  • It’s been almost two months now since we released the first episode of Seat Time!
Let's have a quick update of what's been going on behind the scenes with the build of the car, safety gear, and physical training. HKS have also now picked our GR86 and they have started on the build!
Back to Episode 7; we thought it would be easier for everyone to watch and follow a recap of HKS’ journey with their GR86 Performer Time Attack car in one video. We have studies the progress of the car setup, analysed the drive, and watched the changes they have made. We break down how they lifted the bar each time till they got into the 55-second mark at Tsukuba!
With the track experience and data that they have gathered over the years, we are very confident they will put together the best package and setup possible for us to jump in and just send it straight off the trailer!

Heck yes on practicing muay thai! I thought about making the theme of my gr86 to be centered around muay thai since it's a boxer engine 😜. Love seeing yall car on the track!

In absence of a dry sump system, what is the solution to the oil starvation issues ?

There is a new product that might be coming out on the market at the end of the year but still under development and testing . Cant really say too much on here. Also factory one make team are not even worrying with oil dripping down to 20psi, as we approached them to try out this new product.

Interesting argument on the boxers, would you rather a fl5 or a FA sti for DD and track use?

We have a pretty built Fk8 in Nz already and that goes really well and it’s hard to beat! It will keep up with GT4 no problem full trim.
Havant driven any big horse power late model STIs but they always understeer big time unless is properly setup 😅
