All things were good until he started to show it, like dude, you have a piece of gods work in your hands, anything you want can be turn into reality, like this town, in the right mindset, can skyrocket to that of the levels only seen in fiction and fanfic stories like atlantis.

I like your idea but, how many times has mankind been given a new power only to turn around and mess it all up? Good intentions aside, that kind of power even with the best intentions can go extremely wrong in a very short time. When nuclear fision was first thought up its origonal purpose was supposed to be used for free (or extremely cheap) energy and not a weapon of massive destruction. But again, I do really like your idea.
If the town people united this would be the richest town in the world. Imagine how much gold, oil, diamonds, silver, rare earth minerals could they produce, sell and split the profits
Right? Just melt that big ring, and then place that into the set and you've got like 100,000 cubed feet of gold.
And don't forget they can feed many towns around them,with gigantic bread,milk,meat etc.

dude was thinking too small with this magic tool. he could've just printed gold if he wanted to improve the town. so many raw materials he could print: wood, copper, steel, water, silver. he could also print food: beef, fish, chicken, bread. blood bank need blood? a drop from his finger is enough. he could've taken spider silk from his spider and multiplied it thousand-fold; spider silk is a very valuable material.
But, some people never thought of that, and people, will take this for granted and his kindness will be taken advantage of.
The 'valuable material' would suffer from inflation because of an increased supply of the item/material.

@@Raynold125 there will have to be some inflation; that's the whole point of mass-production. the guy will pretty much have a a monopoly of spider thread production at scale. yes, some industries will be affected but abundance of raw materials like copper or lithium will ultimately give the consumer a less expensive product to purchase, will would increase demand.

I didn't like it much, God doesn't let us experience pain for entertainment, overcoming pain is rich and rewarding and builds character, My guess is God wasn't always God, God achieved being God, he created us in his image we are living the same background God once lived and that made him God, all Children eventually grow up, become our equals or surpase us, God's work here, like any artist, is reflective of himself.

There's a LOT of these recap channels. I know. There was even one instead of saying counterfeit, it became "counterFEET' on the audio. and most times, they grab the summary from Wikipedia. The recap for The Island with Ewan McGregor has the WRONG summary for the movie. It's audio reading software OR a guy who has no clue what he's reading.

Yeah but it broke when him and the mayor were fighting next to it so it wouldn't work anymore. It was basically a miracle his ring stayed on the table when it fell over.

Crazy how my childhood imagination had been made into a movie.. I used to think about owning miniature replica of my hometown and even the whole world as a portable globe whereby I could manipulate what's happening here and there. 😂
That's a lot of power right there, if only the right decisions were made, and it's also something you'd want to keep to yourself. Next thing you know corporations want control of it.
The moral of the story is that a good deed is it's own reward - unless someone else benefits from your good deed. Then you should be allowed to do whatever cruel things you want to that person, resulting in cataclysmic devastation, and then not take any responsibility or suffer any consequences, regardless of how many people you hurt, because you accidentally gave everyone a bunch of gold.
The moral of the story is man is man and God is good all the time.

So...put your wedding ring on the table. Go outside, use a dremel or something to cut out a nugget. Go back inside, pocket the ring which now has a teeny little scuff on it that's barely visible even if you have a loupe and know where to look. Place your gold nugget on the table. Go outside, carve the nugget into tiny bits. Go back upstairs, sprinkle the bits all over. Yeah this would tank the value of gold but it has a lot of industrial applications, radiation shielding, etc. so maybe making it as valuable as copper isn't such a bad thing.

cute. No violence. Lessons learned. One could just recycle the ring from the street back to the model using a small bit. In reality people are happiest when their (true) efforts are rewarded.
The only thing this town couldn't solve would be medical issues and manufacturing. They could make small transportable houses, food, clothing, everything the whole world needs.
