    Did you know that during Caitlin Clark's debut playoff series against Connecticut, she just achieved something that only Michael Jordan in 1984 did? And this isn't the first time she did it - she also did it during the regular season. We'll break it down in this video. While the Fever lost, the future is clearly bright!

      She did better.
      If I'm not mistaken, Jordan had more minutes to rack up those numbers. About 20% more.
      Which means, CC's 18pt are more like 21-22, and 8.5as are like 10. She's averaging above 20/10 in NBA terms.

    All of the following is true. CC is a generational talent, setting records for a rookie and even seasoned vets. More importantly, her demeanor and carriage during her first year in the WNBA will influence everything in the league. The refs will be replaced with real pros. The marketing will be revamped. The games will be less physical to protect the investment in these great players. I could go on and on, but CC is the leading edge of a real shift in the WNBA, led by her quiet, but aggressive approach to the game that extends off the court. She is just very likable and refreshing to see and to listen to because she doesn't whine and complain. She refuses to be caught up in political or social movements, etc. She is focussed on playing and elevating her game to make her team better. In so doing, she is shaming the haters among her rival players in the WNBA, who will get rich just because they are in the same league with her. I hope only the best for CC and the WNBA, but the haters and the mismanagement of the league has to go. Peace.

    CC is the only reason I became interested in basketball again. Being from Boston I got excited when Larry Bird was drafted by the Celtics, Magic Johnson to the Lakers etc. I lost my interest when those great players retired. I think that Ms. Carrington delibertly fouled CC with the intention to injure her because it was the only way to take CC out of the game. This year the thugs have won and won't be watching ny basketball until April. It's a real shame that the WNBA dropped the ball and not to leave out some of the wourst officiating I have ever witnessed.

      @@erob1962 It seems that once again you lump all CC fans in the same category. I have watched basketball since the time of Magic and Bird, thru the MJ era, the Kobe era and into the LeBron era. One thing here that you are missing and that is the league itself does not like CC because she does not fit their narrative. I myself can care less what your skin tone is or your sexual preference is, but when you attack them for what they are doing or have done for the league, and is showered with props for it that is, and it not fitting the narrative is a dorm of racism. So please keep your TDS to yourself, and away from the game. If you do not like her I care less but I am not going to sit back not giving her the flowers she deserves since it seemed that most players in the league along with the officials were working against her and the Fever. She was beat up severely this season, and has been guarded unlike any other rookie in the history of the WNBA and yet when the season was over she has 62 records in her back packet. Unlike others in this league, she is the AP Unanimous ROTY, and the WNBA should take note.

    • @yankee_tango
      @yankee_tango 5 дней назад +1

      @@justliberty4072 No not at all, I am referencing the noise outside of the sport itself. The league as whole as well as the players have not acknowledged, that she is the one who brought the eyeballs to the league, and they have not recognized this. The owners may have, her teammates have (save for one), but the rest of the players have not, it is simple economics, putting an ass every 18 inches generates revenue.

      True with a caveat . They are my two favorite players . Fate played a hand in the matchups. They played two different styles of ball. Larry was great to watch, as we had seen plays that no one had ever attempted before or to the degree which he executed. Michael was a born phenomenon. Athleticism to spare. The most innately gifted player . They are the two GOATS .
      As Pat Riley was quoted - The best you’ll ever read if you’ve not read it before.
      The question was framed “ Who do you think is the best player in the NBA ? “
      Riley’s answer.
      “ If it was to win a game, it would be Michael Jordan.
      If it was to save my life, it would be Larry Bird “
