    May I suggest that you flatten the back side of the chisel first over its entire face than sharpen the bevel, that way you eliminate friction as much as possible.

    Great stuff I love what you did but I couldn't figure out the name plywood. Ply is a sheet of wood called veneer. The stuff you are using is partial say sawdust compressed. But thanks for the great videos you opened my eyes often.

      Thank you for all, if you follow this channel from begin, first i use plywood but i cant find birch plywood on my country and quality plywood in here very bad, curve, not flaten so many bubble inside,coz i made jig that not good, i change with mdf but not durable and so many comment mdf not good material, i found new material hmr this is very good material look like mdf but more solid, durable, flaten and water resistant, that why i use this material until now😅

      @@plywoodworking I am wondering what is the actual thickness of the hmr, is it exactly 15mm thick or like our 1/2 plywood at 15/32?

    • @plywoodworking
      @plywoodworking  4 года назад

      In my country all use mm not inches. Hmr thickness start from 3mm - 6-9-12-15-18. Sometime i confuse if thickness use inches, i recomended use 18mm or 3/4 more strong and stabil if use plywood but if use hmr i can use 15mm coz hmr very solid and flat

    What kind of stone do you sharpen a chisel?
    Is the metal not burning?

      This stone combije with green fiber i dont know about detail, i only use grid 120 but more.good if step by step 120-400-600-2000 the result more good and durable sharpen
