subbedd
I just want to thank you guys for teaching me everything I know about editing. Still a lot to learn but would not have been possible without you guys
Great video again! And so useful. Playing around with the bitrate can make all the difference for your eventual file size, but also for the export time.
Tip. Duplicate timeline before you flatten stacked layers.
Thank you very much for this Type of video, I hope to get to your level
I clicked this video faster than my Premiere exports, like *3 hours* after it went up. XD!
Peste você está em todo lugar, até em vídeos sobre Premiere!
RIP Hair (someday - March 27, 2019)
We will all miss you...
😂
If you came to see if this works, it took my export from 3 horus to 6 minutes! I liked and subbed thank you so much!
I need this video 5 hours ago...it needs 1 hour to render 284 mb video😓
Sheesh! That's ridiculous.. what effects did you apply?
@@c0pyimitati0n nothing just colour graded..added audio and music😥
@@DynamicFilmer just Lumetri? Did you add an unsharp mask filter?
@@c0pyimitati0n nope😭
Tell me why I need to wait 14 hours for a 1:40 video that only has text and the 30fps to 60fps effect
Best channel for video editing tips😀😀😘🙂
Firat time i have got ❤ from cinecom.net
Thanks Cinecom
Thank you!!!
Exporting to the less compressed codec like cineform (which is gpu accelerated) or AVID or even PRORes is the best tips ever. I was blow away by how much performance had I gained.
This shit changes lifes
this was super helpful, thanks so much!
ALWAYS great tips and nuggets to help even those of us who've been editing for 40 years. Great job as usual, Jordy!
Thanks man :) You are Great
Super helpful bro! My render time is 2 hours for a 10 min footage because another youtuber advised to use higher than what youtube recommends in order to end up with a larger file on youtube's server after compression. My bitrate was set to VBR 1 pass at 10-25 MB/S! I guess it's only needed for fast action, but for talking heads, No Go.
It is such a coincidence, I've just been looking for how to render quickly in premier and your videos just pop-ups on my screen 😅
Thank you so much you're rockks 🙌🙌
Does the using previews option help if you are converting a video to jpgs
The scissors finally caught you. 😂 RIP hair
Great tips. I learned a lot new about exporting. On the GH5 we can shoot 400 mbps, in Premiere should I set it to VBR 1 or 2 pass and set the minimum bitrate to 400 and the maximum to 400, or is it no point in doing so?
There is no point in doing so. That number only applies to how much data the camera is recording per second. When you render a video you will choose a format that will be best for the platform that you intend that video for. Such as the youtube format, it has everything set so that the video can be streamed without too much fuss. You would need to research the different kind of codecs and containers to find out which are the highest quality if you wanted to go that way.
When a camera records it records at a certain rate of data (400mbps for the GH5) basically giving you a lot of raw data to play with in an editing program. When you are rendering, you take the camera data, along with any changes made, effects added, etc, and then compress that into a single file. Most platforms require smaller file sizes in order to give the viewers the most stable, smooth, quality video playback as possible. You could go ahead and render a video into a large file size but most codecs that can do that are not readily available on your computers media player (some of them can be bought) and you will not be able to view the final video.
@@dalestokes2789 ok thank you! Yeah I've noticed that the footage can be a bit laggy in high bitrates before :-)
Life saviour with the alt down arrow key. Awesome
Great Ideas! Loved it.
Love from NEPAL.
Neoals beautiful
I love your Premiere Pro videos! Can you make DaVinci Resolve Videos too?
Recently I did a workshop on video making, and recommended your channel! 😀
Thank you 😁
@@CinecomCrew omg you replied 😁😍🙏🤗
I am from the Netherlands and I like your channel.
Wow, this will be helpfull, haven't watched it yet but i feel like it will
I've got the first like on the vid!
cool.
Thank you for the tips, I have drastically improved my hardware and that's helped loads but these tips are still very good.
Great work guys!
I currently render a video in Premiere Pro and it runs very slow then I find this tutorial ..
God never sleep :')
Can't really understand why stacking effected clips increases the rendering time. Maybe because Premiere applies first the effects to all the clips and then cuts them and appends them together?
Thank you Jordy, another great video
Did they fix adobe pro 2019? CuZZ when I updated my adobe it started crashing and playback didn’t work (Please respond)
Great video, thanks for making it!
Tip when purchasing new hardware
If you use mostly premiere pro
- Go with a high core cpu!
- Premiere pro is multithreaded so a 16 core Threadripper will speed up your workflow a lot!
If you use After effects
- Try finding a cpu with high single core performance!
- The 8700K is a good option due to its price to performance!
