I think the scariest part about this is the only way to find out the answer is you’ll never find out until you die… and even then you couldn’t tell anyone you were okay. I think sometimes we forget to enjoy life at its fullest, but if you die you’ll either forget about everything shut off eternally or be unable to communicate to any living relatives, you should enjoy life.
I have the answer, you become a soul. A soul is what makes our body move, and once we die, it leaves the body, so you'll be a soul. So you are still alive, and you'll be okay. Its nothing to be scared of. But i still agree with your advice of enjoying life and not wasting it on something dumb and silly.
Yep... No matter what our religion is, no matter what our beliefs are... In the end, we do not know what awaits us after death. In this regard, regardless of our background, we must agree that death is the proof of what awaits us in afterlife. But for me as a religious person, it is not about proving what awaits us, but about preparing to face it when the time comes whatever it is.
For me, I had a theory that might already exist, but it works like this: Every religion, theory, and belief exists in a web-like way, because some theories and ideas and quite similar to one another. Let’s say you believe there’s a heaven and hell, you’ll go to heaven and hell, so your beliefs affect the way you die. That meaning, every death and afterlife exists if you believe hard enough and do the requirements for it, like if you’re a Christian , you’ll go down a Christian life. Pretty much an afterlife will be your afterlife if you follow the beliefs and other things to it.
@@endtheworld1I do, in Christianity people who don’t believe in God go to hell, so that means other religions can’t have an afterlife, that would be a contradiction

That's not what nothingness is You wouldn't be able to see or think either You'd experience the same thing you would've experienced before you where born Nothing
I remember watching someone rank every afterlife, and he made a good point that we all automatically fear nothingness because we don’t exist anymore. We’ve been existing since, well, all our lives, so the idea of *not* existing terrifies the average person. But is not existing really that bad? Like there were millions of sperm cells that could have been alternate versions of you that never made it, thus millions of people who didn’t have a chance at life. Is that nothingness really that bad? Or are we so used to living that the thought of not living just scares us? I’m not saying that I’m fine with nothingness, nor do I want it, but it’s interesting how we all are scared of it when we don’t know how it feels to experience it. Hey, maybe it’ll be relaxing.
@@TediTheGodfather I think the nothingness can be comfortable. Like the space between dreams, where, yes, there's nothing, but that means there's nothing to stress about, and you wouldn't exactly be thinking to be bored of anything. I'd be like neverending contentment, not even existing. At least I find it preferable to eternal suffering being a possibility.
Every political opinion, every achievement, every object, sentiment, and historical event will seem to have lost meaning when there was no meaning to it ever. Never ever. Never was, never will be. I wish people were more atheistic so they'd actually know there are consequences to their actions.
Nothingness is the only thing which needs no proof for its' existence. Every situation, life, universe, something, anything is just another form of nothingness. Imagine likes this: 0=0 but also 3 -3 = 0 or 4 - 9 + 5 = 5×5 - 25 .. Therefore -> Everything MUST exist. And the possibilities are infinte. This is truely scary.
I believe in a very similar version of parallel universe theory. Except, you get to choose. Your options go as follows: Face judgement Or Pick a universe and live again The ‘judgement’ I mention is basically the place where you get to test your soul, like the underworld journey. If you are overall good, you go to where you can eternally rest.(you cannot go back to living after choosing judgement) if you are overall bad, you will be dismissed to a variation of hell. The being that gives you judgement takes the form of whatever higher power you believe in. It does this to see if you confess to your sins on your own.
I believe in something similar where there is heaven and reincarnation you can chose either at death even after you go to heaven with everyone loved ones ancestors etc and get bored in 1000 years or feel like you want to right wrongs you've done over and over again you can get reincarnated but memories erased but sometimes the memory erasure isn't absolute and strong memories and things like that can give flashback familiarities and such like people that swear they've lived past lives
i believe that when death occurs you choose between trying again (reincarnation), watching over the earth (ghosts), leveling up to a more advanced universe, or just living eternity at peace (Nirvana).
i personally believe that whatever your belief is whether religious or secular, that’s what your afterlife will be (so basically all afterlives exist it’s just whichever one you believe in)
@@halcyon.x damn I believe that too but recarnation seems most logical u may be from western country so ppl there are Christians and Islamic so they totally deny this concept mainly they do this cuz they wanna see their dead relatives back so they think recarnation is shit well u do see ur dead relatives in our its called prithvi lok where u meet ur dead relatives and spend time together as souls get reborn in groups if you’ll see near dead experience they all come close to this description and more than half have past lives experiences in other places in world like india Africa japan thailand and many more this thing is very common with million of cases and u do get reborn with ur soul grp for ex ur father in this life could be ur brother in next or something else but still have connection

