Getting geared up at Allport Motorsports | Seat Time: A Journey to Tsukuba - Episode 6

First thing’s first, safety first! In Episode 6, we drop by Allport Motorsports to see Richard Allport for a new race suit, safety gear, and helmet to get geared up for Jacky’s drive at Tsukuba Circuit in December.
To represent our sponsors and brands, we jumped on the computer with Richard where he showed us how easy it is to design a race suit.

While we were there, we also caught up with the founder of Allport Motorsport, Neil Allport. He’s a local race and rally legend who’s had a lot of seat time in all sorts of cars; from Mark 1 escorts to group B rally cars, Mazda 323’s to 90’s and early 2000’s rally cars.
It was a great time to share a bit of New Zealand racing history with a local legend, and of course to pick up some tips and tricks for our Journey to Tsukuba.
