One time I fell off a cliff and forgot to get on braviary and took a bit of fall damage. I landed next to a chansey, they usually run from you, but since I was hurt it came next to me, to check if I was alright. I think things like these made this my favorite pokemon game.
i love how when you feed some pokémon they just follow you around for a bit. it’s like when you feed a stray cat or a duck and now it trusts you and wants more
There are so many little things like this in Arceus that make it one of my favorites, from the dex to how if you actually learn about the pokemon it makes it easier to find them, to how pokemon keep their sizes when caught and can be bigger or heavier, there's just so much that's just SO GOOD. And it blows me away because the Dex itself, the pokemon that made the cut TO THIS GAME, is not really a roster of my favorites. It was one of my big worries coming in, that there wouldn't be a lot of interesting pokemon besides the new ones for me to catch, I was so happy to be wrong.
I kinda wish I never gave my copy to my neice, lol. The game slowly got tedious because I had to catch all these Pokemon, and starting a battle felt more tedious than actually trying to catch them unnoticed. The battles were stupidly easy, and I had to constantly change my team to stop overlevelling from all the catches. The levels felt meaningless.
@@GamersXnostalgia yeah the idea is you're supposed to constantly swap out team members to help fill out the dex, it's still a lot of EXP getting thrown at you but wow it saves hours of would be grinding
On my first playthrough of the game all of my Pokémon got wiped out by that Rapidash. After my starter went down, I was like “Damn, I guess this means I’ll be back at the camp to try again now, huh?” That didn’t happen. Instead, the battle interface simply went away and left me without Pokémon right in front of that giant Rapidash as it readied a flamethrower. “…Oh.” That’s when I realized this game would be completely different, and I’m all for it.
This was the first game where the idea that you needed a Pokémon to protect you before you could leave town actually a real concern. Also the fact that you work as a field researcher makes the pokedex feel a lot more interesting. The story details that everyone is terrified of Pokémon is really nice. The mechanics blew me away. Legitimately the best Pokémon game I've ever played.
I never really thought about it, but the very fact that in this game you're EXPLICITLY part of the survey Corp and are specifically assigned to research and catching pokemon makes the actual aspect of wanting to catch them all and complete the dex so much more rewarding. I never thought about it until you mentioned it.
I never felt the need to complete the dex in any game, not even the earlier ones... until legends arceus haha. The field research aspect was a huge part of that!
@@skelly1555 Id say other pokemon games catching all the pokemon feels like work, but in pla it feels like a chore. At least once you get down to the last few hardest ones.
I know SV are literally about to come out in a manner of hours, but I can’t wait for the next “Legends” title. Easily my favorite entry in the franchise
@@zzeroara9511 Oh man, getting to play the moment Kyurem arrives, and the legend of the two brothers... and maybe even getting to see Kyurem as the complete dragon???!
@@Draezeth or a Legends: Celebi game where Celebi send you even further back in time to Johto thousands years in the past to see the death and rebirth of the Legendary Dog Trio in the Burnt Tower, to witness the creation of the Sinjoh Ruins and to search the existence of the ancient people that created those ruins yet disappeared without a trace in Legends: Arceus?
Legend kalos is just gonna be a dynasty warriors game, where you kill people and Pokémon. That makes you solely responsible for all the graves that spanned all the way from one city to geosenge town.
I really hope we get a legends game for Johto. Even as a kid playing Gold, Johto felt so ancient and I would love to have Celebi take us back to explore ancient Johto.
Something cool that Arlo didn't mention is how wild Pokemon turn their heads to focus on things. It was so cool when an alpha Snorlax knocked out my pokemon, then whipped his head around and stared me down while I chose my next pokemon. Intimidating and so cool
This is going to sound so weird but I love to hear people genuinely happy and rambling about their interest that has made them that happy. Especially if that person has also gone through rough times on occasion. Not going to lie, I teared up a little
It's not weird at all. In a world where people seem to complain and be more interested in hearing negativity it's refreshing to hear people have more positive, upbeat attitudes and talk about the things they appreciate sometimes.
Arlo is enjoyable, but theres a lot of moments during the video where im like, "okay, that is a good change, or that is a good feature.... but you totally skip over the issues with it." Like for instance, praising the battle changes, without mentioning that its complete chaos when the turn order is a complete mystery because it only shows the turn order based on your own actions and not that of your opponent, making any kind of strategy/planning a dice roll (probably why they didnt include PVP).
This game made me really feel the wonder of pokemon like I haven't in a long time. Everything clicked for me, the gameplay loop, the wild atmosphere the focus on catching... I loved it. I really hope we get more legends games in the future because... well... the main games are fine, scarlet and violet seem alright... but I really want more of exactly what legends was just build upon.
I feel the same. I walked into Arceus thinking I wouldn't like it at all, and it's by far my favorite Pokemon game. On the other hand, I thought I'd love S/V and its just boring me to death so far. I am honestly thinking about just starting a new Arceus save. I played that game for countless hours, and I can't even play Violet for 2 hours without needing a break due to boredom. The story is meh, whereas Arceus had an amazing story for a Pokemon game.
Another thing (which might be minor for most people) I like about PLA is that it is a single game, instead of two versions. Well, two versions would still be the norm for the introductory new gen games (as demonstrated by S/V), but at least with future installments of Legends games, we can realistically expect just one game.
the combat in Legends Arceus is so good, the movement and the fact that Pokemon actually approach each other with attacks changes so much in perception. The whole game is my favorite pokemon game since generation 2, ultimate pokemon anime fantasy
@@robjapan no, of course you exaggerate, I mean the combat is good by pokemon standards in terms of immersion. Your argument applies to every installment in the series, and here you have: no popups with the obvious every sec, the speed of combat, the fact that the pokemon actually perform their attacks right next to the opponent, new animations (e.g. Luxray got great one), free walking during the fight, you can just leave the fight at any time without having to click any button, confirm, move back to the map. All this greatly affects the flow of the game and the pleasure of playing
Arlo has given me the confidence to say that, I too am a grown adult (if you count 25 as full grown) that pretends to be a trainer at any given moment. Thank you for making me feel not alone or crazy.
I think the most interesting thing was how it managed to give you a new perspective on certain Pokemon that didn't really have any personality previously. Example: Paras and Parasect
Another good part of this game is that with a smaller cast, they can feel more alive. They aren't all relegated to a single stock personality type like other games. My favorite moment in the game was at the end where they said a strong trainer wanted to fight me. I was expecting a random character to show up like the Lucario guy, but they had me walk towards the gate where no one was waiting. As I got closer my excitement grew, realizing who they were implying. And to fight him with the pokemon he had was so funny and fitting for his role that he became one of my favorite characters. And from a worldbuilding perspective it makes so much sense to be him.
