So crazy seeing people who own SO many houseplants that started collecting years after me.. I've been "collecting" houseplants since 2011 but I still only have about 72 (last time I counted) ...Over the years you really learn which plants truly bring you joy and which ones you only have because they're "trending". Great video, love a good houseplant tour (:
72 is still a lot! 😂 But I totally agree. I’ve really found what type of plants I enjoy now and much more selective with what I choose to take into my home. The houseplant craze of the last two years is indeed crazy 😂 Thank you so much for the comment, and glad you enjoyed the video! 🙏🏼
Only 72?! Looks at my 6
So many beautiful plants! Loved your home plant tour. Thank you for telling us the window exposures as you give information on the plants. This is very helpful. You can tell you’ve put a lot of work in to your collection. Well done!! 👌🌿🥰💚
Awh Peggy thank you so much for the lovely comment. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and it was useful! 🙏🏼 It’s really so nice to be able to share them, love them so much 🥺 Thanks for stopping by 🌻✨🤍
Omg the casual 74% humidity with no humidifier on 😭 pleaaaase do a pest control/prevention routine video!
Hahaha a very humid Ireland indeed! Lucky 🍀 I will for sure add that to my list 🐞
Do humidity cause pests issues??
You have good lights in your room! 👍❤️
Yes I love them! 😍
Plant tour videos are my favourite! Thank you for showing us your beautiful collection!
Awh thank you so much! I’m glad that you enjoyed 🥰🤍
This was absolutely wonderful 😊 Thank you for sharing your lovely plants🌿💕✨
Awh and thank you for the lovely comment, I’m really glad you enjoyed it ✨🥰🤍
Really a beautiful collection of plants😍😍 loved watching the video
Awh thank you so much, I’m so glad you enjoyed! 🥰
Wow!!! You have the most beautiful and colorful plants! Love them all 😍
Awh thank you so much Gloria! ✨☺️🤍🙌🏼
Beautiful, beautiful plants you have! Such a treat seeing so many of your plants in bloom and reblooming for you. You seemingly get lots of natural light in Spring n Summer, that's fortunate since Ireland doesn't get much in Winter. Thank you for taking the time to share your gorgeous collection, it's much appreciated. God bless!!😇🙏
Awh thank you so much!! Yes the skylights definitely help 👌🏼 And in winter the grow lights help them along enough 😂 I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the lovely comment. Happy growing! 🙏🏼🤍✨
Absolutely gorgeous 😍😍😍, plants!!!!🌻
Thank you so much! ✨🥰🤍🎉

Thank you so much for the lovely comment 🥺✨ Really appreciate it! Happy growing to you as well 🌻☺️🤍
Re semi hydro - all mine are in lecca, but if in doubt I stick a plant in water to grow water roots whilst shedding old roots, once they have enough water roots (2-3 months) I then put them in lecca. Big Alocasias, syngoniums, all aroids, pothos, large number of philodendrons, hoyas, anthuriums, pepperomias and some prayer plants all do well .... But I give them a better chance with water roots. Been semi since Nov 2020, not had any pests and watering schedule is easy
Thank you so much for the tips!! Any of the plants shown in leca were done this away, by letting the roots adjust to water first, or they were already growing in water, as I’ve heard it’s the best way ✨ I’m still trying to get used to the flushing and I feel like I need to monitor pH a bit more closely 🤔 The no pests thing is definitely an incentive to convert!
@@amyadwan I'm quite lazy so I flush once a month max and use distilled water so don't bother using pH meter as I test ad hoc and it always starts around 5.5 approx (although I have a pH and a TDS meter). Every couple of months or so I'll give all the plants a soak bath with distilled water in my toddler's old baby bath, overnight, as if they're bottom watering, I fill up quite high - this ensures that excess minerals drain out, its better than flushing fortnightly as you can get shed loads done over night... Easy for me to say I've stopped at 50 plants but when we move I suspect it will go much much higher.... I'm always trying to find easier ways to enjoy this passion.
Your accent is so satisfying
Haha thank you very much!
Very beautiful plants, much love for that verrucosum and Fiesta!

I keep my Hoya Rotundiflora in leca, very humid. It loves water, it is growing non stop in a South facing window.
I’m beginning to realise it’s much more thirsty than I expected it to be 😂 Maybe I could move it to more light too! Thanks for the info 🙏🏼

Hi there, could u tell me exactly wat type of poles u use, or sticks, or will the sticks will eat away? Or u use bamboo?? Ty, PJ Cimorelli
Hello PJ! I generally use old sticks or branches I’ve found out in nature near my house, some small scale left overs from storms here have been enough. They will definitely rot over time in the pot (you can seal them with something if you’re not lazy like me! 😂) but by the time it’s due a repot it seems to do okay 🙏🏼
Beautiful collection!!!! And your poor rhaphidophora tetrasperma!! 😭 it was SO lush! I feel your pain!
