    Very nice strum pattern.... would you consider doing a tutorial on the Uptown girl number by Billy Joel?

    I‘m so glad I found your channel. It‘s such an amazing idea to make a tutorial with different options to play this song. Personally I find it much easier to pick because I always have the feeling I have to strum against the melody while fingerpicking follows it (if that does make any sense).
    Your tutorials are easy to follow and so well explained. Thank you!!! 😁
    I would love to have a tutorial for „Seasons in the sun“, just a suggestion.
    Forgive me any spelling mistakes (I‘m from Germany).

      Lara Markowitz where I’m at in my learning I appreciate being shown different strum and fingerpicking patterns, and so for you to cover four in one reasonable-length video was great, and your teaching style is very clear and easy to follow also. I look forward to checking out more of your stuff! Good luck with your channel!

    Hi Lara. I'm enjoying your channel and have subscribed. I will offer one bit of constructive criticism if I may: I find that as I'm trying to play along with the play-along part, the pace seems a bit uneven (unexpectedly picking up out of nowhere. Perhaps if you used a metronome while recording the play-along, we'd all be matched up better. If no one else is having this problem, I'll assume it's just me, but I thought it was better to mention it than to ignore it.
    Jim

      Hi Jim, thank so much for subscribing! You're right, it seems that I did finish the play along at a faster tempo than where I started. Thanks for your feedback!

    Lara how do i know that my uku is in high G or low. Tnks

    • @LaraMarkowitzMusic
      @LaraMarkowitzMusic  3 года назад

      Hi Lea, ukes generally come with a high G. If you play your open G and also the 3rd fret of your 2nd string/E string (which is also a G note) at the same time and they're the same note, then your G string is high. If you've purchased a low G and replaced the high G string with a low G, then when you play the open G string it will be an octave lower than playing the 3rd fret of your 2nd string. Thanks for the question!

      Hi Lara thankyou very much for the info. Now i know that this uke of mine is on high G. I like the way u teach. I'm one of your fan. Thank you again.