For the first time NPCs have actual names and development.. literally the music evolves along with the town because of the player It had so many mystery dungeon vibes which is something that I adore How everyone turned their backs to the player so quickly apart from Rei/Akari, the professor (he is so amazing) and Cylene The player is left by themselves though along with their own Pokemon And the moment with Shinx just coming to check on the player.. it was so amazing
The oneley thing I had getting used too was the boss fighting mechanic. I saw some videos and knew this wasn't just send out pokemon and battle. The actuall physics of dodging and such is quite diferent for pokemon and even when I was exspecting that it's a new feature to learn. I got knocked out by kleavor thre times before I cleared it. It hasn't made me pute the game down but it will take some time to get used too. Even if this game disapoints me in some areas I look foward to when I can transfer arceus mons to scarlet and violet with home.
@@TheOmegazerox I had to get used to that too. I think I died once during my first time against Kleavor, but for most of it I was hiding terrified behind the gigantic tree, wondering wtf was happening and wtf I was supposed to do. I didn’t even really know how dodging worked at that point! Edit: actually, I think I did die multiple times. But I still hid behind the tree like a coward. And it took me like 15 minutes.
The story has never really been that good in Pokémon games outside of Black and White, but this game has made me want to know more about Team Galactic’s backstory. How did they go from a research group filled with nice people to an evil team with a boss that wants to create a new world? I want to see these gaps filled in somehow and if that’s done with Legends Arceus sequels, I’m all for it
@@JGr2000Let's been honest, we always knew Rose was gonna be the villain, and Team Yell wasn't a very convincing ploy to get us to think they were the villains.
Team star and team galactic should be related since there seems to be a theme of time travel happening but will any of this be satisfying or just hinted at since it's a kids game
@Logan McGlynn black and white don't even have a good story for a pokemon game. All pokemon stories are basic and none of them are very good. Sword/shield have the worst one, but the rest of them are all about equally ok. By the point of Diamond and Pearl, the story of gyms and an evil team had become boring.
I'll be honest, getting a recollection of all Arceus's wonderous technical advancements that elevated the Pokemon experience is probably not the best way of spending my time just a few hours before Scarlet and Violet come out missing 90% of those features lol, but it's nice to see someone else appreciated and valued them, and hope these words will inspire the freaks to reach those same heights in later mailine entries. Nice vid, Arlo. :)
You can still hide in the grass and sneak up to a Pokémon to throw your Pokémon at it and catch it of guard to make the first turn. You also can jump of high places
@@Saroku1000 Technically yes you can still crouch and sneak up behind, yes, but I am more meaning the way it is in Arceus. If the gameplay from Arceus was taken and put inside this game, it would be much better. Being able to throw a ball how/where you want by aiming, catching from the overworld, *Actual* sneaking around like it is in Arceus, etc.
scarlet and violet are a massive step down compared to legends and i got extremely bored and underwhelmed. i'm 4 hours in and i might just stop playing because i'm having no fun
I miss that you can't take damage from the overworls Pokémon. That was so much fun. getting ganged up and attacked and you had to actively dodge, made me really feel excited from playing it. 😔
What I like about the side quests are the Pokémon that start living in town, in 90% of the quests you can even give them an alpha, e.g. Buizel, Petilil (only house though), Croagunk, unforunately not the Wurmple from the first quest, but a shiny works too, also the harvesting field quests (where you can switch out the Pokémon whenever, so these are more like a gallery)
It took so long, but finally we got a game where you're goal is actually the Pokedex. Your a researcher and exploring the mythology of a region, add more trainer battles and this is a perfect formula for revisiting regions when their time comes.
Very disappointing that violet and scarlet didn’t follow what arceus did cause what we had was truly refreshing and for them to go back to how it’s always been after playing arceus is just kinda…..meh
I'm just hoping it's because they were developed at the same time by different teams. I mean, the pokemon switching in LA would've been PERFECT for auto-battling in SV. Maybe the next game, if not, then gen 10 will build properly off of LA.
Legends Arceus should be the baseline for all pokemon games going forward. All they had to do was take that core and drop the usual pokemon formula into it, but of course, in classic gamefreak fashion, we get a trainwreck of a game.
One thing that I love is how even if you have a Pokémon that’s 20 levels higher than your opposing alpha Pokémon, that alpha is always somehow able to string together a combo using the strong and agile styles to instantly knock out my overleveled Pokémon. This was great since I never felt like I was just sweeping through the game with my overleveled Samurott
it took me FOREVER to successfully take on that alpha snorlax, it felt so good to finally best it. it never really felt frustrating because it was also fun running around trying to catch it and dodging 😭
Breeding not being in the game actually works really well for the "gotta catch em all" thing the game has going on (being like the original Red/Blue). If you catch a Raichu, you can't just go and make a quick Pichu egg. No, you have to go and search for a Pichu, which are quite rare. There really isn't a need for breeding in the game anyway since the hidden stats are gone,
@@zzeroara9511 imo it’s not needed, the fact that you can boost your shiny odds much easier through outbreaks and such means your shiny chances are highly elevated. i’ve found so many shinies in PLA, and never massifs no matter how hard i try 💀
Breeding actually would have been good for manipulating natures and getting rarer Pokemon more easily. Classic Pokemon is just way better because you could customize your stats however you want and making stats detrimental actually had benefits such as lowered confusion damage, trick room, and guard split, now it's just basic as crap. Even in previous Pokemon games you didn't have to worry about stats casually so I don't see how it's such a good thing for it to change.
I am very happy to see hidden stats gone, but can we please have held items back in Z-A? It's strategic but easily understood and would give the combat the one last layer it needed.
I remember as a kid how exciting the idea of a home console Pokemon game was. Seeing a big world with Pokemon walking around chasing you with a bigger story than ever before. Legends Arcues feels like the first step toward that idea but it's sad to hear that Scarlet and Violet took a step back. By the time we get a Pokemon game that feels like a true home console experience, I feel like the hype will be completely replaced with "it took them long enough"
Yea. There's already a lot of other open world JRPG's that beat them to it. Ni No Kuni, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter etc. But there's still that Nintendo Pokemon "Charm" thats kinda unique
when pokemon stadium was announced, before we really knew anything about it (& i believe it was just being referred to as pokemon64) i was hopeful it would be an experience like PLA. i was pretty disappointed it was just a game for battling for a little bit. of course, i enjoyed that game when i did get to play it. but yeah, PLA has just been a long time coming
I am so glad you enjoyed the games as much as I did, and it looks like a lot of people did as well! Hopefully, the pokemon company sees how much we liked these games and make another Legends game in the future.
