In the REAL world, when one country supplies another country with military vehicles and/or weapons, those things come with a contract that states, "thou shalt not use these in..." this or that sort of situation. Much like the US weenies telling the Ukrainians how far into Russia they can shoot their missiles. Failure by the receiving nation to follow those rules has negative ramifications. Clearly in this case, both the US and Germany have given UA permission to use their armored vehicles in Russia.

America's greatest living general is for historians to decide, but General Ben Hodges has to be the most inspirational military commander of our time. If it was a perfect world, Ben Hodges would be Secretary of Defense for the USA and the Ukrainian war would have ended long ago. Why do I say that? Because when General Hodges speaks about Ukraine, he always starts out by saying they are going to win this war and he ends his talk by saying Putin will lose the war.

Reports today show the Ukranian military forces have cleared out a munitions storage with lots of ammo. Then there are all the captured "conscripts" that were never used in battle, it's against Russian policy.
Kursk is now a transportation hub for the Ukranian military forces to remove the people and ammunition.
This situation was planned, so it's not a fluke. OPSEC sure is keeping people, news etc guessing. Well done 💯

Ukraine should occupy Russian territory, so after a ceasefire, Ukraine has something to exchange with Russia. India did the same with Pakistan in the 1965 war. When Pakistan was gaining ground in Kashmir, India opened a front in Rajasthan and got close to Lahore.
In war, position matters, and it matters a lot. Being at the top of a mountain is not the same as being at the bottom. If Ukraine has to reclaim its land from Russia, where the Russians have already fortified positions, Ukraine will face heavy casualties. Similarly, every inch of land that Russia takes from Ukraine, if well fortified, will result in significant Russian casualties. However, even though Russia may suffer heavy losses, it is still gaining land. If Ukraine occupies Russian land that was not fortified and builds defenses similar to other parts of Ukraine, then Russia will face huge casualties. Even if Russia wins that land, it will not lose Ukrainian territory. Most importantly, when it comes to a ceasefire, Ukraine can exchange this land for its own, otherwise, Ukraine risks losing its land permanently."
