That's why I have watched a lot of serious anime. Even though shounen shows are fun I always prefer some more profound and realistic plots. Maybe you remember that I have always looked for deep thoughts in anime :D
I love anime/manga even more than superheroes. 2020 was shitty year for me. My parents got divorced and I was forced to almost move out. I didn't have anybody there for me until I read alot of manga and watch anime. The stories and characters I can relate to so much. I realized there was something I did have pride in.
Never let age prevent you from enjoying anime
Animes like fullmetal alchemist brotherhood that talks about racism touches up on alot more emotional and realistic stuff gives you lessons that you can apply irl are gems

That's true, FMAB is one of the most thought-provoking animes ever. For instance, when Edward states that people from different races must treat each other equally (refering to the hatred between Amestrians and Ishvalans). The Truth, Father, the Homunculi, the Army, and much more.