@@andromedasgarden I really believe that the references to other regions (Like Alola and unova) and the fact that in the trailer it has two more other colored Pokedex like books that we don't get in the game implies that we are going to get sooner or later more legends games!
They won't add what's better in Legends in the mainline series. Cause now they have another Pokemon game that they can spew out yearly and sell to their loyal fans.
As someone who doesn't even play Pokemon anymore, this in-depth review of Legends Arceus has confirmed what I've heard about this game. This is a proper evolution of the series and what Pokemon console releases should have been in the first place. If polished and iterated on the Legends style could absolutely get people like me back into the series. So if Gamefreak doesn't follow-up after this one, than I don't know what's wrong with them, because this game sounds exactly like what a lot of people have wanted from Pokemon for years and years. Here's hoping this becomes its own long-running series so more fans can get what they want.
Glad this didn't follow up, this game was rather boring compared to classic Pokemon. The lack of turn based complexity didn't bother me though, no, it was actually just how broken catching them was. Still I'm happy we got it just to show up botw on how to make an actual proper and convenient open world game.
I love that they’re not afraid of adding new Pokémon like Kleavor and Ursaluna in side games anymore. Really shows that TPC is allowing their developers to be more creative
Interestingly, I'm pretty sure I've heard this is considered a main line game by game freak! I wish they'd done a better job of getting that across if so though
Some people don't like their designs but I personally find them both very charming in their own ways. Either way, its good that people are divided about them as it shows Game Freak is not playing it safe, which is something they're very prone to doing.
For real. If you've seen the leaks of pokemon designs for Scarlet/Violet, you know they put their all into the designs. They are (in my opinion) some of the best Game Freak has ever made
I hope they just incorporate those mechanics into the next generation instead. GF doesn’t really have the resources to work on multiple games, and generations are locked into a 3 year deadline no matter what. S/V has performance issues and while a delay would’ve helped, it also would’ve helped if they didn’t have what few employees they have working on other projects. Especially for their first actual open-world game. Although I’m not against diving in the history of other legendary/mythical Pokémon, but they didn’t really have much info on the Pokémon themselves. It was more about the people and how they worship them as deities. Interesting, but I was expecting a lot more than what they gave, story-wise. The game is titled after Arceus and he’s mostly a quest-giver with little involvement until the end.
One of my favorite moments in Arceus was when I got into it with an Alpha Heracross and he wiped my entire team. It was at this moment, as my team was wiped and I learned that the game DOES NOT WHITE YOU OUT that I began dodging like a madman as this massive stag beetle comes chasing me down a hill, through a valley, that I asked myself, "Wait, can I heal my pokemon and go back in?" Turns out, the answer is yes, AND that pokemon will have THE SAME HEALTH as it did when you left off. So I smoke bombed and hid in that tall grass for a moment, stitched and patched every wound I could, dove back onto that Heracross and caught him in a pitched second battle and/or another retreat and a heavy ball to the skull. But the important part was that first half, and how I will not forget how absolutely cool that was, and how much I want to do that again, in every pokemon game, from now till the end.
I haven't seen them try this hard since pokemon black and white when they almost tried to give the game an actual plot to follow and unova only pokemon to immerse you in the region even more. Legends arceus has been so beautiful that I still play it to this day which can't be said for another pokemon games in my library. Can't wait for Legends ZA to come out.
@@Steven-zb4bd well the two games were in development at the same time so it makes sense that they wouldn’t include something in a main series Pokémon game that they were testing in a “spinoff” game
Tbh i get why there isnt the legends catching mechanics. I feel this mechanic will be reserved for the legends games, mainly because the legends games are meant to be different while main line games should roughly have the same format
@@Steven-zb4bd no, not really. they're developed by two separate teams within gamefreak, meaning the next mainline game will most likely be caught up and have a perfect mix of SV+Arceus's mechanics/improvements/additions.
@@pixelturtle5041 You can choose to not catch that way if you want to. It was a very immersive way of interacting with pokemon. Scarlet and violet is a full blown open world game after the first 3 hours. Catching would have been THRILLING for most.
one small detail i like is how pokemon actually look at each other in the eye when they're battling. really feels like they're there interacting and not just standing there doing cool poses
Huge pokemon fan here, Arceus is easily the best pokemon game I've ever played. If only Scarlet and Violet followed in a lot of the same footsteps, it had so much potential. Great video, I played Arceus like crazy when it came out and watching this is making me want to start a new file again
i really loved being able to walk around during battles. it felt so stupidly fun being able to stand in front of an attack and then have to run away. my brother would try to get all the good angles and act like he's commentating a real battle😭
Legends: Arceus is definitely the game that so many fans have been asking for for years and I'm glad we finally got it as it's such an amazing game. Really can't wait to play Scarlet and Violet tomorrow!
@@Spectarium most people have to wait until midnight, so I would guess OP meant tomorrow… considering, you know, I think HE would know when HE gets to play.
I loved this game so much. It rekindled my love for the series and I truly hope they revisit this series or change the mainline series to be more like it. I feel like scarlett and violet are going to feel like a mixture between arceus and sword & shield.
Nothing can compare to legends Arceus unfortunately.. and so many reviewers just disappointed me because they didn't understand After mystery dungeon and Pokemon ranger, no other games actually had NPCs/ main characters being suspicious of the player The NPCs have names, development , the music itself develops along with the player The player earns respect instead of being put on a pedestal for no reason I really need to see more legends games
But, are you disappointed because of the glitches, or the new entry isn't fun? I am willing to buy Scarlet next year, so the glitches (at least most of them) should be fixed. But if the game is boring, there is no patch that can fix this.
@@Fabio-lq7wb My main gripe is that the game runs terribly. It looks like a gamecube gane but still has horrible performance issues, frame rate drops random momentary freezes, assets popping in and out, npc jittering around, etc. Honestly the animations and art are also incredibly disappointing for a game of this size, there are low res repeating textures just copy pasted and stretched over huge chunks of the terrain. Even if you throw out the performance and art issues, the game itself is underwhelming so far, mainline pokemon badly needs a refresh and a team of people that are actually excited to work on it. This game feels passionless.