The scariest thing about nothingness is that you can’t think of anything either so it’s just you in nothingness with no thought, no mind, no emotion, no memories, literally nothing
“you” wouldnt be there as an entity, you would no longer exist. You didnt exist 200 years ago, you would simply be returning to that state of non existence
I have my own personal belief of what happens after death, I believe that we replay life but keep memories, and we can go down different paths in life to see what would happen, kind of like undertale
Simulation Theory has absolutely nothing to do with « after-death », it refers to the theory of we may all be characters in a gigantic Sims-type « game »
My only question for nothingness is that if we forget what happens, or see nothing, then how are we remembering what we’re doing now? Why do we even exist? Logically if you’re going to forget everything, then wouldn’t you already see nothingness? This goes the same with reincarnation. If we can reincarnate (let’s say over and over), wouldn’t we be in an endless loop also not remembering anything? Would reincarnation be something that only happens twice? Or if that person was chosen? I hate honestly having these thoughts, as we can’t comprehend death since we can’t ask the people who have died because they’re well, dead. There’s been people who died and then came back to life telling their experiences but there could be a possibility that they’re lying, and even if they aren’t, it’s not the same as being dead and staying dead.
I know it’s a little late, but I agree with you on the reincarnation point, memory erasure is a complex and confusing topic. However, in defense of nothingness, it’s the erasure of consciousness, that is the better way to put it I suppose. And we are not given back that consciousness, so it isn’t comparable to reincarnation. Which subverts the infinite loop and the memory erasure dilemma. Is there any other questions you have or further clarification?
14:14 actually it's a tad more complicated than this ! Most souls go to the Asphodel Meadows, which are pretty much an empty field. The Elysium are where the worthy (eg. Greek heroes) go. Tartarus is where the Titans and people who commited crimes go and get tortured for eternity (for example : Sisyphus, who killed guests of his castle and considered himself a peer of the gods).
That's the worst afterlife. Imagine you reincarnate as a farm animal that get tortured by industry, or a human who lives very poorly in modern society (or ancient society, i don't think it was better) Or, even worse, we reincarnate as an unknown living being who has a nervous system dysfunction and is in constant pain (yeah, that's unlikely, but we don't know how "reincarnation" randomness is done). If reincarnation could be absolute luck, it cab alsobe absolute suffer. I would prefer nothingness
you can come back as gods and demigods too or in last 4 realms out of 31 realms in buddhism where you no longer have physical but just pure soul/light and you can choose to reborn as human and go back to that realms where you don't enjoy it anymore. but nirvana is the best. it's a state outside of matrix aka 31 realms where cycle of rebirth never end.
In mythology, you don't actually get sent to tartarus. You get sent to the Fields of Punishment, and if you've been neither good or bad, you get sent to the Fields of Asphodel
Getting sent to Elysium wasn’t a matter of being good or anything, you simply had to be a king, hero or have some relation to the gods as long as you’re not hated by the gods like Sisyphus was
Purgatory is the second scariest if I had to say. You were in between and you could’ve been sent to hell but it was like you avoided the dodgeball that would’ve sent you to hell. But also you were struck out a bunch too so basically it would be like a player spared you in a game.
it's so comfy and uncomfortable at the same time, if you end your game and just chillilly pick your next one, the game could be terrifying, but it's totally safe here
i love the moksha part because it like getting the ultimate true ending it like u got the felling that u 100% the life after trying to beat the finnal boss pain

