zhleia it’s not actually, sitting down is what makes high notes easier, completely laying down can place you out of breath and unable to hit the high notes unless you are trained well

It also releases tension in the entirety of our body and aligns our head, neck, and back. Tensing up, twisting and turning, lifting the chin, and shallow breathing are usually want prevents high notes from coming out or causes them to crack and fail. And of course, standing is always preferred over sitting when it comes to belting high notes. The best those high notes sounded during this performance was when she was lying down!

Genesis Green yeah actually it does help a lot I used to be trained for dancing and vocals for about 13 years and when I first start training for high notes they used to lay us down and put something heavy on our stomachs it helps a lot

Pop Kitty I trained for vocals and dancing all my life pretty much and yes actually it was the hardest thing that I had ever did and I absolutely hated it breathing control and stamina is insanely important and insanely hard to reach the level of kpop Idols I needed to train for it for about six years be to passes as "acceptable" so I can't imagine what they go through to be a stable as they are right now

So it kinda showed how when u started realizing u were LGBtq+ u try to run away from it cuz of society, and hide it, but when the 2 performers started getting closer with all the colors of the rainbow on them, it reminded me of how they were embracing their lgbtq+ and not to be ashamed

It's crazy to me that she held a mic for the entirety of this. Why not wear a headset?
Halsey does not project as much and so the tech would have to change audio detection to a high, and considering the dance number is very contemporary her breaths would be exaggurated through the mic. So a handheld gives her control to what goes through and what not (long breaths)
Wellll. Uh that. And the fact that 1/2 of the dance moves involved her head so a headset would have been harder to accommodate.