@@hoodrat1632 im with you,im gonna buy legends instead and wait to see if scarlet gets patched.i want my 1st open world pokemon game to be good.havwnt played pokemon in years.tried sword but hated it,was just boring.
This is easily the best Pokémon game in years and yes that does include Scarlet. While S&V feel like a slightly improved Sword and Shield, Arceus was a huge improvement on Pokémon games in general.
Legends Arceus is an incredible starting point for a side series imo. This is unlikely to become the norm for the main series, but rather be the start of a new sub series that the main one will possibly take inspiration from. Even if I won’t play any of these Legends games as I cannot play open world games, I would love to see a Legends Celebi, Zekrom, or Zygard later down the line that improves upon the foundations that PLA laid down, even if it means we won’t see things like full fledged crafting systems or catching Pokémon on the field in the mainline games anytime soon.
@@darkozosel9114 I get distracted by side stuff constantly, which I understand that some people do like, but I hate not being able to make progress towards the main story.
The two story moments that hit the hardest for me were when the Town ousted you because they believed you were destroying Time Space, especially as Benji was a massive Bigot and when you find out Volo had been grooming you. Seriously that last one has stuck with me. Legends Arceus wasn't afraid to tell a more mature narrative something I hope we see in future Spin Offs heck even Mainline.
i really hope that Legends: Unova has a similar situation to Volo, but instead it's N's great, great grandfather who's grooming you into helping him form the original dragon. IMAGINE HOW FUCKING COOL THAT WOULD BE.
@@zzeroara9511 While that sounds great on paper, I think it just wouldn't hit the same way unfortunately. With Volo being obviously Cynthia's ancestor we kinda assumed that he was just a good (although a bit odd) guy, which made the reveal much more shocking. Now that we have this experience, if a character like N's ancestor was to approach us and guide us in a similar way, we would start doubting his intentions immediately... It would still be a twist, but much less powerful.
@@darthdand6513 i think that would be fine because I'd want him to be the main antagonist from the start. the player character and the people around you wouldn't know, but you would, so i think it would be fine imo
Oh my gosh manipulation is so dark in a Pokemon game. I guess we're just going to ignore all of the domestic abuse in gen 7. Either way, these stories don't make the games any better.
I'm glad to see the bits that were brought over to Scarlet and Violet, but I am massively disappointed that they didn't bring over the free catching system.
25:56 Dude, the first time I threw my pokemon into battle from atop a rock, I damn near lost my mind. It's such a small detail, but it really makes you feel like you're a real pokemon trainer in the anime.
It’s honestly great hearing Arlo talk about a Pokémon game with such joy and excitement. I’m glad he is finally able to enjoy the series again. It’s also kinda weird that the most positive review I’ve seen for this game comes from Arlo of all people, lol!
Considering Goh got the Galar starters in the anime, I think there was a missed opportunity to have Ash have his Quilava, Rowlet, and Oshawott evolve up to Hisuian Typhlosion, Decidueye, and Samurott.
That would've been a cool way to finally evolve those starters of Ash and showcase the cool designs, but I've long since given up on the anime to do anything interesting.
Finally, somebody that gets it. Every other review I saw for this game all said “ehhh it’s a step in the right direction.” When in my mind, this was everything I dreamed of. It was so immersive. I still remember in the first hour of playing this, I got swarmed by a bunch of Pokémon, making it truly feel like the first episode of Pokémon, when Ash GTA’d Misty’s bike because he was being chased by a gang of spearows. What more could a Pokémon fan want?
@@pichaelthompson gyms, elite 4, new Pokemon(Arceus is just a rehash of Sinnoh mons, we already caught them all) , not dropping evolution items we spent days to find because we got mobbed by overly aggressive Pokemon, not button mashing nonsense(why am I dodging pokemon attacks in a turn based strategy game akin to chess? My main gripe with the game is looking for evolution items is impossible because the pokemon all not let you explore at all. Every single one of them attacks you and you cannot get the item you need. It's fucking annoying because you need to complete the dex to finish the game. And that new genie is bullshit. Way too hard to get. Which is why I hope its released as a gift in Scarlet/Violet. I play these games to catch the Pokemon. That's it. I still dont have Urasluna. Why? Croagunks keep killing me and wont let me find the item. So I stopped playing it. It aint that great.
@@bantuboi3131 hmm I find that fascinating bc I never care to catch all the Pokémon in any of the games. Ursaluna was pretty easy to catch for me, and once I got up to a high enough level, a lot of Pokémon stopped attacking me. I would say anything level 30 and below stopped attacking me. And I just got all my evolution items in those space-time zones (forgot what they were called). For me, I don’t play the games to catch Pokémon, I play to be immersed in the Pokémon world. I wanna be my own version of ash. I do wish there would’ve been an elite 4 or more towns to explore, but it makes sense that there wouldn’t be since this is explaining the genesis of the Pokémon trainer starting in the hisuian region before it was renamed to sinnoh. To me it makes perfect sense why it’s a bunch of sinnoh Pokémon, kind of like dynasty periods in imperial Japan’s history. But what do you mean by “genie”? You mean like landorus and them? I admit they were a challenge to catch, but I enjoyed the challenge. But since it wasn’t common for Pokémon to get along with humans, I think it makes sense why a lot would attack you. Just like how you never try to mess with wild life in their habitat in real life. Idk, I guess we have very different desires when it comes to Pokémon games. And I’m cool with that. From a technical standpoint, I think everyone will agree that LA functions so much better than gen 9 games.
You got it out before SV!! You did it! I was wondering if you were going to get it out before SV and you did. As for Legends, honestly it's easily been the best pokemon switch game yet. I freaking love it. I do hope this actually becomes a series and we can travel to every region in the past, get to witness different moments of history. It's such a great experience that I really want more of it, and I hope we will.
Pokemon Legends Arceus was the first pokemon game since the gameboy days to ACTUALLY make me feel like a pokemon trainer. I love all the gameplay of this game so much. I only hope Scarlet and Violet build on the best aspects
I really hope they develop these Legends games further as its own thing where the mainline games can just be for more general audiences and vgcs but legends games can be a space where devs can experiment and really flesh out the potential of pokemon without the risks of changing too much of the mainline franchise's identity and where players who love the concept of pokemon but not so much the games can actually have a fulfilling game plan experience. .