@@Dream99972From my understanding in Moksha you simply merge into the ultimate reality that is Bhraman basically you become part of God(in actually God is not a proper word to try to describe Bhraman)
I’d take anything besides nothingness tbh, the thought of never getting to experience anything ever again terrifies me to my core, knowing that one day I’ll just shut my eyes only for them to never open again for the rest of eternity sucks and the worst part is that it’s the most likely theory according to science
I kinda believe in your same believe but i believe that people who hurt other people just won't get anything and will be stuck in the void suffering forever Xd
I realized that the nothingness might be the most possible thing to happen after death when I was around 7 years old. It broke me, literally, I barely manage to go to sleep without fear of not waking up, I can't travel without thoughts that my brain will turn off. It is scary. It is horrifying. It's goddamn terrifying me for seven years straight. I somehow manage to calm myself down with thoughts: "When I die I'll become a merchant in another universe!" and I can breathe again. With this video I've got more options and variables to think of what will happen after death and I'm truly grateful
For me, it's the opposite. I have apeirophobia which is the fear of eternal life after death. I dread the thought of eternal life and sometimes it makes me lose hope and go lie down on the bed . The only way I feel better is when I think about the possibility of nothingness after death.
I know this is very dumb, but you need to accept it. I know it's hard, but you can't get around death. You won't even experience nothingness, because there is nothing to experience. And we don't even know what happens after death. We just say nothingness is the most likely scenario. I believe there must be something after death.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't parallel universe theory where you believe that technically you won't ever die because in another universe you're still alive.
i mean yes and no. everything would end up dying and living. your conciousness RN at your death could be transporeted who knows where at who know what time. so yeah technicly what you define as you would stay alive but you really aren't you anymore
ion really get why most of y'all think that nothingness is worse. just IMAGINE how u felt back when u are not born yet. ik u can't remember shi, but that's the point.
Every once in a while I’ll be laying in bed at night and start thinking about the concept of nothingness. Eventually I start spiraling into horror thinking that I might have to lay in darkness for eternity, but then I remember my theories and that gets me relaxed.
They're not the same, I think purgatory is earning heaven through work and the typical heaven/hell thing is going to heaven by grace. But I'm not exactly sure, this guy is very vague.

Most people here are scared of nothingness, but nothingness is the one that brings me the most comfort. If you die and you get nothingness, that's not an experience. You wouldn't be there to witness it. People seem to think of nothingness as just being left alone with your thoughts in a dark void, but if you could have thoughts it wouldn't be much of a nothingness to begin with. You don't experience it, because you quite literally no longer exist. Nothing to dread anymore, nothing to cherish anymore. Because you are in a state incapable of fear or cherishment. A perfect nothing. That is a reality i would choose to be in for eternity above all else.

I also like the idea that life itself is just part of the dream world, and wherever you decide to stay in the dream world is your new life.

4:55 - actually Christians believe that you go to Heaven if you put your faith in Jesus Christ, trusting in His work on the Cross, to die and pay for your sins. So basically Jesus is the only one capable/worthy to clean us up so we can enter Heaven for eternity. If not (that is if you don’t put your faith in Jesus) you go to hell to pay for your sins on your own in eternity 🤍🤍 Also the devil won’t be torturing anyone in hell lol, he will be burning with everyone else 🤍

