Great video, I’m about to get a bike and just want to make sure I have a good lock so my bike doesn’t get stolen

My cable lock is broke and I can't lock it anymore since the lock inside was disfigured because of multiple lock usage. I'm thinking about trying to use U Lock but I'm not sure how can I carry it around me while cycling.

Most U Locks come with a bracket you can mount on your frame to carry it around, my wife carried it on the rear rack on her bike which worked good on her small frame

If you want to use a lock to use then choose one with the least amount of weakness and methods it can be opened with. Ideally you should only be able to pick it or open it with a grinder. Cable locks belong in the bin.

Most chain locks are only 2 lbs?

A chain lock would probably start around 2lbs and go up based on size of the chain.

This is what I use for a standard cable lock. I think it's about 10mm with a braided cake www.amazon.com/Kryptonite-KryptoFlex-Double-Bicycle-Security/dp/B000NOO3ZQ/ref=asc_df_B000NOO3ZQ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312111916046&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3727586263870357820&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030893&hvtargid=pla-459174484034&psc=1
