Great to have expert on visa system post brexit. An expert interview from an assessor on the Spanish tax system would be good to help people understand the tax implications of a move to Spain, and how UK assets are taxed in Spain.

Top man Barry and great to see some great advice from Upsticks - Chris - many thanks for sharing the info
Best advice from Chris as ever 👏🏼 Can I ask the cost for arranging the NLV for my wife and I ? We retired early, already have an apartment in Spain and have the required savings. Just a price for all the paperwork and submissions to be completed on our behalf. Thank you.
Hi Baz It would be good at some point to have a video about people with EU passports. I know you dont need a visa but it would be beneficial to me if you explained how healthcare works for non spanish but EU citizens living in Spain. I have an Irish passport and plan on moving to Spain in the next couple if years.
I did not work in the UK for the last 20 years, all as a contractor overseas, so no P45 ? I am now retired on my own in the UK, on the state pension and a small amount from a private pension. I have over 60,000 in savings, and would have another 200,000 from the sale of my house (no mortgage) Would I qualify for this Visa ?
I've seen online people working offshore off the coast of Scotland have been granted saying that they have been awarded an NLV on the basis that they aren't working in Spain and that they can be in Spain more than 183 days because of their work pattern. Very unusual set of circumstances but interesting nonetheless.
I'm retired, and I would very much like to apply for an NLV, and I'm confident i would meet the financial and other criteria. My question is this: once you arrive in Spain and arrange your accommodation, is there a set period of time in which you must remain in Spain? I ask because with family in the Uk and many commitments arranged - weddings etc - i would need to frequently go back and forward between the two countries. I've read that you need to stay in Spain for a continuous period of 183 days to be granted the visa - is that correct? I also hate flying, so i would be driving down through France. Once I exceeded the 90 days allowance, would there be issues with doing that? Any info on these points would be gratefully received.
I watched the vlog with Chris from upsticks .. When we were doing our first NLV .. I asked him a few questions about certain aspects of the NLV .. Even though we did it ourself .. He was very helpful and pointed me the right direction..
You are referring to illegal migration and/or asylum seekers entering the UK. However anyone legitimately moving to the UK has to apply for a visa which has similar financial, health and criminal records eligibility criteria as Spain and all countries have.
Great video, good to see Chris again 😊
Very informative. Thanks Barry and Chris.
Hasta luego 🏖

Ahh yes this is what I need too understand the requirements, cheers for that
I'd love to do it in the future. Bit it's Spain's house, Spain's rules. I don't have a problem with it
🙌🏼 It’s the all of the EU, not just Spain.

Dont disagree with the sentiment but why don't they apply the same entry rules to African & middle eastern arrivals?