I really hope so, cos I'm getting pretty annoyed with Scarlet. This way of catching, battling, doing the gyms again, it all reminds me why I stopped playing Pokémon in the first place after Gen 3. It's sooooo boring for every game to be the exact same as the previous one!

I actually feel the same way, even after Scarlet and Violet have come out, Arceus is just to much fun to put down at all. I really love the art style, gameplay and the pokemons there, Hisuian Goodra being my absolute favourite Mon. I think the game is represented by the sentence: "There is beauty in simplicity" and it truely is beautiful, even if the graphics are not that amazing, they are still better than what old games had. Not even Scarlet and Violet could get this thing to drop down in value to me and I love it
Arlo's enthusiasm for the catching/stealth mechanics in this game really mirrors my own. I disliked the way let's go did catching, but arceus just did it perfectly. Between that and the way pokemon react to you, including even being able to attack you directly (especially when it's the scary alpha pokemon lol), it makes the world feel so much more real. I am excited for the open world in scarlet and violet, but without those features from arceus it does kinda feel like a step backwards. I hope they make more arceus style games in the future.
I knew from the moment I saw I could simply walk around during battles that this entry would be special. It's my fav Pokemon game by a margin, followed by Plat & Silver. I haven't finished it cuz I've grown away from turn-based RPGs, but damn I wish this game came out when I was little. It woulda been even more magical
39:00 one of my favorite parts of this game was getting 10 research points on a Pokemon and getting the full description. I never really cared about reading those in the prior games but in this game I feel like I actually earned it so I loved reading them, and there was a ton of great stuff in there so it felt like the devs knew how rewarding it was and brought their A games for the dex descriptions.
my favorite quests are Beuregard's wurmple quest where it let me name it Beaugene, only to come back a couple of main quests later and see that it's evolved into a casscoon, making it a HUGE "he doesn't know chat" moment. My other favorite one was the one where you have to catch up to a spheel thatwas rolling down Mt. Coronet, every single time it stopped, looked at you, and then started rolling off again was hilarious
Arlo is one of the few RUclipsrs I can watch over an hour long review of a game I’m already played. Def the only one who’s doing a more “normal” kind of review, he adds a lot of good background
I genuinely was brought to tears watching this review, because I couldn't agree more with everything you've said. This title was a MASSIVE step forward and was truly a dream come true for me, especially after SWSH and BDSP. It's honestly still shocking to me that this game even exists, yet I couldn't be happier with it. I hope they continue with this formula because boy I do NOT want to go back now.
I was utterly disappointed the catching mechanics did not carry over to Scarlet and Violet. I can't imagine playing a mainline pokemon game without them now.
@@yousafkhan6921 That's one big reason I've stayed away from SV, cause I genuinely think that they should have implemented the mechanics from Legends. It's baffling to see them take a huge step forward and then a huge step back. I know I'll probably get flamed for thinking this (as my friends already have lmao) but idk man it's personally really hard for me to play any other Pokémon game after Legends set my standards so high. Hopefully they'll make Legends a series, cause that we have in that game is phenomenal and I would love to see that formula improved even more.
About time! P:LA is an evolution of the Pokémon franchise not seen since… well… ever. Never before has Pokémon departed from its core formula and experimented this much, and even with the game being somewhat rushed, I can say with confidence that it succeeded. All the mechanics mesh together amazingly into a well-defined experience that is new, yet stays uniquely Pokémon. While this game is certainly not without its faults, it’s an overall good game in a way that a Pokémon game hasn’t been in a long time; in this game, there are more pros than cons rather than the equal-pros-and-cons or worse of the games from the past 3 gens. One of the only truly sad things about this game in my opinion is that it could have been a masterpiece if given another year of development time, but that’s just the story of games developed over at TPC these days and there isn’t much we can do about it other than complain a lot lol
I think the last truly experimental pokemon game was Coloseum and that was mainly because instead of capturing wild pokemon you steal them from other trainers to rescue them, and every battle was a double battle with the bosses using competitive viable strats. (Nothing too broken but facing a rain team even if it didn't spam thunder is still quite the step up from normal pokemon) But PLA is definitely the nost experiment pokemon game yet, and even if im not 100% on everything i love the overall concept and fully support experimentation and hope that we get more legends series. (I also head canon that the player in legends is the player from platinum after they became champion)
I REALLY liked the gimmick in this game of strong or agile style, it felt so natural and needed and i honestly think it should be a core mechanic in every game from now on.
PLA is a combination of mystery dungeons story, breath of the wilds open world, and the visuals of Pokémon. My only critique is that there’s next to no trainer battles in the story and the ones that are have very few pokémon that are likely a bit to way under leveled. I know it could work with the story, trainers are new in this setting, but it’s a place they could’ve shown growth in people and their trust in pokémon by the end of the game.
@@cortster12 The only reason you think pmd has a good story is because it wasn't made by game freak, you're the same clowns who think XD and Colosseum are good in any way.
So with Scarlet and Violet not continuing with the formula of Legends: Arceus, I'm hoping that it will mean that we can get more Legends games in the future. Personally, I think that this is a good thing. Keep the formula unique for a series of partially mainline, partially spinoff games that let us partially explore the lore of previous regions. We can see what the Original Dragon looked like before it split into Kyurem, Zekrom, and Reshiram. We can see the first Darkest Day as Zacian and Zamazenta work to stop Eternatus the first time (just imagine going full Attack on Titan against Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon). We can see the war that caused Ho-Oh to give birth to Raikou, Zekrom, and Suicune. The possibilities are endless.
Satisfying capture mechanic, trade only Pokémon that are able to be obtained without trading, customizable character AND legitimate replay value. While hunting down the unown and spiritomb fragments can get a bit tricky, this game is an absolute gem.
Another cool thing about this game is that there aren't two versions of it. Some people may not agree with me on this, but I really do think that they need to kill that business model.