Thank you Marissa!! I know, it cut me deep not gonna lie 😂😂 Hopefully I can nurse it back and get it looking good again!

Good evening maam ! New friend is watching your very amazing video ..
Thank you so much for watching! 🥰✨🤍
You have nice and pretty collection of plants, im just starting to collect more haha
Thank you so much! ✨ Haha well enjoy the journey 🥰
Yes my friend, more plants coming see u around
You have a beautiful houseplant collection. I have all of my houseplants in LECA - I transitioned most of them last summer & this year they've taken off. Adonsonii absolutely thrive in LECA - they're very hungry for water & nutrients. I found my plants to do better in the self watering pots rather than nursery pot & cache pot - quite an expense to upgrade but I think the roots get more oxygen as the base of the net pot is away from the cache pot. LECA all the way for me - no pests & no underwatering or plants dying 👌
Thank you so much ✨🤍 that is great news, I really hope my adansonii thrives in leca as well ☺️ I am so used to soil now that it’s definitely a shift in thinking, but excited for the journey 😁
Ooo have you done a care video on the begonia luxurians yet? I've got one too and it HATES ME hahaha
Haha not yet no!! It’s so temperamental and hates me sometimes too 🤣
Your hoya looks great for Iceland condition
Thank you very much! ✨ However I do live in Ireland 🇮🇪

Hello! Thank you so much ✨🤍 That really means a lot, I’m so happy you enjoyed it 🙏🏼 Welcome!
Your plants are all so gorgeous and well cared for. You can see the love that you've put into every single one of them! ❤️ Also, do you have any care tips for your Philodendron Nangaritense? I've had mine for a bit and seems to be doing alright but I can't seem to find much info on this lovely plant. I treat it similar to my Melanochrysum. 😊
Awh thank you so much for this lovely comment! 🥹🤍 About the nangaritense, I found out since that it’s actually the Philodendron sp. Fuzzy petiole. It seems it’s commonly been sold as the wrong thing. This may or may not be the case with yours! But otherwise - I treat it similar to my other philos! But with this I find it doesn’t like to dry out too much 🫢
You have so much green “eye candy”! Your plants look so healthy and beautiful. I had no idea that the true monstera deliciousa had ruffles. There are so many that are mislabeled, of which I own a few. Now I feel the need to hunt one down.
Thank you so much! 🥰 I believe with M. deliciosa the ruffles are also to do with the level of maturity of the plant, so I could be wrong if it’s not a separate cultivar, and maybe it’s that the bigger one I have is just older. Either way, they are beautiful! 😍
New planty sub here! I absolutely adore your collection! I just recently moved to Sweden so I’m slowly growing mine and loved getting inspo from this video 💚 where do you get your plants from?
Hello and welcome!! 🥰✨ Thank you so much for the lovely comment. Hope you’re enjoying the plant journey 🌱 Over the years I’ve gotten them from so many places it’s hard to say - but a mix of online shops in the eu as well as garden centres in Ireland, or even swaps with other plant people ✨
Gaganda ng mga indoor plants salamat sa pag share
Had to use google translate for this but thank you!! ☺️ Salamat!
Awesome collection! I love your pots , are they just terra cotta but painted?
Thank you so much!! They are clay pots - I believe they call it basalt clay and it just has a different grey colour 🥰
Suppppppppppper 🌱👌👌👌
Thank youuuuuuuu 😁🌱✨
Здорово! Очень было интересно побывать у вас в гостях. хоть и не знаю вашего языка)))
Hello, just a little com to say that your collection is absolutely gorgeous...waouh ...really appreciate your plant tour🙏👍
Where do you live,if I may ask?I feel that you have a sort of "european " kind of plants,if that makes sense lol.
Greetings from France !😊
Hello! Awh thank you so much, I really appreciate it and I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🤍✨🙏🏼 I live in Ireland, so you’re right about Europe! But I like to think my plants feel like they are in a tropical paradise 😂😂
Yes, Hoya polynuera needs more water than most Hoyas. I have mine in a plastic pot potted in regular potting mix. My other Hoya are potted in cactus and succulent potting mix. So this gives you an idea now. :)
Ah thank you for the tips ☺️ Definitely feel like it would help me with it being in a plastic pot 🌻 Such a beautiful one and would love for it to bloom for me!
@@amyadwan It is a beautiful Hoya! I've had mine for over 3yrs now and it hasn't bloomed for me yet. I hear that it isn't an easy Hoya to bloom. I hope yours is happier and blooms soon. Good luck!
