Years ago I had a German small lathe and at that time I found a company that made and sold gears of all kinds for a very reasonable price. I bought enough to make a change set for that lathe and they were of good quality. Not even close to the price of the original manufacturer. One of the early lathe group forums clued me in on it. I wish I could remember the name but I am sure a good google will turn it up. They were going strong in the early two thousands. As I recall and don't quote me but a set of six gears was like $120.
Nice video very well documented and detail. Great job, thank you for sharing
Thank you Ed! Kind words keep this old man going.
Very cool project!
Thank you Kirk

Another good job.
Thank you Robin!
Lathe looks like a nice starting point. Have fun. I am working on one like it. Mines not nearly as nice as yours.
Thanks Man! I just got lucky.
I have the same lathe, th54, you can find the year of manufacture based on the serial number, mine was built in 1952
Thanks Man!