Absolutely in love with this review. I know that Scarlet and Violet will be different from this game because they were developed at the same time, but Arlo's level of enthusiasm gets me excited to hear what he thinks about the future titles. Maybe they'll give us something along the lines of Legends: Kyurem, or any other legends game, that can push the series even further and iron out the minor issues in Arceus, maybe even make the graphics to par with games like Odyssey and BoTW. I think the future looks really bright for Pokemon and I cannot wait to see what happens next. Thank you for another amazing review Arlo, our bestest of blue fluffy friends
I remembered during the tutorial starly fight I had a geodude start a battle on top of a ledge and had rollout, so the battle just had geodude rolling down a cliff Once during a spacetime distortion I had a wild pokemon and mine on different cliffs, and the battle had both launching beams between both cliffs It's amazing how something so simple as battles that take place in the overworld can lead to such memorable moments
PLA was the first time I actually completed the Dex. I had so much fun in fact that I wanted to complete the Dex in future games as well. I wish there were some tasks you had to complete but hopefully more Legends games in the future add to it
My friend, I’m really impressed by the amount of passion and spontaneity you put into your videos. I wonder if you even script them. I feel like you’re the friend I wish I had to get stuck in traffic with
With you bringing up how few trainer battles there were, it made me realize a great direction a Pokemon game could go. Imagine if in Legends Arceus there had been a gym system, but you weren't forced to just do the gyms
I’m not into Pokémon anymore, but I’m just so happy that Arlo finally finished such an ambitious project! I’m watching this whole thing just for you man 😉
I've had Arceus on the shelf for most of this past year but just haven't touched any video games all year... now that the outdoors are hostile and inhospitable again in the north, this video makes me look forward to it 😅
I've been looking forward to this review for so long!!! Thank you, Arlo!!! ❤️❤️❤️ EDIT: After watching the entire review, I must say you did an amazing job with this review, Arlo! Arceus ended up being my absolute favorite Pokémon game, and your thoughts on the different aspects of the game made me recall all the fun I had with the game. It was an absolute pleasure playing it! Thanks again for putting this review together! Well worth the wait!
I've never played a pokemon game (aside from a brief ten-minute foray into pokemon go), but I've decided to buy Arceus from this review. I'll come back and say if I like it, but even if I don't, huge kudos to you for getting me to try a game/genre I wouldn't normally try! I don't really do that a lot, I'm kind of a stick-to-what-you-know kinda guy, so honestly, thanks!
I liked Arceus more than S/V because it is more stealth based. And even if it looked good, I would prefer Arceus still, because it has a more cell shaded look.
31:50 I wanna add that status effects not only go away after the battle, they also do so during it. And at the same time they can be overwritten by others ( or the same one again which refreshes the timer ).
Beating the surprise bad guy in Arceus, had me SCREECHING with joy! So, that was one of my favorite parts. That and catching Alpha versions of pokemon that are normally tiny, is really awesome. I love having giant eevees, lopunnys, and conversely; tiny sharpedos! Also, moving around during battles, felt so good! I role-played a lot.
This... this is the best review of Legends: Arceus on RUclips! Unlike many other Pokétubers and game reviewers who weren't able to offer any legit criticism beyond the subpar graphics and the fact that it's too different, you pretty much hit every single nail on the head as to why Arceus is such an amazing game and were able to tease out all the thought and consideration the developers put into it. THIS. This is the game that made me come back to Pokémon.
I love how the game lets you discover things. When i discovered how items that knock out a pokemon to allow myself to catch them more easily work. I was near an alpha and wondered if it would work on it. It worked, and the first few balls did not work. But eventually I caught it with a heavy ball. It felt soooooo satisfying!
I especially enjoyed the part of the video that addressed how challenge in a video game adds to the enjoyment. I just remembered how different my Legends Arceus playthrough was from my partner's. They sped through the story unlocking travel options while I hyper focused on stalking Pokémon, exploring every nook and cranny of the area I just unlocked, and grinding out my Dex entries. It took me ages to progress in the story, but I was much more skilled at navigating the distortions because I spent so much time looking for Porygons and Eevees!
He did say he'd get the Legends Arceus review done before scarlet and violet comes out, even if it's a matter of hours. Well done Arlo!
If we get technical, there are places in the world where it's out. But for us, he did it!
I was gonna say the same thing 😂
Arlo's an overachiever
Not for me in Australia. sorry Arlo better luck next time.
👏
Yeah that's very cute. I thought that was only Blissey. But Nice to know Chansey does that to. Don't know if Happny does that thought.
Holy cow, he got it out before Scarlet and Violet didn’t see that coming!
He promised it in his last Pokémon video and I’m so glad he managed to do it.
Miracles do happen!
By about 4 hours!
Not if you’re an Aussie
Maybe we'll get the next review before the next Pokemon game too
On my first playthrough of the game all of my Pokémon got wiped out by that Rapidash. After my starter went down, I was like “Damn, I guess this means I’ll be back at the camp to try again now, huh?”
That didn’t happen. Instead, the battle interface simply went away and left me without Pokémon right in front of that giant Rapidash as it readied a flamethrower.
“…Oh.”
That’s when I realized this game would be completely different, and I’m all for it.
It was at this moment, they knew......they fucked up.
i love arceus
I’m still at the beginning of the game haven’t even crossed the 1st bridge yet and I’m already Star 5 with level 60 Pokémon 😂
Wow, I like that costume! I want to play!
@@oo0024 yup. It's so addictive
Legitimately the best Pokémon game I've ever played.
xanderbogurtso if you wanted to comment something like this go to a bdsp video
I never really thought about it, but the very fact that in this game you're EXPLICITLY part of the survey Corp and are specifically assigned to research and catching pokemon makes the actual aspect of wanting to catch them all and complete the dex so much more rewarding. I never thought about it until you mentioned it.
I never felt the need to complete the dex in any game, not even the earlier ones... until legends arceus haha. The field research aspect was a huge part of that!
The first pokemon game I actually wanted to spend the time to *really* catch them all
Definitely. I had completed the dex of SuMo, but in PL:A it was so much more fun and just catching the Pokémon was fun in of itself
SWSH
I disagree.
I’ve caught them all in every game. I agree that PLA is the first game where it never feels like work 😭😭
@@skelly1555 Id say other pokemon games catching all the pokemon feels like work, but in pla it feels like a chore. At least once you get down to the last few hardest ones.
I know SV are literally about to come out in a manner of hours, but I can’t wait for the next “Legends” title.
Easily my favorite entry in the franchise
I really, really, REALLY hope the next legends game is set in Unova.
Legends Celebi would be sooo dope

"Acquiring target."
"Run, i dare you"
Yesss! When I first noticed that I seriously thought he was gonna have my head if I didn't play my cards right or left him tf alone. 😂
This is going to sound so weird but I love to hear people genuinely happy and rambling about their interest that has made them that happy.
Especially if that person has also gone through rough times on occasion.
