Sam what an amazing locomotive review!! Super excited you picked up one of these! I just picked up my 2926 and I'm super excited also thanks for the channel shoutout!! Happy Railroading 🚂!!
Hi Sam, great review. I had pre-ordered the Santa Fe blue goose and have just received it. They are great looking engines. As I opened the box and proceeded to unwrap the plastic wrap something fell on the floor. When I looked down, I saw that the rear axle of the trailing truck was laying on the floor. After investigating I saw that the plastic clip that holds the axle in place was broken. This did not happen during shipping because there was no damage to the box. Likely happened during assembly. So now I will have to contact the dealer and explain what is wrong. Now I have ended up with the blue goose blues. I'm disappointed.
I appreciate the comment. Sadly, this happened to a friend of mine's engine. This smoke unit also started to have issues after the review. Maybe some better quality control could've been implemented, but to the engines that came out good, they're worth it
Wait a minute, how do you know MTH has the more realistic blue goose? Lol from what i understand, nobody knows because there's no color photographs of the prototype. It's just word of mouth.

Can't wait to see it! Had to shout out the guy who's channel name matches the engine he's getting lol
Great review, Sam! More models should come with the interchangeable smoke stacks!! - Ryan
I think it would be cool to see more engines like that, yes!
Sam this model slaps! I really should get one in the future!!
You need to! Lionel did a great job with it
Awesome engine Sam.
Thank you!

There are a couple of pictures out there, or paintings that depict what it looked like
