He won't leave them a bundle of money when he dies but they will have already got it before he dies and they will be educated by him already in how to best to utilise that money so they can educate their kids like he educated them on how real money works
I recall as a kid my father worked for a company that was directed by a self made man who was famously astemious in his personal spending habits. He owned three companies in my hometown and was considered fair but strict with his employees. Unlike many less monied middle managers and fake wannabes this guy did not socialise much, eschewed credit and drove modest middle sized cars all his life. His fortune was inherited by his son who was completely different. Spent like a sailor, got on with nobody and made his employees lives hell. The three companies were sold off to pay for his extravagant lifestyle and the 3rd generation were left to pick up the pieces. Very few families can pass wealth down through the generations but this is how many Eastern rich people have survived and prospered through the ages. Clongowes Wood is one of Irelands best private schools and MOL went there himself as a child. MOL also owns Gigginstown Stud, well known to the racing fraternity, so it is not surprising that his family would have an interest in agriculture.

They'll have what he said, enough to be comfortable to start off, but if they want to maintain that lifestyle they won't have an infinite amount of money in the bank... they will have to work so that they can keep what they have. The more you have, the more it costs to maintain. Now imagine his son has what he said, he gets married and has kids... does he just sell off bits of his existing assets and watch his standard of living erode as he gets older, or is he incentivized to make his own money. If he's anything like his Dad it will be the later. One person below wrote this more succinctly than I did - ''Yes a good outlook in life, his children will still have a good start anyways''
Give a man a fish... He will eat for a day... Invest in him by buying him a fishing rod & teach him to fish Contracted 10% of catch for life to you.. He eats for life And doesn't regard himself as a charity case!

I wonder if they will inherit the extra payment for sitting next your kids? Or the extra payment for taking on a bag? Or the extra payment for a tea? Or the extra to take a wee? Oh!? Didn’t you know? That’s next!

They won't get a bundle of money they'll just get farms, property, stocks etc lol
