Great reaction to SOS. This is what Dimash's voice does to many of us! There seems to be some misinformation in the comments. Dimash Kudaibergen is a 23 year old singer and musician from Kazakhstan. He is of Kazakh origin, and is bilingual in Kazakh and Russian. He sings in at least 8 languages, and has a vocal range of around 5 octaves or more (very rare, especially for a male singer). He was born into a family of musicians and his parents are singers. Dimash's first major international victory was when he won the Slavianski Bazaar in 2015. Then this year he competed in China's The Singer, a high profile singing competition, and his competitors were already famous in China. Dimash instantly became popular and is a superstar in China now, having won 4 major music awards so far. As for The Singer, he came in second, and won 3 episodes, SOS, Opera 2 and Adagio. He also killed it with his covers of The Show Must Go On, All By Myself, Cofessa/Diva Dance, Autumn Song, and... his own song Unforgettable Day, and last but not least, a traditional Kazakh song called Daididau. It was Dimash's dream to introduce this Kazakh song to the world, and he did it. Dimash has got to be one of the best singers I've heard in a long time. I don't know what he was singing about because I don't understand French but it was beautiful. Dimash has got to be one of the best singers I've heard in a long time. I don't know what he was singing about because I don't understand French but it was beautiful. He drew me in, touched my heart and made me cry. Only a great Singer can do that and he's great.I would love to hear this song in English. I would like to go to one of his concerts so Dimash if you're ever in America and in the state of Georgia I will definitely be there. And as always you guys do great reactions I loved it

Dimash has an impact on everybody because he sings through heart and soul. Not sure that it's even him who is singing.... Probably the higher powers trying to talk to us through by his voice..They say - there's no enemies, there's only love, kindness and compassion, we are all one nation -- the humans on this Earth..That's how I hear it.) I hear it the same way as you, Aintisar,, with the exception that it is Dimash singing. He is an extremely kind and caring, wonderful human being; he must have a living and thriving relationship with God (which I call true religion). I feel that I'm obliged to quote what Dimash said (among many other things) in one of his many interviews: "Many people ask me how wide is my vocal range. How many octaves? Five or six octaves? Possibly wider than six octaves. It’s not important to me. I do not think it is important to me. I do not think it is important to the audience either. Singer succeeds with the song. To succeed as a singer is his pursuit of music and his inner emotions. Neither bass nor treble is important. The most important thing is to sing beautifully."
