One more thing I found out, when you fill to 250 bar, and the pressure goes down to 230 bar wait for about 10 minutes and then top it off. The heat from filling the bottle causes the air to swell because its hot, so after 10 minutes you can top it off or leave it at the 230 bar fill. That the way my gun works, some as I learned don't swell as much. Learning something new all the time in the air gunning/pcp world.

Hey. Good choice. I love owning my M3...even when I'm not shooting it. The ray gun was a gift from DARPA. It will give you anything you wish, as long as your intentions are pure. The first time you abuse it's power, the gun stops working forever.

Question. Why did you tune regulator 1 by unscrew the air bottle and didn’t do that normally by under bottle’s valve ?

Thanks vey much Nate. So helpful to get me started, only had the rifle a week. I have JSB Exact 18.13gr Jumbo Heavy. I have tuned my M3 .22 FAC Sniper 700mm barrel as you suggested, it's pellet on pellet. Yes, only close range as I am unable to venture out just yet to try longer range and drop etc. Do you have a tune for the FX Hybrid 22gr slugs? Thanks again for a brilliant, straightforward, but comprehensive video, so helpful.
Hey, no tune for that just yet. FX is going to send me slugs and the barrel liner....so I will get that tune eventually . If you email serviceusa@fxairguns.com they will give you the tune for those slugs. Alot of the bird killers on RUclips have those slug tunes as well. Thanks -Nate

Love your vids... thanks for making them. I followed your recommendation for the .22 25.4gr jsb's but IM only getting 789 fps. Any thoughts? When i dialed in the 18.13 grainers they work perfect but am not gettting same results with the 25.4grains.

Hello, thanks for your video. I don’t understand one thing…. Why do you put the macro wheel on 16 (for exemple) and move the micro? Is it not better to put the macro wheel on 8 and adjust the micro? Like that you can move up and down from this tune if needed. Thanks for your help 👍😊
it's from the FX tech manager Melissa...If you only had 8 on that wheel, you would not have enough air for that pellet. It's a balance between all 5 adjustments for each pellet.

Yes, I'm keeping it. I always knew my journey would end with an Impact. It happened sooner than I had planned. I got a good deal on that on off the airgun classifeds. There is also a waiting list in the USA. You have never been able to get an Impact without pre-ordering it. It's worth the wait. I'm getting all the calibers for this gun + slug barrels in each caliber. My all caliber M3 kit with will be worth alot when I'm done! I wonder if I could get a case to hold all that? Hello. I received in December 2021 my new FX Impact M3 Sniper .22. I have a question. Is it normal that during the night, when I turn off the heating, the next morning, when it's 15 °, the gauge of my first regulator is at 165 bars instead of 150 bar. I take a shot and the regulator is again positioned on 150 bars. Last night I left the heating on and the first regulator did not move, it remained on 150 bars. Thank you .

I have a Gamo Swarm G2 break barrel gun and really happy with it.
What dies it mean by the term 'bar'? I thought they would use terms like pounds of pressure lb?
One bar equals 15 PSI ... 1 bar = 15 PSI
After dry fire second also 2nd regulator is showing 160bar air . Bottle is detached and first regulator is showing zero.

Not sure. The 25gr tune was in the videos. Try to start there..get your ammo flying 890 fps.
If you tune the gun for example with a 25grain slug and u waant to shoot the 23grain slug at another power setting do I Need to adjust the Valve also or not
Hi, I received my FXM3 yesterday. And this video of yours helped me a lot. I have a question. Based on your video, I set the first regulator to 150 and the second regulator to 95. Well, I have to keep Pressure the Air cylinder gauge up to 150 bar or I should not let it fall below 95 bar.
Don't let it fall below 150 bar...also your gun should be tuned for 18.1gr pellets.

I too thought that as I was only getting 60 shots before I was going off the reg. It's not the 1st reg that you go by, it's the 2nd reg. In other words if your 1st reg is set @ 150 bar that just shows the amount of air pressure pushing the pellet, the 2nd reg is what should actually be the 1st, (if that makes sense) so if you have the 2nd reg set @ 95 then you wont come off the reg until it drops lower than 95. Also when the gun comes off the reg you will see a drop in fps. Use your chrony and you will see how it works. 1st reg for power increase/decrease, 2nd rep is for shot count. With my 1st reg set @ 165 and the 2nd reg set @ 110,Hammer spring wheel set on 8, micro set@ 3.5, and the valve adjuster set on 4th line, I get 3.5 mags (100 shots) before I have to air back up. With this setting my FPS are 955 to 960. Now that I know how to set/tune the gun based on the regs/valve adjuster I have pushed it to 1115 FPS. Pretty good for a 25 cal 600mm barrel.

