How Fast Can I Drive? | Seat Time: A Journey to Tsukuba — Episode 10
On this episode Jacky, Anson, and Jack sat down together and went through some in-car footage from last years' track day in Christchurch out in Anson's FL5 Type R. A quick refresh is always handy to point out where improvement can be made for a faster lap time. We will be also be doing this on Jacky's drive at Tsukuba in Japan so we can improve the lap time after each outing.
We went through it all together so you can understand the advantages of drive data, and we also explained how the built-in Honda LogR software works in the new Civic Type R, it’s more than just a lap timer! Watch and find out!

In absence of a dry sump system, what is the solution to the oil starvation issues ?
There is a new product that might be coming out on the market at the end of the year but still under development and testing . Cant really say too much on here. Also factory one make team are not even worrying with oil dripping down to 20psi, as we approached them to try out this new product.

Interesting argument on the boxers, would you rather a fl5 or a FA sti for DD and track use?
We have a pretty built Fk8 in Nz already and that goes really well and it’s hard to beat! It will keep up with GT4 no problem full trim. Havant driven any big horse power late model STIs but they always understeer big time unless is properly setup 😅
