Much of this is correct, but the tremors in the Chinese economy are in no small part because the state has used trade ties as political clout, and when economic confidence is subject to the whims of an aggressive political group that will sever trade ties and stability for the sake of international bullying, there is no confident market.
It's interesting observing Westerners trying to analyse China. I think this analysis needs decades of an individual absorbing Chinese culture and history by immersion in it in order to gain even the slightest insight. Chinese thinking, politics, history and culture have all been very foreign to us in the West yet we try to understand it with the same perspectives as we do our own society despite very little visceral appreciation of it. China is greatly misunderstood and we continue to allow this misunderstanding to pervade our thinking at everyone's peril.
It's comforting to know China is failing and dissent is growing, the West has been a huge customer of Chinese goods and they do very well from western buisness, however the really poor way Xi handled Covid and his support for russia in its invasion of Ukraine has been enough to turn the tide.
Talking about poor way of Covid was handled in China they did not have 1 million death related to Covid in China or 4.7 million covid related death like the democratic India.

The US recognises both, But like most other Countries plays along with the CCP and doesn't make a big deal about not having diplomatic relations with Taiwan. But does have a good relationship with them including security agreements. I've always hoped that China grows up and acknowledge their shared ancestry and cultural heritage, and that it's pointless murdering the youth of both, for what? I have a better idea, using an ongoing series of touring exhibitions from the National Museum in Taipei to cities on the mainland, to foster an exchange and a re-connection with their joint artistic and cultural heritage, missing from the mainland, due to destructive policies during the Cultural Revolution (not Taiwan's fault). There wouldn't be any point in not returning the first exhibition, because then there wouldn't be another. It's a win - win strategy because the mainland over time gets to see some of the most beautiful and most delicate objects ever made by mankind, their past. They would relate far more than Westerners to the old Calligraphic documents. Through Art awareness and shared values the political tensions could ease and hopefully thaw out. After all the money saved from a thaw would be better spent living up to some of their Communist philosophies , supposedly being an equal society. Time to live up to some of that, instead of killing the youth of both. Forget the easy economics of military weapons, and spend it on improving both sides of the Taiwan straights. One sculptural example, an olive stone carved into a boat. the top half, ornately crafted into an old Chinese junk with four posts and seats inside with half a dozen old men sitting around talking, each with beards and expressions. The scene a split second from a famous old play. The other half of the olive stone , the bottom of the boat , carved so intricately in rows of tiny Chinese characters is written the whole play. Mad ccp stinky breath
He has something in common with Starmer then
A lot of similar censorship happening in the UK…scary similarities 👀
go back to sleep
@ 😂😂😂 is that meant to be an insult! The jokes on you if you really think your own government doesn’t censor its own people. And I don’t need to go to sleep because I have a job and a life thanks!
delusional. In rural China there are loudspeakers in fields broadcasting propaganda to farmworkers. Show me that, or anything like it, in the UK.
False comparisons are a weird modern addiction
@ 😂😂😂 we’re on the path to that, and if you can’t see that then you really have got your head in the sand!
@@mustafa1nameHave you been to rural China ? I worked as an agricultural consultant in Hong Kong going into China on numerous occasions and I have never seen anything like that .
There are lots of examples of propaganda in China in their state control media as there is in British media like Times Radio here .why do you feel the need to lie .
Alway the same talk but never happen.
déjà-vu again
Winnie the Pooh, like Putin, is worried
Soooo u are saying trump = putin= biden 😆

What utter nonsense!
China's doing just fine...let's talk about California!
Zelensky's Rule in jeopardy, TR pivoting hard!
Still more secure than what Putin is experiencing now.
@@lostlogic6911😂 you're deluded

@@lostlogic6911You are about to get a shock very soon.
@@MarkHewitt I've been waiting for that "Shock" since 2022. How soon are we talking about here?
Trump 2024
Ok fake Dude. News for you: the real one is voting Harris. Look it up.
China's doing just fine...let's talk about Germany!
It will rise even more when we get the greatest leader to ever Grace us back in the White House. TRUMP 2024 🇺🇸 MAGA. The world needs you more than ever Donald! ❤️
Only if you are believing in fairytales
Naive. He’s not coming to save you. All the criminal elites have to do to fool you is say all the right things, be a bit charming and charismatic, make you laugh a bit, give you some things you want and tell you they’re anti criminal elite and you’re putty in their hands. These are so often the people you really need to watch out for in life.
2 wings, same bird. You still believe in the red vs blue theatre game that’s designed to keep you blaming the wrong people. These are puppets. Two speeds and flavours of control. Two means to the same ends.
You’re clueless.
What would you be like if the anti christ came along? You’d be their biggest fan.
I’m betting you watch the news and believe it. 😂 Probably still believe in WWE being real and Santa Clause too.
You don’t need to be here, type Blues Clues in the search box, you’ll like that one mate. 😬👍
