There are many, equal or better drummers than Neil.
Exactly there are...in fact I played drums myself during my prime years in my hometown, all though today I play, guitar and some bass....but still love drums...been listening to drummers since Billy Cohen, ...all the way through Buddy, Aldridge, Alex, Castronovo, Alex EVH....even Phil Colins, but most admired...Rick Allen ..one hand drummer..all great but, all had in common a drum drill during solos, you woud choose who ran it better...Neil would put up a drill plus a musical concept on drums, various toms tones hit at the right moment..is what I described as a Drum Concert...plus the setup...thats what makes him the greatest..today we might have a probaly Neil growing...6 year old named Baby Drummer....creates his own squence and details on the pc then follows through, plays with great feeling... Cant say I know alot but seen pretty much to figure it out. By the way, had the priviledge to see Neil live at my home town....unforgetable experience.
