Received, installed and tested. Great product. Fits flawlessly, extremely light, seems very durable and now I don't have to tape the switch to the handguard anymore. Oh yes, and it doesn't get hot. Very happy customer.
You guys are absolutely knocking it out of the park with the product releases! And Mitch is a world-class presenter. Seriously dude, it is a joy to watch you explain everything, you are so well spoken and professional!
Thank you! Mitch does a fantastic job with these product videos. There's a ton of work done behind the scenes and we're glad to be able to present these finished products to you all!
I really like the way it's integrated to the existing Beretta heat shield. I don't like the looks of the Zhukov version (plus it looks like a PITA to put on). The wire management system is a bonus. I can see it being sectioned and made mountable to a pic rail for other weapons.
Love it. Love almost everything about it. Just, why doesn’t it go all the way to where the receiver meets the barrel? The lines of the heat shield that beautifully mate to the grip / handguard kinda just END suddenly an inch from the receiver. I know it’s merely a cosmetic thing but it stares at me.
Looks like a nice design, but let me know when you make it available for more shotgun models then just Beretta. How about Mossberg, Remington, Benelli?
Awesome stuff! Is there still a way to mount this with a match saver installed? If so I would love to see it covered in a video if at all possible. 😎🐾🤙💝🇺🇸👊🔥 Thx guys!
@brianclevenger5521 me too. 😢 I even paid for the expensive stipple version. Unfortunately I have to admit that I like the A300 Patrol forend better. I knew I should have waited before ordering that Aridus part. Waste of $300. Wonder how much I can get for it lightly used?
Another cool LTT shotgun product. I hope the next release will be a good QD sling solution for the A300. The built in QDs are not working for me. The shotgun flops around where ever it wants to go.
This version doesn't require removing the heat shield to clean the barrel and the carrier assembly. I assume the Zhukov version doesn't have that luxury and needs to be completely disassembled to clean?
Is there any chance we might ever see something like this for the “pump” guns? I have a Mossberg 590A1 that I’d LOVE to have something like this for. I use the “C Clamp” technique without issue. Just have to slightly loosen your grip when running the action… 🤞🏻
It's amazing how aftermarket innovation, which is literally everywhere all the time, gets a company criticized for not thinking of it first. Nobody thinks of everything first. Ever.
Good idea. Now make an 8 round side saddle for the 1301 and A300. For some inexplicable reason nobody offers an 8 round side saddle and Velcro is a poor choice in practical use.
Does the heatshield mitigate enough heat to the point that I could mount a Sentry Strap to keep my sling further forward of the shotgun with it getting damaged or melted? And since some of the wire paths for the labyrinth system cross over some of the vent holes, how are the cables for lights going to be protected from heat? If the heatshield can satisfy both of my concerns, you can look forward to me ordering one from you real soon.
1. Yes it does! A sentry strap would work just fine. 2. The wires benefit from the heat shield the same way your hand does. They are minimally exposed to conduction, convection, and radiation, and we didn't experience any degradation of the wires in our testing.
Per the last statement in the video, will the heatshield in development eventually fit the Version 2 Zhukov forend? The LTT website says V1 only. Does that mean a solution is in development or that the V2 Aridus product will not be an option with this product?
This looks amazing! I’m curious if there is a way to use a match saver with this heat shield. Also is there a way to add the pressure pad mount separately or with the shotgun if you order the entire gun on your website?
Right now the pressure pad is just available with the heat shield or on the 1301 page as an upgrade. We will eventually have them for sale individually, but we were waiting because nobody has the heat shield yet so they wouldn't need the Modular Switch Mount by itself just yet. We're talking about potential Match Saver solutions.
Do the screws holding the shield to the forend screw into plastic or metal? Wondering if when they're removed to take the shield on/off to clean gas system over time, the holes could become enlarged or worn out?
There is a metal tab you insert into the heat shield. The screw goes through the heat shield and into the metal tabs. Check out this video for more info: ruclips.net/video/_HWk8wH1jlo/видео.html
So, since your LTT 1301 Tactical package comes with a modified Zhukov forend, the heat shield isn't available for those yet, correct? Also, you mentioned the Streamlight switches work with the new shield...I've always used the HL-X rail mount and housed the switch in a Cloud Defensive LCS adapter for pic rail...can the HL-X switch be mounted directly with your system, with no need for the LCS mount? And can the light switches be mounted at different points along the shield, or only in one position? It's hard for me to tell exactly how it's mounted in the video.
It is actually available now. We didn't think it was going to be ready for launch, but it is. You will not need the LCS with our Modular Switch Mount. Our system will be lower profile, and our Labyrinth Cable Management System has many more options for cable management.
A match saver can be added to the Beretta heat shield by using a longer screw. The thread pattern is 10-32, and the standard length is ¼”. If someone wants to add a match saver, we recommend that they measure its thickness, add ¼”, and order that length of 10-32 screw.
So guessing if you’ve already drilled for a match saver you’ll have to get a new handguard along with the shroud so the mounting hole is in the correct position.
You could set it in direct sunshine in AZ for just a few mins and then get a distinctive waffle iron brand on your hand. If its metal, it will burn you. If it's black metal, it will burn you quickly. If you were in AZ for three hrs in the summer, you were inside.
Not sure why you didn’t include a simple heat test of several shots through the shotgun and then using a basic thermo gun to prove the actual temperature of the barrel. It would have been so easy and more effective than the verbal description only.
That's a very well thought design. If I ever buy myself a 1301, one of those heat shields is going on it for sure.
Received, installed and tested. Great product. Fits flawlessly, extremely light, seems very durable and now I don't have to tape the switch to the handguard anymore. Oh yes, and it doesn't get hot. Very happy customer.
Like that LTT is always innovating.
Always!
I appreciate this type of innovation.
Thank you!
This, just days after finding out about the Fastback optic mount is so cool. Both minor criticisms I had with my A300 solved perfectly in one week.
Love to hear it!
Now that is a sweet 1301 upgrade!
We're biased, but we agree.
Very interesting, additional colors would be a cool feature. But overall a very cool product.
The Labyrinth design is very well thought out. I think it'd do well in an MLOK and Picatinny cover as well

