i just use microwave with coffee grounds in the cup 3-5 mins and done, the grounds just sink to the bottom no filter needed, no stupid rip off scam coffee maker for me!
Just heat water in a regular ceramic coffee mug for 2 min, then add the amount of grounds you want and mix it up with a spoon, then add whatever you want. (Sugar, cream, etc.) there’s no need for all this.
cold coffe: get a cup with water inside not to much 1 min, get milk and put almost to the top of the cup,put the creamer in. and it becomes a cold coffe.
tip i learned from CRH (Crazy Russian Hacker): If you don't have a coffee brewer. You can use a regular coffee filter or a paper towel on top of a empty cup. Put your coffee grounds on the paper towel. Boil hot water (or use the microwave {I reccomend 2 cups just incase}) Use a rubber band (if you have one) to tape the paper around the cup. And pour the water in. Wait. Then remove the rubber band and filter/ towel. Now this is optional but you can put creamer and or sugar/milk/both into the mixture and voila. Coffee
also, you only need about 1-2TBS for a cup that size. you're supposed to lightly press the coffee into the pour over base so that the water sits on top of the grounds and slowly filters through. also, you should take a few tbs of hot water and pour that all over the ground to allow the coffee to "bloom". that way all the oils, caffeine, and flavor can be absorbed into the water when you pour the rest of the water over it :)
Will a Kitchen funnel or a Single Mesh Strainer (either choice lined with a coffee filter) work just as well as a "One Cup Ruler"? (Might not be easy to find that tool, you use to strain the instant coffee.)
I just put my grounds into a coffee filter and tie it with string/twine from the dollar store. Like a giant tea bag. I put the coffee bag in the cup while it nukes.
Damn his microwave loud asf my dad would have whooped my ass if I used that microwave at 3am like I normally do 🤣🤣

Regular coffee filters do not work as well as the #2 cone filters made especially for the melitta pour over coffee system...

You can make one out a Styrofoam cup that cup-o-noodles comes in. Just make a dime sized hole in the bottom of the cup and use regular coffee filter.
