Just wanted to comment that this is the exact wiring for the 2018 4Runner Off Road. Saved my bacon because the constant power and ground on this had unit is not yellow and black. It's actually light blue and brown as seen at .56 seconds in.
What bolt size did u use for that ground spot? And also do u have any static or hum or any noise running the battery power cable next to the RCA cable?
Any idea if the wiring is the same for a 2014 4Runner with factory Navigation? I noticed the title shows 2015+ but thought they may be similar or the same being both 5th gen.
I don't know if you see this or answer questions, but on the connector with the remote. Can you tell me which is power and ground? Trying to run a switch with it.
You want to run a switch to your amplifier? Or your whole radio system? The remote wire only sends a signal to turn the amp on its not a power neither ground wire
I adjusted my gain and sub to its best ability to where I wouldn’t need to adjust gain post install, and would use the bass knob to add or remove bass.
10/10 ⭐️ Very resourceful video! The tiny grey remote wire was just what we needed! Thanks bro!
Happy to help !
Just quick shout out. Your loc part of the video was bang on. Complete pain in the ass but I couldn't have done it without this video. So mad props!
Glad to help !

I've been thinking about putting my system in my 5th gen but I'd hate to use up all my cargo space.
Skar sells a box that fits great
Perfect install
