Excellent! Your first impressions show why Adventure motorbikes are quickly becoming the new Touring bike. Thank you, Marc! I will be happily watching your tour on this new ride! SS
Welcome to the World of the mid sized adventure bikes. Quite different from any classic style bike. Luckily it seems that I have one of everything. The luck started when the wife didn't work out and had to be traded in for something more faithful.--" more reliable" LOL. 👍👍
Solid review, been enjoying my Transalp the past few months. Great analogy to a swiss army knife. This is exactly what I thought, very good on road with decent off road capabilities. The head light is my only major complaint, they are very dim. Air filter replacement process can be a pain, luckily it is needed very often unless you ride and in dusty conditions often.
I believe the suspension is a good reason for adventure bikes! But to me, the height of the seat feel intimidating. For my countryside riding, where I often have to make u-turns on very narrow roads, I prefer a lower seating hight. I have found a good compromise for now with the new Moto Guzzi V7 with longer suspension travel and extremely soft fork, withan 18" front wheel. It's not a racer, but it swallows nasty bumps with ease, and is as easy as a bicycle to manouver, both riding and pushing. The V85 could be an option if I would want more capacity... but for now I am definitely adequately equipped!
how tall are you?with this high screen and this wind deflector,do you have decent wind protection?how is the wind noise?and the buffeting?lets say over 120-130
The Zontes is very good for traveling, easy handling good range. The Honda is more comfortable on bad roads. Transportation of luggage is good on both.
Thanks for your video! How does the Honda taller windscreen works? I’ve seen that you have installed also the Puig touring too, big difference? I’m 180cm tall, undecided between the two… any advice from you who have tried both? Thanks
Have a safe ride with RAIN ✌
Thanks Curtis 🤙

😂😂👍👍
Think 750 is a perfect sized engine, plenty of power, nice weight not too heavy, it’s got all you need for making progress on the roads.
Great adventure bike, I like the black design.

You are right concerning the headlight and the air filter. I mountain some additional LED fog lights.
👍👍👍 enjoy your Transalp
Thanks ✌

I am 188 cm tall. the wind protection with the tall windscreen and the extension is very goo, very small buffeting and wind noise.

Hi Marc, can you tell me what instrument (most probably thermometer) you added to your dash on the right side? Are you happy with it?
Hi, yes, it‘s a thermometer from Amazon, works fine.
How do you compare advanture bike with something like zontes 350e for traveling? What do you prefere and why?
The Zontes is very good for traveling, easy handling good range. The Honda is more comfortable on bad roads. Transportation of luggage is good on both.

The hight of the Honda touring windscreen and the Puig one is nearly the same, just the shape is different.
Good Video
