Hey!! So like idk how to message you other than leaving a comment on here. Which i hope u see. But ive got some coins and i have no clue what they would be worth. Was wondering if you'd like to take a gander through them first. I have quite a bit. If u can email me or something i can kind of explain more and send u pictures. My email is.. justinftz48@gmail.com
The fact that this thing is a cheap tourist trinket is fine but the chinese maker knew what he was doing when he left the silver mark on the coin. He could have just as easily left it off as he did with the 10 yuan mark. Or if he wanted to be reputable he could have put a zinc mark on it to replace the silver one.
If it had a denomination on it, it's a fake Chinese COIN, majorly illegal in China (little side note: under Chinese law counterfeits of Chinese coins are illegal, but only if they're counterfeits of Chinese coins minted 1949 or later). But without the denomination, it's just a souvenir novelty medal, and thus not illegal under Chinese law. The Chinese government doesn't care about the fake silver mark. Whether he put the false silver mark on to fool people into thinking it was silver, or just copied it as it was part of the original coin design, will leave for others to decide.
Oh, "excellence" is in the eye & experience of the beholder. Ive been collecting for almost 40 years and thought the "excellent" bag was far from it. Buyer beware and NEVER buy anything sight unseen.
Looks like a D to me. The coin shop I used to go to in my home town, whenever they got a big lot of wheat cents, they used to search and take any key or semi key dates out and anything from teens and twenties fine or better out, but regardless of decade put everything else into a bin and you could scoop out your own. They would weigh it, you pay and go home and have a grand old time searching through them. It was super fun when I was a kid. Best coin I ever found was a 1910-s in VG. which at the time was like a 10 dollar coin. It's worth like 22 now. Not bad for the 3 bucks I bought the scoop for. Also found a bunch of coins that were worth the price of the scoop or more. I still have that 10-s, but have since upgraded the one in my official collection to an MS 62 RB piece, but I hung on to the one I found as a kid.

No, Silver is Diamagnetic so if anything it will be slightly repelled by the magnet. Even silver jewelery is generally mixed with copper so if you have "silver" that's attracted by a magnet it's almost certainly fake.
I think what youre talking about is the slight resistance the coin has when being slid down a magnetic surface. That is definitely true, but it should never ever even remotely stick to the magnet
Some silver jewellery may be attracted if it's "sterling" silver. Sterling silver must legally contain 92.5% silver (hence the .925 stamp) but the remaining 7.5% alloy can contain metals such as zinc and copper, which react VERY slightly to magnets
I think you missed that 1920 had a mintmark too. Looked like a D. On the 1916, it is hard to say from the video. It mostly looks like a D, but as you shift it, you catch an S sometimes.

True! It's a good test, but not foolproof!

My pleasure!
From what I have seen in your videos, grab bags = crap & profit for the dishonest seller and a loss for the buyer.

True
What do you think the cash value of the roll of pennies would be. 3 cents per?
It's usually 3-5 cents per coin
When using 18 k test I had a round turn the acid blood red. I lost the guide what metal turn it red?

I think if it goes blood red then it is silver.

William Baker the problem with the ping is if it’s authentic and in good condition you may damage it.

is a 1939 wheat cent worth anything?