Not going to lie, I teared up a little
It is a great thing to hear and see. I got loosely similar feels to his reaction to Pikmin 4's announcement. "It will?"
It's really a beautiful moment. The joy is contagious!
This isn't weird, people say this all the time.
Scarlet and Violet are just releasing, and Arlo drops an hour on the last game on us. What an absolute based move! :)
Oh how the turns have tabled. Now WE are the ones hiding in the tall grass catching the pokemon by surprise
The combat is good?? You either one shot them or they one shot you....
There's nothing good about the combat at all
@@robjapan For me that is good combat, as it is quick
@@robjapan no, of course you exaggerate, I mean the combat is good by pokemon standards in terms of immersion. Your argument applies to every installment in the series, and here you have: no popups with the obvious every sec, the speed of combat, the fact that the pokemon actually perform their attacks right next to the opponent, new animations (e.g. Luxray got great one), free walking during the fight, you can just leave the fight at any time without having to click any button, confirm, move back to the map. All this greatly affects the flow of the game and the pleasure of playing
@@robjapanwait, isn’t that the same as the main line pokemon game?
@@padmoch2207 The combat speed is the same except for the intro in which in this game you basically create your own.
Arlo has given me the confidence to say that, I too am a grown adult (if you count 25 as full grown) that pretends to be a trainer at any given moment. Thank you for making me feel not alone or crazy.
That is awesome! There's nothing wrong with that, and you keep that, if it's fun and you wanna! ^^
For the first time NPCs have actual names and development.. literally the music evolves along with the town because of the player
It had so many mystery dungeon vibes which is something that I adore
How everyone turned their backs to the player so quickly apart from Rei/Akari, the professor (he is so amazing) and Cylene
The player is left by themselves though along with their own Pokemon
And the moment with Shinx just coming to check on the player.. it was so amazing
@@hissirenprincess619 This is the first time I’ve thought about that but I definitely agree mystery dungeon vibes for sure
The legends series needs to continue. If we get something like a legends Ho-oh or celebi set in the johto region i’ll die happy
Omg me too! But I do hope that our character is from that time period rather than from the future.
I want to see these gaps filled in somehow and if that’s done with Legends Arceus sequels, I’m all for it
Kinda wish they did it right then and there
@@ralfsstuff yeah me to. I really though Cylene would be another twist villain like they did with Sun and Moon and Sword and Shield
I probably won't even finish Violet. Its boring compared to Arceus. I got extremely spoiled with the storytelling and gameplay from Arceus.
The best part about giving them a shiny is they show up next to them in shiny form
I gave that one dude in the house an alpha parasect and had a chuckle at it taking up almost the entire back half of the house
It took so long, but finally we got a game where you're goal is actually the Pokedex. Your a researcher and exploring the mythology of a region, add more trainer battles and this is a perfect formula for revisiting regions when their time comes.
Very disappointing that violet and scarlet didn’t follow what arceus did cause what we had was truly refreshing and for them to go back to how it’s always been after playing arceus is just kinda…..meh
true, cant play the basic formula after arceus
I'm just hoping it's because they were developed at the same time by different teams. I mean, the pokemon switching in LA would've been PERFECT for auto-battling in SV. Maybe the next game, if not, then gen 10 will build properly off of LA.
Legends Arceus should be the baseline for all pokemon games going forward. All they had to do was take that core and drop the usual pokemon formula into it, but of course, in classic gamefreak fashion, we get a trainwreck of a game.
Perfectly put. Agreed.
Agree. I can never go back to the dull Pokémon formula, if I can't get the rush of wild Pokémon trying to kill me or me bully catch via mud balls.
@@zahrah2269 same man
Breeding not being in the game actually works really well for the "gotta catch em all" thing the game has going on (being like the original Red/Blue). If you catch a Raichu, you can't just go and make a quick Pichu egg. No, you have to go and search for a Pichu, which are quite rare. There really isn't a need for breeding in the game anyway since the hidden stats are gone,
that's fair, and i agree to an extent, but i really hope the next Legends game has the masuda method because it's one of the easiest shiny methods 😭
@@zzeroara9511 imo it’s not needed, the fact that you can boost your shiny odds much easier through outbreaks and such means your shiny chances are highly elevated. i’ve found so many shinies in PLA, and never massifs no matter how hard i try 💀
@@abomination6393 outbreaks are random so your point flops.

Here's hoping this becomes its own long-running series so more fans can get what they want.
and then S&V fucked it up again lol
@@vanishing_girl Yeah, I saw the news about the performance issues. *Sigh* I honestly feel bad for Pokemon fans at this point.

@@Kohryujin they went back to a lot of the old game design decisions too, like slow battles the way you catch pokemon, etc.
As long as they connect to the main series, go nuts.
@@Whitepawprint just because it plays differently doesn’t mean that it is not part of main line games
For real. If you've seen the leaks of pokemon designs for Scarlet/Violet, you know they put their all into the designs. They are (in my opinion) some of the best Game Freak has ever made
Arceus is a great step and I can’t wait for the sequel. I really enjoyed it immensely.
I hope it gets a sequel, it truly does deserve it.
@@kclink1579 and I hope it gets a graphic update and some voice actors and pokemon with more moveent and meaning than just hey catch me
One of my favorite moments in Arceus was when I got into it with an Alpha Heracross and he wiped my entire team. It was at this moment, as my team was wiped and I learned that the game DOES NOT WHITE YOU OUT that I began dodging like a madman as this massive stag beetle comes chasing me down a hill, through a valley, that I asked myself, "Wait, can I heal my pokemon and go back in?"
Turns out, the answer is yes, AND that pokemon will have THE SAME HEALTH as it did when you left off.

Little discussion.......
Legends Arceus is by far the most inspired the Pokemon Company has been since basically the beginning.
Our puppet friend is so thorough that it took him almost a year to make his review for the game, you love to see it.
Arlo’s love for real time catching warms my heart. I’m so sad to see it gone inn Scarlet and Violet.
I know, it's beyond stupid that they got rid of that.
Probably one of the best Pokémon experiences and games to ever be released.
one small detail i like is how pokemon actually look at each other in the eye when they're battling. really feels like they're there interacting and not just standing there doing cool poses
Really can't wait to play Scarlet and Violet tomorrow!
you mean today, as early releases are a thing
From what I've been seeing a lot of what's in this video is not in the new game
Im going at midnight with a couple friends to get it, im so hype 😭
@@Spectarium most people have to wait until midnight, so I would guess OP meant tomorrow… considering, you know, I think HE would know when HE gets to play.