Its makes me wonder what stories can be told to those people who had a near-death experience, people who are in coma and wakes up, or people whose heart stops (flat-lined) beating and after few cpr, they recovered and lived. Also those people who are declared dead and after few hours they revived somehow and lived.
I find the concept of death scary i believe in heaven and hell, but i dont like the concept of eternity. I believe in reincarnation and parallel universes at the same time (including Transcendence, ancestral spirit world, ghost and spirits, purgatory, replay, and dream theory) so let me explain a NEW after life theory that I made! That theory indicates that we all have unlimited amount of lives When your born in the first life, you maintain some of the similar traits of your mother/father, sometimes those traits are shared from grandparents to ancestors as you grow older and older, you may or may not get anything you wished and want, when you die you'll transcend to the realm where you spectate the whole life you made and also learn every mistake you made, your just a soul learning through experience, and during that, your soul will split into 4 souls similar to yours and when you reborn your a completely new person, a person you shouldve become before, but in a completely different universe and year your now born in Your other 3 souls will go to different parallel universes that are sometimes your dream life you want to live but you can't but someday sometimes your traits are recycled and are shown in a new life your living, and when you die again, the cycle just repeats, meaning that your connected to everyone and everything at once, and some people and animals you see are just you in a different universe and some people and animals are new souls And at whatever life your at, when you die, you might wake up as a little kid again, a sign of a restart for the cycles of birth, death, and rebirth But remember, there IS life after death, a life cycle just seemed to repeat in Different ways And despite everything you been through, its still you♡♡ (Okay I actually tear up writing this down and I'm gonna call it 'the alternative cycles' theory, and remember, you are loved

I have actually experienced a glitch. It was like there was a pot. And after I lifted the pot up, there was a white butterfly or random white butterfly. It’s like it was a glitch.
Not true, our entire existence seems to be most logically dualistic. Even science has been evident that there’s such thing as a soul, which has little control over our brain. All of our thoughts are physical, controlled by millions of neurons. So it is made of energy. So the most likely we are reincarnated, since energy cannot be created nor destroyed.
4:53 no we believe that we cannot go to heaven by our own works because we have all fallen short of it because of sin. But Jesus (who is God) died for our sins and resurrected so we can have eternal life if we put our faith in gim
Very well said! A good way to put it (correct me if I'm wrong) is that we earn our salvation by repenting and confessing our sins to God/Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth doesn't want us to die with any sins, but if we ask for forgiveness, we won't have any sins, which grants us with the access to Heaven when we die.

I believe in nothingness as well, to be honest there is nothing to be scared of. You will not know you died, you wil just stop existing, besically sleeping without dreaming, it's the most comforting and accurate ending.
I think dying in general shouldn't be scary but dying early can be from disease or other forms of physical trauma. I've learned that dying from old age is generally comforting as the best way to go because from others experiences it's almost painless and just like falling asleep. Also fearing what comes after death is normal for the brain as it is made to do anything in its power to keep itself alive. After death there is no more of that worry or pain that are only caused by synapses in the first place

That's not what nothingness is
You wouldn't be able to see or think either
You'd experience the same thing you would've experienced before you where born
Nothing
What's scary is that that happens during the 9 months in the womb so what says that can't happen for eternity after u die
But u dont experience something if u never existed beforehand@Leefbones

"Nothingness" has made me feel a fear I'd never known until about two (2) years ago. What makes it worse is realizing you CANNOT avoid it.
I thought of this concept when I was 6, never knew it was recognized
@@barenbloke8019 Its sonehow illogical
Logical and scary
In fact every after life sounds scary to me
Every political opinion, every achievement, every object, sentiment, and historical event will seem to have lost meaning when there was no meaning to it ever. Never ever. Never was, never will be. I wish people were more atheistic so they'd actually know there are consequences to their actions.
Nothingness is the only thing which needs no proof for its' existence.
Every situation, life, universe, something, anything is just another form of nothingness. Imagine likes this:
0=0 but also
3 -3 = 0 or
4 - 9 + 5 = 5×5 - 25
..
Therefore -> Everything MUST exist. And the possibilities are infinte. This is truely scary.
I believe in a very similar version of parallel universe theory. Except, you get to choose. Your options go as follows:
Face judgement
Or
Pick a universe and live again
The ‘judgement’ I mention is basically the place where you get to test your soul, like the underworld journey.

