I agree and wish they had kept him on longer with her or found someone else like him for her. I was never a fan of Whitley and Dwayne as a couple. The chemistry wasn't sufficient for me. I always looked away when they kissed. I didn't care about their wedding. I like Dwayne as a character but not as a romantic match for Whitley.