I’m even more excited! I have not been catching up with Pokémon recently but you know what after Violet or I am getting Arceus!
I loved this game so much. It rekindled my love for the series and I truly hope they revisit this series or change the mainline series to be more like it. I feel like scarlett and violet are going to feel like a mixture between arceus and sword & shield.
To me S/V are nothing like Arceus. It feels like a Open World Sword and Shield. Its boring me to death so far. I just want more Legends Arceus.
Nothing can compare to legends Arceus unfortunately.. and so many reviewers just disappointed me because they didn't understand
After mystery dungeon and Pokemon ranger, no other games actually had NPCs/ main characters being suspicious of the player
The NPCs have names, development , the music itself develops along with the player
The player earns respect instead of being put on a pedestal for no reason
I really need to see more legends games
Great video! I’m obsessed with this game. Very disappointed with scarlet & violet… hopefully the next game is like Arceus
S/V was done by the group who developed Sw/Sh, next one is back to the people that did legends arceus. So we can probably expect something decent
@@holy9781 i think youll like legends, it was pretty good
This is easily the best Pokémon game in years and yes that does include Scarlet.
Wait why can't you play open world games?
@@darkozosel9114 I get distracted by side stuff constantly, which I understand that some people do like, but I hate not being able to make progress towards the main story.
@@dockingwater1713 i like that aspect but also understand why that would bother some. Because you can lost in the small things here very easily haha
@@zzeroara9511 cool? More like Horrifying and Uncomfortable. Sign me up!
I'm glad we could get a positive Pokemon review after the ones for Scarlet and Violet came out
I'm glad to see the bits that were brought over to Scarlet and Violet, but I am massively disappointed that they didn't bring over the free catching system.
Wow, the day before Gen 9? Nice! Can't wait for the Scarlet and Violet review the day before Gen 10 comes out!
That was the best comment ever 😂💀
Me too! Already got it written down on the calendar!
Considering Goh got the Galar starters in the anime, I think there was a missed opportunity to have Ash have his Quilava, Rowlet, and Oshawott evolve up to Hisuian Typhlosion, Decidueye, and Samurott.
That would have been so much better than the special they had earlier.
Yeah, Shopro really screwed over Hisui.
That would've been a cool way to finally evolve those starters of Ash and showcase the cool designs, but I've long since given up on the anime to do anything interesting.
His Rowlet can't evolve, but it would've been really cool to see Oshawott and Quilava back!
@@zeeduardopenedo2547 No it's won't, not can't. He can cough up the Everstone then he can evolve.
Didn't realize how much this game got in my head until hearing the "successful capture" sound again. Still gives that dopamine hit.
It’s simply not good enough. Very flawed yet enjoyable
@@perdurabo56 so let me ask this genuinely, why do you say it’s not good enough? What other aspects were you hoping for?

@@DarkAngelEU Scarlet and Violet also look like crap and run horribly compared to legends of Arceus. I am completely disappointed that Game freak didn’t have the balls to bring over all these amazing features to the main line franchise this is how Pokémon is supposed to feel.

This game has a lot of small details I love. Like how Nosepass is always facing north, just like the pokédex always mentioned.
(Nothing too broken but facing a rain team even if it didn't spam thunder is still quite the step up from normal pokemon)
But PLA is definitely the nost experiment pokemon game yet, and even if im not 100% on everything i love the overall concept and fully support experimentation and hope that we get more legends series. (I also head canon that the player in legends is the player from platinum after they became champion)
I REALLY liked the gimmick in this game of strong or agile style, it felt so natural and needed and i honestly think it should be a core mechanic in every game from now on.
So glad to hear Arlo happy and enjoying a Pokémon game.
Mystery Dungeon only superficially, every PMD game has such a good story that comparing Legends to PMD is kinda silly.
Training grounds have strong trainers with very high level pokemon
@@cortster12 The only reason you think pmd has a good story is because it wasn't made by game freak, you're the same clowns who think XD and Colosseum are good in any way.
@@rpgfanatic9719 No, it's because I'm a freak who enjoys PMD player x partner shipping fanfiction.
i wouldnt say the story is mystery dungeon level but this is a definite step up for the franchise
Your comparison about EV/IVs to Snaking in Mario Kart was so spot on, couldn't have described it better.
I remembered during the tutorial starly fight I had a geodude start a battle on top of a ledge and had rollout, so the battle just had geodude rolling down a cliff
Once during a spacetime distortion I had a wild pokemon and mine on different cliffs, and the battle had both launching beams between both cliffs
It's amazing how something so simple as battles that take place in the overworld can lead to such memorable moments
I feel like you’re the friend I wish I had to get stuck in traffic with
great analogy, i totally agree
Pokémon Legends will be a Legend for a long PokéTime. It definitely feels like the best Pokémon freely tossing Pokéballs.
I’m watching this whole thing just for you man 😉
I've replayed this game 3 times and I still love it. I want Violet, but I still want the next Legends and hope it brings it all back and more. 🥰
The flow is real 🤣 I have lost so many hours just wandering around and checking the dex boxes for the professor.
I've had Arceus on the shelf for most of this past year but just haven't touched any video games all year... now that the outdoors are hostile and inhospitable again in the north, this video makes me look forward to it 😅
My favorite moment of this game was the True Final Boss, from the music, to the aesthetics, to the cool mechanical switchup. Very memorable moment.
I've been looking forward to this review for so long!!! Thank you, Arlo!!! ❤️❤️❤️
EDIT:
After watching the entire review, I must say you did an amazing job with this review, Arlo! Arceus ended up being my absolute favorite Pokémon game, and your thoughts on the different aspects of the game made me recall all the fun I had with the game. It was an absolute pleasure playing it! Thanks again for putting this review together! Well worth the wait!
I was NOT expecting an hour long video from Arlo and I am pleased to say it was well worth the wait!
Thanks, Arlo, for being the voice in my head for a whole gym day
31:50 I wanna add that status effects not only go away after the battle, they also do so during it. And at the same time they can be overwritten by others ( or the same one again which refreshes the timer ).
Been playing pokemon for 23 years and this was EASILY my most enjoyable pokemon experience
This makes me want to play Arceus some more. I forgot how much I love this game, while under the stresses of modern life.
The way they did moves is my favorite. I wish they continued it
This channel is really worth the wait for every review.
This... this is the best review of Legends: Arceus on RUclips!