If you use C4D or houdini
- Go with the threadripper 100% for the rendering and simulating of object its worth it!
Pro's of Intel
- Best single core performance on the market
Cons of Intel
- High price
- Only maximum of 2 gpu's (Due to the maximum amount of pcie lanes 16 to be exact)
- Low core count
- 4 ram slots
Cons of Amd (threadripper specificly)
- Not as high single core perfomance
- Minimum 300 euro motherboard instead of 150 euro intel (decent ones)
Pro's of Amd (threadripper specificly)
- Many cores
- 64 pcie lanes support (so you could run 8 gpu's)
- Better bang for your buck
- 8 ram slots
(note i know you have xeons that support more gpu's but thats not in the same price range)
Underrated comment! Thanks a lot!
This was much needed!
thank you for clear and detailed explaination
My video is of 2116 mb and it's choosen 40 nitrate by itself and takes 40 mins to export is it fast or slow ?
great video!
Love the tips and tricks Cinecom.net!
Super cool video. Thanks brother!
Sitting here editing tomorrow's video as I'm watching(creating proxies too).... Great tips, thanks for all the info, take it easy...
I need to export a 4k video that keeps freezing during export, sometimes it crashes. I decided to try the 1080 hd option and it still does the same thing.
Good tips very helpful best video I've seen on this subject
This is a real tutorial. I am thanks for this guy for help me. Before watching this, I spent 1 hour four export my file but now I spent only 30 minutes. Wow! It's awesome.
Thanks for your advice 👍!!
omg that stacking clips tip saved me so much time, thanks!
At 2:16, it's very important that you set the Format to the same codec you set your Sequence Previews to render out: ProRes 422. This needs to be a codec supported by smart rendering, not just any lightweight codec. Choices include, as you mention: ProRes, DNxHD, and GoPro Cineform. In the video you show that you are not set up quite right with the H.264 codec selected. The two issues with this "smart rendering" technique is that you should really render your entire timeline to get the fastest export speeds, unless they are actually IN the ProRes codec to begin with and have no effects applied. Otherwise...render at every opportunity. The other issue is the large file size, but after exporting your H.264 files from the ProRes master, you can safely delete preview files and the master.
Superb tutorial friend, comprehensive & found it very useful , keep up the good work !
THANK YOU,YALL ARE THE BEST TEACHERS AND YOU EXPLAIN IN DETAIL. :)
Imagine if you could run media encoder in the background while editing so that it renders everything you do and when you export it the software just finalises it! Wait is that possible!?? TELL MEMEMEEEEE!
On my dual xeon it does
Thank for sharing
This will really helps me. Thank you

Very helpful thanks Jordy!
You guys have taught me loads. Thanks very much!!
thank you. I'll keep that in mind.
also when you said increase export time with speed. it sounds like making exporting time longer.
decrease export time?
Thank you Jordy! I used to hate your accent but it’s grown on me. My sister thinks it’s fake though. Great stuff man!

Great tips. Some I knew and some I didn't. Thanks a lot. 🙂👍
This channel is growing.
you guys are the best
Thanks bro!
This helps a lot
Does premiere pro use the previews made in the sequence when u select "use previews" on export in H.264 format? Or does "use previews" only work when using uncompressed formats such as proress or gopro cineform? Plus in both instances the sequence settings match the export settings.
PLEASE ANSWER. Thanks
😉
working in Premeire Pro CS6 on a Lenovo Yoga500 i7 laptop with Nvdia Geforce 920M. While exporting 1920x1080 at bit rate 8, time shown extremely high around 50 hrs for a 13min video. Shot on 5D mkiv. Can u please help.
Awesome video cinecom but can you recommend editing laptop under 1000
Thanks You so much for Helping Me and Love You BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jurdy answered so many of my questions, alright, I guess I will hit the notification. ;)
Thanks! Just in time, I need this info for my final proyect haha
Good advices, but media encoder sometimes exporting with some missing files or troubles with audio, if it was a lot of layers...i dont know why, but when i do render in premiere after that without any changing, he makes it without bugs.
Hi jordy... Best as always
I dont get it , you`re telling me Media encoder allows you to export while you`re editing, so that means that if you make any changes on your video in the process , it wont be affected anyhow?
Great tips
loved that bro.....keep it up........
Yeaahh thanks for all the tips !
Thanks For This Video ....
from 17 h to 26 h... yeahhhh niceee.... cooooooool. WOOOOOW
I love media encoder, besides the fact that i typically am rendering several videos at once, it also renders faster than PP.
Please, I have a problem with the capacity of my videos. Indeed I see some videos longer than mine but with a capacity really smaller than mine and good quality.
How to solve this problem without loss of quality?
