I fucking love how Miles started out as just an idiot who went to Afghanistan and now he's becoming a genuinely incredible source of content out of Afghanistan. There is no other person that portrays the lives of these people and their stories in such a genuine non filtered unbiased way and I want to say to Miles you genuinely have my deepest respect for the content you make.
As much as Miles may be a balding, mouth breathing sperg he is still one of the only people giving a voice to these people. They show him nothing but kindness and hospitality despite him not being of their faith, and from a country that caused them immeasurable harm. I didn't expect to get choked up watching this. keep up the good work

It exceeds that of any other culture that I have encountered on my travels - which is even more extraordinary when you consider the poverty and decades of war that they have endured.

As heart wrecking as the kids were, as funny as running a movie night of Rambo 3 to the Afghanis were, to me the highest point was the elderman showing off his SMLE, a gun that's 100 years old, that took service in at least three wars against world's empires, being kept in some afghani hut for years. And it's still works! War really doesn't determine who's right but who's left.
Beliefs aside, this kind of verbal story reporting from the locals is likely the most accurate account of history you can get of the area and history of the movements of people over time
Afghans are the MOST hospitable people in the world. Even if they don’t have any food they would literally give you their last piece of bread or the shirt off their back if you needed it.
