Today, I decided to step away from ship models and try something different!
RUclips is brimming with various ideas on how to put together a straightforward passive amplifier for your smartphone, one that can also serve as a stand. I named it 'Sound Horn'. I took it upon myself to come up with my unique design. It ate up a whole day as I brainstormed and pieced things together. I'll concede, though, that the outcome is surprisingly impressive. According to the Sound Meter application, this gizmo jacks up the volume by a solid 8 dB. On the flip side, it tends to trim down the low frequencies, which isn't exactly ideal. However, on the whole, I'm pretty darn content with what it brings to the table.