Yes, The air gets hot, then cools down.

Hi I just received my M3 yesterday. my first regulator has dropped from 150 to 110. I just took it out of the box and shot about 10 shots. My bottle pressure is down to 110 also, when should I fill the bottle ?
Your reg is at 110 because once you go under 150 psi in the main tank,the reg will read the bottle pressure. Where would the 150 bar pressure come from with 110 in your tank? Fill the gun back up as soon as it reaches 150 bar in the tank..if not before.

Do you know if all the M3's from .177 to .35 are identical internally (i.e. hammer & valve springs, hammer weights, etc)? In other words, is the only difference between them the barrel, the pellet / slug probe and magazines? Thanks!
Yes,they are the same internaly. FX gives you a different hammer spring to install when you get a .35 barrel kit. That's the only difference and the 800mm barrel. also .177-357 are all reged at 150 bar front reg.

If you want to add speed to the pellet just turn the gun power up. The gun's power is adjustable.
Hi question for you my m3 1st Regulator gauge moves around too much up and down from 130 to 160 and it takes alot of time to settle. I think that why i getting variable speeds from 870 to 905 i notice that yours settles rightaway 4:13 after each shot. any idea what could be the problem?
It sounds like you're gu. Is screwed up. If you're able to call the place that you bought it from. They will tell you. Or call the check department at Utah airguns. Or you can email FX

about 30 bar they say, but reg one is at 150 for all calibers. and the reg 2 is many diffent pressures according to caliber and pellet tune..so 30 is not a rule.

How many shots are you getting with your gun ? I'm getting 60 shots with 1st reg set @ 160 and the 2nd reg set @ 110. valve adjuster set 4 .5 lines my hammer spring wheel set @ 12 and the micro set @ 3.5. My FPS avgs between 955-960. I have the 25 cal with a 600 mm barrel. They advertise that the gun gets 130 shots so I guessing that with the hammer spring set on 2 or 3 and the micro set @ 1 or 2. Other than shot count, I'm happy with the gun. IT'S A LAZER JUST LIKE MY CROWN CONT.
I also get 60 shots per fill. Only shot the 18.1gr tune so far

@@AirgunChannel Don't know why FX doesn't tell us that the 2nd reg is the reg to use for shot count not the 1st. The 1st reg is for power tuning the 2nd is for shot count. After learning this, I now get 98-100 shots (3.5 mags) before I start to fall off the reg. I was thinking the 1st reg was what you use but its the 2nd reg. So I never was falling off the reg. So with the 2nd reg set @ 110 and the 1st reg set @ 160 valve adjuster out to 4, hammer spring wheel set on 8 and the micro set to 3.5, I'm getting 955-960 FPS avg and 98 shots with room to tune it for even more power, but probably less shots. I did test it with everything on max and it threw out 28 grains @1115 FPS so yes it has the power and for a 25 cal with a 600 mm barrel thats pretty dam good.

Resultó ser 933 FPS con pellets JSB de 18,1 gr. Tuve que bajarlo un poco más a 890 FPS para obtener la mejor precisión. -Nate

What does the valve adjuster on the front of the gun do ? Does it add or decrease the power or just the air flow or what.
It ads and decreases power. It does adjust the air flow I think...not sure.

I have the 25 cal on order with a 600 mm barrel
Just don't set 2nd reg above 1st reg. Generaly I think reg 2 stays 30 bar under reg 1 at least. Reg 2 as high or close to reg 1 would be useless. .25 can will come with rear reg at 95.

The tune for 25.4 pellets on my m3 gave me 745 fps seems a bit low. I put my macro on 16 and micro on 5 6 lines out and got 815 fps. Is there something wrong with this m3?? I was expecting to see these 25.4 pellets at 880 to 920 fps. Or am I wrong??

1st reg. 150
2nd reg. 110
Macro wheel. 16
Micro wheel. 5
Front knob at 5.5 lines out.
910 FPS TO 920 FPS
FX 25.4 pellets

You don't need to go on the wheel to 16, any number is OK. Power wheel in 16 and micro wheel on 2 is equal to power wheel in 1 and micro wheel on 2. All that matter is the micro wheel, the power wheel is to make things faster and easier.
