    Letting go of MEANING. So good. It's not just healing a broken heart but letting go of the anger, hurt, resentment, fear.... Letting go of of the need to be known as the innocent victim, and the need for the other person to understand what a terrible thing they did. I'm finally letting that go.

    I met the “ one that got away” I hadn’t seen in 20 years recently. I instantly fell head over heels and lost all good sense. It was pitiful! After awhile I realized I couldn’t play the mind games with her and I felt she was taking advantage of me being so crazy about her. So after a couple months I totally blew up about it. Blocked her on social media and blocked all contact. It took about 4 days of suffering but I finally feel better. It has to be NO CONTACT…PERIOD. You gotta burn that F’ing bridge like your life depends on it. You will get over it way faster that way. But burning the bridge for me was much easier than all the uncertainly I was experiencing with her and the little mind games they play when they realize they got you hooked. I really cared a lot for her but I was betraying my own self respect by letting her control my mind 24/7

      Self care is the most important even in the smallest ways. Make your bed. Smile to yourself. You will be surprised how the smallest of changes have the biggest effects. For me even digesting my emotions and the manipulation and deceit I am having to accept without any answers. I’ve completely disassociated with myself a few times. Which is quite a scary experience. Patience and kindness to your self is the only way. Wish you live and strength.

    I think that these types of videos are helpful but at the same time, it's easy to fall into a trap and become confused. I think it would be reasonable, maybe even obvious, to say, that quite a few people (like me?) are likely to look for and watch this content when they are feeling vulnerable because you're feeling the pain but wanting to be proactive and get healthy. However, because you are feeling vulnerable, there tends to be a lot of mixed emotions making one go back and forth, so one minute you're watching videos about letting go and moving on but the next minute, there's so many videos that connect letting go with SP's returning - the type of videos titled, this is why they always come back or when you do this they will come back etc. And that just plays with the buried/suppressed hope that still lingers. It's almost impossible to let go when that tiny seed is planted about someone ever coming back. The videos themselves become addictive when you are in the lack state. It's obvious that we do have a choice about how to move forward when one does typically come back but when you're stuck in the patterns and fighting for the familiarity, it's really difficult to make the right decision, regardless of how logical or rational you intend to be.

    • @christineburk4026
      @christineburk4026 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@carlosdiaz-iz4id Yes a broken heart can hurt like hell, but as the saying goes "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Years ago I desperately wanted to date this guy, even though my brain and intuition said "NO! NO! NO!". He didn't feel the same way even though he would still want to hang out one on one as close friends (which I enjoyed at the time in the hope that he would want more eventually), and looking back I now understand it as an empath/narcissist codependency thing. I think I may have confused wanting him for myself with just wanting to heal my heart, and needing distance from him in order to do that. In retrospect, a romantic relationship with him would have been a complete disaster (toxicity, verbal abuse) and I think I may have dodged a few bullets since. I am well over him now and have learned to love myself again.

    This is sich an interesting thought- I always thought I had to prove my worth to my grandpa. I was sure that one day he‘d see me and acknowledge me being worthy of his love. When I met my narcissistic husband, I spent the next 20 years to proove myself, show I am a good wife, capable partner and loving mother. Just after I left him, I realized that he had never done much to show HIS worth. The gap he left in my life is tiny.. But I still wish I had the security of having a partner 🤔

    Your videos are helping me so much right now. Four years ago my best friend and my ex-girlfriend who I was still deeply entangled with (sleeping with, even) began a relationship in secret. I found out almost a year later and it shattered my world. They are still together. I thought I had made progress in moving forward but as soon as I got out of a fairly shallow relationship with someone else, all the pain and thoughts came back, because I hadn't really consciously decided to forgive and let go, I was only distracting myself. Your videos are illuminating the path forward. It is truly to focus on myself and getting back to kicking ass at life. Thank you Aaron.

