To me, This whole Sony Spider-Man Universe seems to have the same problems as the DCEU. They both tried to copy of MCU without a solid plan or through line and just ended up putting all their eggs in one basket that resulted in disappointment.

Every studio rushing to make a cinematic universe forgot the key point that people wanted to see a shared universe because they liked the films and characters not the other way arround.
Amazing Spiderman wasn't the worse example (The Mummy is probably still the low point) but it sits right alongside Suicide Squad as a 'quick, throw out all the material' before they figured out how to build anything.

Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Daniel Craig, Matthew Mcconaughey... The list of actors you get when you have LITERALLY no idea what tone, characterisation plot or even what movie your working on. It's just such a clear example of having no idea what your doing. You can actually imagine the conversation "So who do you want for your villian *writer snorts coke of the table* "oh what?" "Actors, who do you want, anyone in mind" "Oh like names... Wow what a buzz... Actor names... Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Daniel Craig, Matthew Mcconaughey.. Yeah those are people I know"

The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN
It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth
She was the only one capable to tell AVI ARAD when to back off

Thinking about it, this idea for a prequel to Amazing Spider man 2 movie with Kraven as villain, could work much better for the opening of Amazing Spider man 3 rather than a whole movie plot. The third movie could had introduce Kraven in the first minutes, with him been send by Osborn to hunt down Spider man and being quickly defeated by the hero. After the title credits, the movie could had fast forward after Gwen death and be a adaptation of Kraven's Last Hunt. The whole moment of Spider man being buried alive could had Gwen and Captain Stacy appearing in Peter's memories and inspiring him to escape and continue to live to protect others, and Kraven stealing Spider man identity could make him into a dark reflection of what Peter was becoming after Gwen death (as he said in NWH "He stop holding his punches).

If TASM3 were to be revived, I’d rather have it as a TV series. The Disney+ Plus shows proved to be rather successful with its movie-like budget so it’s not a stretch for TASM3 to do the same with this serialized format.
The show can reutilize some of the original plans of the cancelled projects in order to fit one cohesive narrative. Depending on how much content is made 2 or 3 seasons would suffice and nothing more.
As for the overall storyline, it would still be about Peter against Oscorp in a race to find Richard Parker’s legacy in the form of the artificial Symbiote as a genetic cure.
Harry and the rest of the Sinister Six would be build up slowly until a season finale and each member having a specific purpose outside of fighting Spider-Man.
The “Silver & Black” project can be reworked by connecting Silver Sable and the country Symkaria to Oscorp’s projects and the Parker’s deaths. Felecia can be retconned to be a corporate saboteur/criminal thief “hired” by Sable to infiltrate Oscorp.
Overall, the show should still focus on Peter’s story post-Gwen’s death/NWH as he forms a connection with Mary Jane and fully move on.

Very good video learned some new things about my favorite spider-man and the behind the scenes stuff. Kinda happy a lot of the possible sequels and spinoff didn't happen just cause I don't think it would have been done correctly. Even though Garfield spider-man is my favorite and I think emma stone did great Gwen Stacy the overall story of both films is sub par compare to Tobey's spider-man and Tom's spider-man. I would have love to see the Amazing universe build up to a sinister six movie and took some things from the ultimate spider-man comic line along the way leading to a death of the spider-man ending. But I am bit morbid so that wouldn't have been great story for the kids lol.

It's just that at the end of Spider-Man 3, Peter and MJ dealing with Harry's death isn't really expounded upon enough, Peter repairing his relationship with MJ isn't resolved or shown, and the lack of a final swing leaves the question of whether Peter continues to be Spider-Man. Yes, you can argue that we get more context in No Way Home, but the conversations he has implied that a lot has happened since we last saw him.

It was complete in the since that the story arc of the movie ended properly, but it didn't really resolve the story of Peter and MJ, the story that was told from the the first movie until the unplanned ending of the trilogy. That's the issue I have. I grew up with those movies and Raimi didn't get the chance to finish writing the ending he wanted. It's incomplete in that way.

