@nespresso when the video says it will program for that type, does it refer to all pods I use that are 230ml intended or just the flavour brand I’m using. I.e., just my Starbucks pike place or both Starbucks pike place and my Nespresso maple pecan (since they are both 230ml)? Thanks
Hi! If you reprogram the machine to brew a larger volume it will be a less concentrated pour. If you would like a more concentrated pour with a smaller volume we'd recommend clicking the button twice to activate "Coffee Creations Mode".
Almost impossible to figure this out without searching endlessly through the manual and the website. It says in the manual to visit the website for more information regarding "personalized cup size", however you find nothing. This video is no better with the headline "machine setting", which can mean practically anything beyond personalize cup sizes and may lead people away from clicking it. I am happy with my pop machine but it has to be clearer instructions, I don't understand how such a large Coffe producer makes it so difficult for the consumers.
agreed.. the funny thing is owning this pop+ for 6 months and put of the box i never have to program anything it was just giving me the right amount of water of whatever capsule i use not i am here finding out that my machine refuse to supply water and this setting solve my issue😥
I’m confused. So I can set each separate pod size to the desired amount and it can read every time I put that pod size in to make either 20 or 40 Ml espresso, lungo, mug?? Kinda unclear in this video.

How do I reset the machine itself? I'm so confused, it did a long descaling, then went red on the light, I've pulled the plug out and now it's gone back to blinking orange 😢
I have one of these machines going cheap(ish). My wife bought me one for Christmas but instead of going for one that makes decent coffee the proper way I get one that drops a shed load of foam into the cup!!! What the hell is that about? It's not 'all about the foam' as Nespresso try to impress on us, they're selling a gimmick that is as lame as anything I think I've ever come across! I can't even use it now as the amount of foam just sets of my Tourettes like you wouldn't believe!

I have the same issue. After coffee is made I am like a ninja to remove water container and put kitchen towel to soak water before the work surface becomes a puddle. @nespresso please help thanks.
Just bought one of these machines. What a heap of junk. Went through the process of cleaning etc., tried to make a coffee all I got was a dribble. I'd have to do that about another 20 times just to get half an espresso. This is going back. Absolute crap.
Totally agree. . It is rubbish. By trying to get it working , I wasted so many pods!! Finally decided to empty my pods in a filter coffee machine to get a fair cup of coffee, will finish up my pods this way and dump this stupid machine.

Is the coffee more concentrated if you hold on to the button, or is it at the same concentration but at a lower volume?

Nespresso it is not sorted. The water container has been broken since day 1.
Can you identify your country, so we can further look into this?

So I did this and my espresso tasted like absolute water because I made the pour bigger by about an ounce

I've had my Vertuo Pop for a year and can honestly say it's amazing, I use it every morning.