Muy bonito tu jardín Dios te ama 🇨🇴 bendiciones 🙏 Bogotá
Thank you so much! 🥺🥰✨🤍
My son has the cactus on the right he said it is called Mammallaria Tetrancistra.
Ah thank you so much! ✨🎉
So many beautiful plants..... do you need humidifiers for them? Like for the fancy philos and the Hoyas? Have never seen such healthy looking Hoyas.
Thank you! 🙏🏼✨ Honestly Ireland is so humid generally that I don’t use humidifiers during the summer months. It rains a lot here and I open the windows regularly 😂 I do have a great humidifier too but only really turn it on during the colder months when the heating is on 👍🏼
Hi a new viewer here I love all your styles of plants I wanted to know what do you clean your leaves with they shine so nicely
Hi Anna, welcome! Thank you so much 🥰 I have a video all about how I clean my plant leaves and what I use, up on my channel 🥰
Woww beautiful plant❤️💛💚Done tamsak👍New friend here..stay connected..
Thank you so much 🥰 And welcome! ✨🤍
74% humidity. You must be feeling like you are underwater! Your plants are so nice. Where do you live? I missed that.
Hahaha it’s humid here alright! 🤣 Ventilation is key lol. Thank you so much 🙏🏼 And I live in Ireland 🇮🇪🤍✨
Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection! For your anthurium clarinervium, what treatment did you use for the fungal/bacterial issues? I'm having similar issues with mine :(
Thank you so much for watching! ✨ Ok so I cut off the worst affected leaves (I did hear it’s best to cut all affected but didn’t want to!). As far as I know once a leaf has been affected you can’t bring it back - but you just need to prevent the spread. I increased the air flow in the area by adding a small fan. I then sprayed every week with a neem / water / soap mix and it seemed to clear up! I also regularly spray my plants with a diluted alcohol and water solution so that may or may not have helped too!
💚🌿
🤍✨🌻
My tip for lecca/semi hydro : when you transitioning plants get as much soil of the roots as you can, get it into water, let some water roots grow only then put it in lecca. Test your ph of the nutrient Solution.
Thank you so much for the tips 🎉 I’ve been doing that so far with the water roots and it seems to have worked well. However I’m not testing any pH and don’t have nutrients so I really have to get on it 😂
@@amyadwan
As far as I know the solution needs to have a certain ph for the plant to get the nutrients. Pls don’t quote me on that since I have no idea if that’s actually true
Wow i love all the plants you presented maam , i am a plant lover too , i enjoy watching till the end of your video and big like , hug done ok ? Stay connected ...
So happy that you enjoyed the video ✨🤍 Thank you! And good luck with your plants 🌱🙏🏼🤩
Waw Amy your plant and you are very beautiful .which potting mix you used and furtilizer .and pls tell me how can we grow plant in room without sunlight
Thank you!! I have a soil mix video on my channel so it is similar to that ☺️ Without sunlight you won’t have any luck, as plants need sun to make food! You could look into getting some grow lights if that would be available to you 🌻
Hi! Loved your video! Where did you get your wood for your climbing plants? Is it drift wood??
Hi Christina, thank you so much! 😍 Most of the wood I have here are from outside my house, we had a bad storm in Ireland at the beginning of the year so afterwards I took a walk around and picked up suitable branches. Anything will do really!
@@amyadwan cool! I was always worried about pests and stuff! I may need to try that! We're surrounded by woods!
@@christinarodriguez9994 martha.rodriguez110355@gmail.com 🇨🇴💚❤️🌱
Hi it's awesome , may i know what you using to clean leaves ? It's so shiny and wealthy?
Thanks very much! I have a video on my channel where I show what I do to clean my leaves 😁
I have a few nepenthe. They like it damp and distilled water is recommended. I spray mine a few times a week. I made a makeshift hot house for my babies (4 in 3” pots) by using a round casserole dish with an inverted glass salad bowl from IKEA. The base has damp sphagnum moss surrounding the pots. It is under a grow light for about 12 hours a day. They’ve tripled in size since I got them in January.
My older nepenthes just hang out on a East facing windowsill. I keep them in a little bit of distilled water (about 1/2”) and they are thriving. I never fill the pitchers with water. They produce their own juice and do a great job of catching insects. Some of the pitchers get pretty ugly and dried out, but they are still viable and continue to attract bugs. If you don’t care about their appearance the pitchers actually live for a long time. Hope this helps you.
Thank you so much for the useful comment Alisha! 🥰 This will help me a lot. At the moment I’m using rainwater only for my one and we will see how that goes. I love that hot house idea! 😍 I’m sure it looks absolutely beautiful too. Indeed some of the pitchers have dried up a bit, but I have no problem just leaving them alone. Really hoping it catches some of the fungus gnats 😂 Appreciate you taking the time to let me know your tips! 🙌🏼
If you can get a drosera (sun dew) they really clean up the fungus gnats. They are super easy to care for only needing to sit in a bit of water to keep them moist and a sunny window.