Such an awesome and useful product. Can't wait to put one on my LTT 1301.
Thank you!
Labyrinth looks interesting, I had been using ranger bands / bike tire tubes to secure my wires.
just bought one of these 1/50 version. very happy with the purchase. wish the case that come with shotgun is better. thanks,

Mad respect for what you’re with USPs I will send you mine next year to get the optics cut and trigger job
Will there be different colours? Tan and OD would be nice.
What cable thickness works best with this system?
It's just black for now. We've tested it with all the main light manufacturers, and their cables fit perfectly.
I definitely would like to see it in OD Green
Looks like a nice design, but let me know when you make it available for more shotgun models then just Beretta.
How about Mossberg, Remington, Benelli?
I’m in for a Zhukov version. Great work guys,
Thank you for the support! Let us know what you think when it arrives!
Order placed! I've been looking for some kinda heat shield for months, and didn't like the Zhukov one. Gj LTT!
Thanks for the support. You're going to love it!
This is a sick product. I wish your Gilbert location had a show room, I was only able to check out your stuff when you guys were at CanCon
Thank you! Maybe someday we'll have a storefront. There are several local dealers who carry our products.
Awesome stuff! Is there still a way to mount this with a match saver installed? If so I would love to see it covered in a video if at all possible. 😎🐾🤙💝🇺🇸👊🔥 Thx guys!
Okay, y'all got my attention. I'll have to wait for the Zhukov version, but I love the innovation.
The Zhukov version is available now on the website! It was finished ahead of schedule.
@@Ared1lb1535 My luck ran short. I have the newest Aridus adapter and the heat shield won't fit.

@@LangdonTactical Perfect, thank you!
Would we ever see a Benelli M4 compatible heatshield? Preferably one that may still able to utilize the original polymer clamshells?
Love it, good work LTT team. Are there any plans for a Mossberg 940 version?
Thank you! No plans for Mossberg as of now.
Another cool LTT shotgun product. I hope the next release will be a good QD sling solution for the A300. The built in QDs are not working for me. The shotgun flops around where ever it wants to go.

Very innovative and thoughtful combination of design and materials. Great work! Is this compatible with the factory 1301 hand guard?
Only if you have a 1301 mod 2
Is it compatible with the Zukov foregrip? Damn Briley foregrip I got does the job but it's just too much weight up front.
It's amazing how many things need fixed from Beretta
What have you designed that’s perfect?
It's amazing how aftermarket innovation, which is literally everywhere all the time, gets a company criticized for not thinking of it first. Nobody thinks of everything first. Ever.
Good idea. Now make an 8 round side saddle for the 1301 and A300. For some inexplicable reason nobody offers an 8 round side saddle and Velcro is a poor choice in practical use.
Because Velcro shotgun cards can be swapped easily, can have many preloaded. As compared to fixed side saddle.
I'd really love to see an improved magazine tube cap that won't loosen under recoil. Like the one on the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus.
Fantastic! Any plans to make these in other colors like FDE?
Possibly in the future. Just black for now.
I just got my Langdon Tactical 1301 last week. It came with a magpul hand guard modified by gg&g. Will this heat shield fit my hand guard?

That is an AWESOME heat shield any plans to have one available for the Toni Systems MLok Handguard Forend for the 1301?
No plans currently.

There is no version 2 Zhukov forend, just the V2 adaptor from Aridus. We are not planning on making a different heatshield for that V2 Adaptor.

Do you guys have plans to make a Benelli M4 or Midwest Industries Benelli M4 variant???
We are going to look at that. It will take some time.
Looks awesome, does that little section of barrel where it meets the receiver not get hot?
Thanks! It does, but we didn't design it to cover the entire barrel. It's designed to cover the part that your support hand would be touching.
Need one for Benelli M4 Entry, the 14inch one.
Great content !
Thank you!
This is really awesome. Is this going to come standard on all new LTT shotgun or as an option to add on?
This is now an add-on option on the 1301 page. You can get it individually or add it onto a 1301 build.

We do sell one for the Midwest Industries hand guard for the 1301. It does not fit the Aridus V2 handguard adaptor.
