- I recently gutted all of the electronics in my number 1 gigging guitar, every wire and pot, and put new Pickups in also. Here are a range of tones through two broad amp styles. I picked a range of sounds mostly on clean and without changing the amp at all to show you the versatility in these pickups. I included a high gain example to display the clarity and transparency with a high gain harmonically dense chordal part. Also a more classic rock example.
I've used the nailbombs before but not in a PRS so Im really pleased with the result. Видеоклипы

who did the split coil work for you?
It’s nice to see you back man!!!
love that riff mannn, cuts just right, keep it up!
Great job buddy, greetings from Barcelona 👍🎵
Great sounds and awesome playing as usual. Oh and beautiful guitar!
Thanks Todd!
Nailbomb (ceramic)/VHII is my favorite pickup combination ever. So good and so versatile!
Thats an awesome guitar man!
I've got the alnico bomb in my six string as well. Thinking of trying the ceramic version in a seven string build.
How would you say that the VHII compares to the Vintage Bass? I'm considering getting the neck for my 2005 Artist C24, they seem to sound soooo nice in your demo.
Great demo and playing Will. So the Nailbombs are in the Bridge and VHII in the neck?
Thats right! Outputting at 15.7k in the bridge and 7.9k in the neck, which is very similar to the original HFS and VB stock pickups
Great demo! Do you recall if they are the alnico or ceramic nailbombs?
Hey thanks Allen! This is the Alnico V
Am i to understand that the VHII is in the neck and the Nailbomb is in the bridge?
So was that VH2 clean neck tone?
Wow it sounds really good! The highs are a bit too harsh in high gain but the cleans are very warm and pleasant 👌
Everything about this is so sick.... not only did I just subscribe.... I threw up a little in my mouth.
Play some Tommy Emmanuel.