I like your collection.Very pretty.
I have some collections too but they are not as good as yours.
Btw, subscribed to your channel and clicked like.
Awh thank you so much for watching and for the support! ✨ Welcome ☺️ And I’m sure your collection is lovely 🤍
Your plants look like models, how do you get them so glossy?
Haha they don’t always look like this, but I will try to regularly wash them down in the shower and I use a soap / neem oil / water treatment as a preventative against pests - it also has the added benefit of making leaves shiny!
Love your collection! I don’t have slot of bright indirect light so I have to put up some grow lights.. I get very overwhelmed with all the grow lights out there..
can you tell me what you used to train your plants on the branches? Looks like tape? Thank you for sharing 🥰
I have an umbrella tree that started looking funny with the Chloric situation you showed, but mine had like yellow spots through out all the leaves.. I didn’t find pests either but treated and repotted .. we’ll see what happens 👍🏻
Nice video....
Thanks very much 🌻✨🤍
You should pot up your rotundiflora in terra cotta also, mine did nothing when in a plastic pot….potted it up into terra cotta and it pushed up growth right away, and now, never stops
Thank you for the tip! 🌱 Maybe that’s what’s been stopping it all this time
💝💝💝
😁🌸✨🤍
Очень красиво,обожаю ароидные.
👍👍
🙏🏼✨
Absolutely LOVE your plant collection, I mean, I wish that was my home.
Awh thank you so much for the lovely comment 🥺🥰✨ Really glad you enjoyed it! I love a good pothos myself, easy to care for is the best 😂 Regarding nails - yes they are polygel! This was my first time trying it myself and it was rocky and thick af 🤣 Much more used to gels, I didn’t even think about the underneath until it was too late ! Lol but thank you for the tips - I’m getting better the more I try it out🤞🏼Appreciate it xx
You have a beautiful collection. My heart ached for the poor Peace Lilies, LOL They are one of my favorite plants, I have 3 or 4 different varieties. I really love your super thick walls and windowsills. Why are they so thick? My family came from County Down, I hope to get to visit your gorgeous country one day.
Thank you so much Lisa ✨ hahaha I love my big one but the little guy is gonna be donated 🤣 Awh thanks, yes I live in really an old traditional Irish cottage so the house is kept the way it was structurally about 100 years ago. I believe they made them like this to form a strong base for the large roof - and for the old open fires at ground level which we also still have. It also keeps an interesting temp regime 😂 I really hope you can get to visit too!! Thanks for watching 🌻✨
For more thripes
How do you water your Spanish moss? You said you "dunk it". Do you dunk the whole plant, or just the top where the growth comes from? 😃❤🌿
Haha yes I basically submerge the full thing in water! I will leave it in room temperature water, let it soak for maybe 20 minutes, and then hang it up to dry before putting it back in it’s normal spot 🥰✨ Hope that helps!
@@amyadwan thanks! Yes it does!
Could you give me some tip how to take care for tradescantia, my turn brown leaves. Thanks
Yes I actually have a tradescantia nanouk care tips video on my channel! It’s the video that was uploaded before this one. Thanks for watching! 🌻
Thank you for sharing your hoya👍You got subscribe fr lola celia’s garden
Awh thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed, and welcome ✨🌻🥰
Love your content 💚🪴 Where do you get you big branches from, i have woods behind my home, but im worried about bringing bugs into my home via the branches..!?!?! Help 🤣
Thank you so much 🥰✨ Haha I get mine from outside the house here in Ireland, we had a big storm earlier in the year so afterwards I walked around and picked up suitable branches. Usually what I do is spray the crap out of them with a hose outside, then leave them to fully dry out for a day or two indoors. After that I’ll inspect them a bit for any bugs but haven’t found any so far 🤣
@@amyadwan Thanks so much il be going on a stick hunt when i get home from visiting family, and il follow your lead lol will let you know if i end up with termites 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Take care 🙂
Beautiful house plants, my question is what is the total i mean how many plants do you have all in all in your home,???
Thank you so much ✨🍃 Honestly I’m not 100% sure of the total, it’s been a while since I counted 😅 Over 100 for sure!
@@amyadwan hehe thnks for the reply I want more indoor plants but i have no space here in our lil house, 🏠🤔🙂
what do you treat spider mites with?
I usually use a mixture of treatments, I will spray regularly with a very diluted alcohol and water solution. Then I will also use Heart Shaped Leaves method (she has a great YT video on this!) - which is with a neem oil mix and brushing down each part of the plant with an old soft makeup brush 🙏🏼