Yeah that what im thinking too, i think hell is more worst than nothingness
I know it’s a little late, but I agree with you on the reincarnation point, memory erasure is a complex and confusing topic. However, in defense of nothingness, it’s the erasure of consciousness, that is the better way to put it I suppose. And we are not given back that consciousness, so it isn’t comparable to reincarnation. Which subverts the infinite loop and the memory erasure dilemma. Is there any other questions you have or further clarification?

You should accept the fact that you will see nothing, even like that, are you really missing out on something?
I know this is very dumb, but you need to accept it. I know it's hard, but you can't get around death. You won't even experience nothingness, because there is nothing to experience. I believe in reincarnation and parallel universes at the same time (including Transcendence, ancestral spirit world, ghost and spirits, purgatory, replay, and dream theory) so let me explain a NEW after life theory that I made!
That theory indicates that we all have unlimited amount of lives
When your born in the first life, you maintain some of the similar traits of your mother/father, sometimes those traits are shared from grandparents to ancestors
as you grow older and older, you may or may not get anything you wished and want,
when you die you'll transcend to the realm where you spectate the whole life you made and also learn every mistake you made, your just a soul learning through experience, and during that, your soul will split into 4 souls similar to yours
and when you reborn your a completely new person, a person you shouldve become before, but in a completely different universe and year your now born in
Your other 3 souls will go to different parallel universes that are sometimes your dream life you want to live but you can't but someday
sometimes your traits are recycled and are shown in a new life your living, and when you die again, the cycle just repeats, meaning that your connected to everyone and everything at once, and some people and animals you see are just you in a different universe and some people and animals are new souls
And at whatever life your at, when you die, you might wake up as a little kid again, a sign of a restart for the cycles of birth, death, and rebirth
But remember, there IS life after death, a life cycle just seemed to repeat in Different ways
And despite everything you been through, its still you♡♡
(Okay I actually tear up writing this down and I'm gonna call it 'the alternative cycles' theory, and remember, you are loved

"Despite everything, it's still you!"

Ironically, I got a praying app ad before this 😂
Wow! id love to see more more of this!
4:25 does this mean if you had schizophrenia in your past life you might come back as a chihuahua
Probably
I wonder how people find nothingness comforting, it seems so sad, it's like you're stuck in the void and can't do anything, just as if it was hopeless
We don't really know what happens after death, that's why we make the best of our lives and make them meaningful and purposeful cause there could be no do over.
you won't feel stuck you won't miss anyone and cuz you can't feel anything not even feeling the nothingness thats makes it comforting
@@Hanvvn it's not even close to comforting. It's legit the only fear I have
@@jordandennis6794 But thats the point, you dont experience it. Do you remember the space inbetween dreams? You experience that everytime you sleep, its the closest to nothingness you can get, and its just 'not being aware'. Complete neutrality. This includes having fear, it just isn't. And so, theres nothing to fear about nothingness while still alive.
@@jordandennis6794 but you've experienced it already before you were born.
I have actually experienced a glitch. It was like there was a pot. And after I lifted the pot up, there was a white butterfly or random white butterfly. It’s like it was a glitch.
It's scares me how in all of these theories, the most possible afterlife world is nothingness.
"Nothingness like finally getting that great nap you were craving since kindergarten"
Who the hell wants to die in kindergarten?
3:08 Is that Adolf Hitler
Yes
JESUS CHRIST
Purgatory basically guarantees heaven, just have to wait a bit
Not necessarily. If you are unable to improve the state of your soul you’ll still be cast into the lake of fire after judgement
@@DeadInside-ew8qb you can’t be like timeset or whatever though because time doesn’t exist after death.
@@zapatafilmz19 them why would an “eternity” in Hell even matter?
Simulator can be also us but in the future or another world or universe where we live as another person
"Let's imagine that life is a giant game of Monopoly."
Wait... It's NOT?
Nothingness is what I believe but it’s so terrifying to think about and you can’t stop it which makes me cry because I can’t stop it and it’s just so scary.