    Wow, I've been struggling trying to hold on to him for a year and a half now and I suddenly understand why I've been chasing him and holding on when I've never done that before after a break up. It's because he got me when I was in a traumatized state and he embodies the childhood wound left by my emotionally unavailable mother
    In fact, I knew him for 4 years and he pursued me for 3 of those 4. I didn’t have any interest in him for most of that time. The interest started only because of me being re-traumatized by someone else and that caused my self esteem to plummet which opened the door for me to let this man in
    Thank you so much for putting this into perspective for me!!!

    I'm an infj personality type. We tend to connect with others on a deep spiritual level. I just removed from a relationship abruptly. That was difficult to process, so I'll share what I did as it might be helpful for others. After entering into a deep meditation I envisioned myself as a white light and her as a shadow. I then envisioned two currents of energy one light, one dark that connected us. I envisioned the energy i put into her coming back to me as its source and her energy leaving me back into her. After the energy currents no longer flowed, I envisioned a sheild of light around my light self, no longer allowing her energy to enter my spirit. This was the first time ever doing this, and it seemed to help me. Hope it works for you all.

    I was literally wanting some kind of confirmation about this exact topic. I'm divorced but still feel I love my ex husband, have dreams about him probably twice a week. We have a 5 year old daughter together. He's remarried and now has a baby with her. I still keep sometimes replaying the past and wished that I took him back a number of times after he left us. I don't know if a part of it is due to me being single still. I feel that because I still have this love for him and longing for what we had it stops me from even putting my self out there for another potential relationship. Also the fear of getting hurt is huge

      I've never been in your shoes and I can understand these feelings are heavy and hard. Do you feel like you won't be able to have love again without him or that you felt safe or connected and now without him that potential for you is gone? When you were younger, did you feel a longing for connection and felt ignored/isolated? possible a sibling that you saw parents connect to more than you? Sending you love!

    • @faithselflove1016
      @faithselflove1016 2 года назад +1

      @@AbbyRuston thankyou for the reply :) Im 33 yet I still feel I truly will be alone. I did feel a extremely strong connection with him. We had alot of family on both sides get involved in our marriage which had a impact over the years. That's soo weird you mention that, yes I always felt very alone and very different. Even though in highschool and after I always was very social amd have still alot of friends. I don't have a good relationship with either of my parents. I don't feel I have true love for them..I was down alot growing up and it still happens from my family. Even though on the outside I'm a very confident person I still feel I don't resonate with anyone it's strange, only my daughter and that's it. I do over love her if that's possible I kiss her and hug her alot amd tell her that I love her probable atheist 5 times every day. Maybe it's because it's something I never had

    I love Taoism and this is great information. I'd add to do Heart Brain Coherence practice, to add to being the observer, meditation, going with the flow etc. One can intend to let go and know they should but they just can't and it's due to their programming and survival instincts mostly. If you do heart-brain coherence or an equivalent practice it will bring heart and mind into coherence and allows you to become coherent with the universe or Spirit and then it becomes easy to let go because you are aligned with a higher vibe through gratitude, compassion etc. I've been saying for a good while that this is the practice for the 2020s and sure enough videos on this topic have tripled in the past month or 2.

    Being alone to long ie 5+ years turns to sadness. Even though you focus on you and your career. Then the toxic relationship comes then turns to deep sadness and loneliness.

    I had all of these things in spades and my whole life I went with the flow of others. I just got out of an 18 yr. Marriage with a narcissist. My mom and grandma never left their demonic child molesting husbands. I’m different though. I know I was brainwashed but I have a really smart intuitive brain. My mom and grandma told me what happened to them after I said what my dad did to me. They managed to twist it in their minds to where these men were sorry and they’ve changed. These men don’t change and their main objective is to destroy highly good spiritual people.

    It was my love interest ..my fix..my validation...the thing that as as a women of 58..validated me aa still a desireable female. As a soul survivor It filled many aspects of a broken heart ..for those moments...my heart felt whole. But my insecurities ruined it. Although very pleasureable...there were serious red flags.