The only way I can see a Sinister Six movie working would be to make it a prequel flick. Set it way before TASM1 film and just have the team do their thing but get captured by somebody (maybe Osborne) who studies them so in the present day Peter would have to fight legacy villains who are all out to get him instead of their heroic predecessors. There's been four Kravens, three Doc Ocks, three Vultures, two Rhinos, two Mysterio's, two Electros, and successors to Sandman (Sandstorm) and Chameleon (Skull Jacket) so it'd be easy to do.

Frankly what I want to see in a Post-No Way Home Spider-Man landscape:
Do more Amazing Spider-Man films for Andrew, with good talent behind it and actual PLANNING.
Maybe do something more with the Maguire Spider-Man, Idk could be neat.
Let the MCU have Tom Holland.
Andrew can be the Sonyverse Spider-Man, no more worrying about having to do all these ideas without Spider-Man.
Idk maybe all these ideas simply will never come to fruition and NWH was a lighting in the bottle moment that actually brought everything new and old together for a bit.
I just think now that Andrew's Spider-Man deserves more and Tobey's has interested me with how he's progressed since the original trilogy.
Tom Holland's take should be free to go on as long as he's willing, probably getting swapped out when he eventually wants out of the role like Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. with their characters.
Audiences don't need things like Bat-Embargos or constant reboots/cancelling of old versions. We can understand concepts of different versions of characters existing at one time. More and more media is embracing crossovers with multiple different shows, even ones that were entirely separate before and still are.

Then Sinister Six can be six of his villains brought together to take down the symbiotic Spider-Man. That ends with the symbiote leaving Peter allowing it to bond with Eddie Brock then have Venom vs. Carnage. End with Silver & Black with Gwen returning as Spider-Woman to reunite her with Peter. Sinjin Reed Sony is to blame for everything. Avi Arad and Amy Pascal in particular. They so desperately wanted to beat the MCU at their own game that they bum rushed a cinematic universe. Not realizing that that it takes time to lay the groundwork. And what really sucks is that Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Marc Webb got so royally screwed. Had TASM not been trying to be a Batman Begins/ we're so different from Raimi and just been a straightforward adaptation of the Ultimate comics it could have been something special.
Sony should just let their creatives do their own thing and not get in the way. Spider-verse was good because Lord and Miller are good directors/ writers. And here's hoping Spider-verse 2 maintains that same level of quality.

Plenty of time to give Andrew the type of Spiderman movies he deserves. Both DC and Marvel are going full gear with their live Action cinematic universes and there's gonna a number of different versions of Batman with the Flash movie and The Batman. Sony gave the MCU the Spiderman it needed and I believe Andrew is the live action Spiderman Sony needs now. Their thought process going into Amazing Spider-Man was something darker and more grounded in reality like the Dark Knight trilogy. Andrew was phenomenal in No Way Home and I want to see his Spiderman dealing with the loss of Gwen. Was saving MJ closure enough. He talks about getting bitter after all that so please explore sony. Prove you can still make truly awesome live action Spiderman movies with no need for the MCU banner. Garfield still has so much untapped potential and there's an opportunity to go darker with Spiderman than anyone's took the character on film before. After meeting his brothers he still had to return to his reality. Some things about that Universe from his 2 movies need changed but there's too much potential in this to not explore. I would have him feeling better and less bitter about everything after No Way Home. But let's see what damage he did. He could have been so messed up that he badly injured the Rhino. Just 1 example. He tries to be the friendly neighborhood Spiderman again but a lot of the city could be dubious of him.

The Garfield films had that conspiracy angle with Peter's dad being in league with Norman Osbourne and that Peter was sort of destined to become Spider-man rather than being a regular kid who had a lucky or unlucky accident. Electro was totally silly (he goes bad cause Spider-man gets more media attention?) but even the Lizard was wrong. The Lizard persona takes over the good man who is Dr. Conners. They make it that Conners is in charge of the Lizard and goes crazy as a result so he is responsible for the Lizard's actions. Peter being sympathetic due to knowing Conners is not at fault and that Conners has a family made for the whole responsibility thing Peter is known for. Garfield and Stone were great as the leads, I didn't need the origin done again and weaker.
