  • Little Amal is a giant puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl searching around the world for a home. During her tour in Southern California, she learned American Sign Language (ASL) with the cast of Deaf West Theatre in Pasadena to communicate with audiences through silence. The collaboration aims to inspire hope and solidarity for displaced people worldwide. In Los Angeles, Little Amal symbolizes the story that many Angelenos can relate to as part of a city of immigrants and refugees.
As Little Amal connects with people worldwide, celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) and the importance of making the world accessible for all.
