Great Video! I think signed authentic shirts with the real sponsors and badges are worth the most. And the best are signed Match Worn Shirts. I only buy signed shirts if it’s authenticated with Beckett or PSA, Or from a charity auction. Try to avoid the boodleg/fake shirts… are not worth like an investment. Those are more like decoration
Yes!! Great advise!! Thank you for that!! I agree that the fake shirts will probably be best just for decoration. My KDB one is one that I will always keep which is why it does not bother me that it’s a bootleg but thankfully it is authenticated so that’s a plus!
Idk, I’m a highschool student and all my money that isn’t going towards food and gas goes to my jersey collection. I have a messi and Pele jersey rn, and for basketball I have Giannias and muggsy bogues, for football I have Adrian Peterson Michael Vick and rgiii, idk, I think they are worth the money, worst that happens is I lose interest and sell them, I framed them all, and they have all gone up in value from when I spent.
Yeah especially Pele. If you have a used napkin that was signed by Pele and verified, it will be worth something especially now that he has passed away. That's awesome that you have all that! Hope you don't ever lose interest!
Where do you buy signed stuff
I picked up 4 signed soccer jerseys off eBay. All have a COA but none of the companies are well known. Is that a red flag? I’ll probably send them all into Beckett or take them to a local memorabilia store.
It really depends on if you actually really like that player enough to pay for a signed jersey, at least thats how I see it, I have a bunch of signed ones but only mexican players I idolize lol

Replica Shirts are also real shirts. Calling them fake or bootleg makes more sense.
The whole area of signed and match worn shirts appears to be a minefield. To me not worth the risk or cost. Personally I would get much more joy from actually meeting the player and getting signature, at a game or official signing etc. That way it would have more personal value to me.

Yeah I mean that is a lot of money to spend all at once! But if it’s worth it to you then it’s worth it! If you’re not fully convinced to drop that kind of money then it’s not worth it. You can always just get his jersey with his name on the back and then hope maybe one day you’ll get the opportunity to get it signed by him! I know that’s a stretch but it can happen!
