Cheers man. I only used 10w40 . 5 can be ok if you do a lot of short journeys but 10w40 is normal. As for the filter, the black Subaru is best, I buy mine from rogerclark motorsport.

That rumble is not the sound of a Subaru or a Boxer for that matter it is the sound of unequal length headers that Subaru installs. EJ's run significantly better on equal length headers for a plethora of reasons. Your car sounds very good.
It starts to spool at 3, but you done get anything till 3600ish really. And full by 3800. The spool above that is fast though, no lag on and off throttle.
I’m an Evo guy because I love the 4G63’s reliability and power potential but that EJ20 definitely wins in terms of sound and weight distribution.

Erm if you’ve got an sti then the heads are fine. Just the manifold and turbo at risk then haha. Yeah it’s pretty brutal
@@InitialB Yeah Litchfield actually state nothing over 350hp on stock internals on the EJ25 or I'm asking for trouble. 350hp is plenty for the road.

I can post up a short video on the link ecu settings. But it’s because of the antilag map in the ecu.
