Honestly, it sounds like Starset's latest album, Horizons, would probably be more your cup of tea than any of their earlier stuff. These days, they use some low tuning on their guitars and let the less electronic instruments and the orchestra shine through more often. They've for sure mastered that aspect of their songs. I suggest Deevolution, Dreamcatcher, The Breach, Icarus, and many more songs form Horizons.
And in terms on the instrumentals at the end; Starset is a lore based band. They are trying to tell the story of a fictional society called the Starset Society with their music. From the outside, it sounds weird, but it's part of the "message" they are trying to tell with their music. It's not for everybody, but that's the reason for those instrumentals being there.
Good breakdown. I disagree with you on the outros, but that's why the phrase "To each their own" exists. Have an awesome day. See you in the next video.
LMFAO! I knew the ending would bother you haha, it's common with them, it's part of the whole story and package, but yeah sometimes I wish they were split off in 10-45 second independent tracks.
This is one of the best songs from their first album which is still their best one by far imo, I can understand your problem with the outro but it's kinda their thing going on in this album with each of them leading to the next song ^^
So I think you'd like more songs from this album but they basically all have these outros :D
Nice! Glad I could give you a song that gets you on the right track for Starset. I really like the mix of analog and real instruments in this one as well. I can understand why you don’t like the outro though. You have to listen to Starset more to be able to appreciate the outros. Here’s a good explanation I found. “They’re interludes, or instrumental passages from one song to the next. Not only that, they give more of a passage and ambience that reinforces the song’s main idea (or to tell a story)”
Thank you for getting to my request and for the good review. I honestly thought the score was gonna be under 8 after your reaction to that ending though😂 glad it wasn’t
This song is always weird for me I mean it's definitely not in their most complex song that I usually like more(Say compared to songs like It Has Begun or songs from Vessels) yet I absolutely rank this in their top 5. There's just something simply great about this song that I really love, I also feel that with Dark on Me but Let It Die is just slightly above it for some reason.
This song gives me energy to keep moving in life
Idk if I'm weird... but even thou I don't follow the lore behind the last minute instrumentals I always enjoy them very much like I never NEVER skip them... sometimes I'm just waiting for the s9ng to end to hear them idk as I said maybe I'm weird...
Thank you for your reaction this is one of my favourite tracks from that album
This was their first album, which definitely had a good balance of synthetic and real. Vessels was a heavier album that was also pretty balanced. From what I've seen, your earlier reactions were from the divisions album, which was a lot more synthetic and fake, which was part of where the storyline went at the release of that album. Horizons, their latest album, is very real, with the orchestra being very prominent and down-tuned guitars and banger drums. There are still some electronic elements, but not too much. I think it's just because a lot of your reactions were from divisions that you thought STARSET is heavily electronic. Nice review!
Still waiting for the Ricochet by Starset reaction! Not upset just curious if it's in your roster
The only song still in the que from Starset is called "Dark On Me".
@@THEDavidHeretic that's a good one too. Hopefully Ricochet can make its way in there someday
The song went in as a whole, but its completion was really meaningless, although it did not give me such dissonance as for DH (man, you were very worried)
Their "Let It Die"-Maniac Agenda is faster paced and more digital input. Song ends up being 7 32. I think I like that version better.

It's sad to see someone get so upset when they don't agree with another person's artistic vision.
I have to agree with him on this one. As a big Starset fan, when the actual song is over I always skip these endings because they take away from the flow and impact of the song
The ending part isn't part of the song, so idk why you get so pressed about it. Its just a outro that everyone skips
