I have watched hours upon hours of Rudy's antics and I've never even played magic or even seen a magic card in real life. I still don't understand nearly anything about the game, yet here I am watching another video.
Seriously bro...check out MTG arena...it is free 2 play...but be warned, Once addicted, it is life long...you will stop...then come back...stop again...come back again, but it truly is the best CCG ever!
Hey Rudy, I just became a Patreon supporter and I'm going to buy my first ever MTG booster box/card this Friday. Can't wait to see what I get and to learn the game!

6:00 I was annoyed that you had a mythic pile there for no reason xD thanks
Khans. Best draft set of all time? So fun. My favorite was Gatecrash first print run boxes (or was it prerelease packs, forget). Could get two regular non-foil shocklands in one pack so awesome!!
Saw the thumbnail, and I'm thinking, wait there weren't any fetches in origins...were there? No, no there weren't. Also, love mantis rider! I use it in my budget jeskai counter-burn deck, and it does work!
When dragons came out, I went to my LGS, bought a single pack, got Kolaghan, bought another, got Ojutai, bought another, got Atarka, Bought another, got Silumgar, then moved on to Khans, got a Windswept Heath, bought another pack, got a 25 cent rare, and stoped about 80$ ahead.
Cool. I bought six extra Khans of Tarkir booster boxes back when they were playing, hoping they'd go up. Been very disappointed in that decision over the last four years. Maybe I'll get some vindication out of it.
Dragons should be carried by the Command cycle, especially Kolaghan's Command and Collected Company. Other than that, Sarkhan is a decent mythic price-wise. And you have the dragonlords as well, and Narset..
cheers from the future LOL WHAT a time it has been, 2022 will make this almost 4 years old and i still done know if everyone will be happy with fetchlands hah cheers
multiple reasons - first of all those are played mosty due to great combination dual lands (lands that produce two different mana). if you play a 3 color deck any singel fetch land can bring you any of the 3 colors you need. secondly you are thining your deck by taking out lands from it and therefore reducing the chance of flooding (drawing too many lands). last but not least - its the shuffle efect, f.e. brainstorm allows you to draw 3 and than put 2 cards from hand on top - basically to draw a card. if you are then able to shuffle the deck you effectively draw 3 and discard two (with the benefit of the 2 cards still being possible to be drawn later in the game)
I say we will see fetchlands again just because wizards needs to fill gaps and give value to a set such as Khan's. Probably be awhile before they do get reprints though.
OK, dudes, I'm pretty new to Mtg (my first set was Amonkhet, but I haven't been playing actively even since then, lol), so can someone explain what's the deal with "Magic Origins"? Was it bad or something? And, if so, why was it bad actually? Would be very grateful if someone could answer this question. No, really.
Origins has not aged well. The estimated value is quite low. However, I found the set fun to draft and I enjoyed using the set's cards in standard. I guess Magic Origins is bad only if you invested expecting to make money.
Love me some Siege Rhino #abzanmidrangestandard This set was outstanding for Standard, but lost all non-fetch value thereafter because it wasn't a heavy hitter in other formats. In contrast, DTK has significant eternal format applicability.
that Dragons box was extraordinarily good, and still didnt equal the value of the Khans box. you hit everything and they were still less than the 3 fetches you pulled.
*Rudy claims to be right* Several times admits there is not any value because they're not restricted. Also admits he would immediately sell them. That's not right Rudy
Rudy, you’re being naive and trying to hype the fetch lands. The next time we have a triple color plane they will reprint the fetch lands. Either that or they give us more powerful triple color rare lands. I don’t see that happening though. You probably have insider knowledge and you want to off load your boxes before the value drops.
[X] Rudy still pumping but not dumping.
[X] Still all about the fetch.
[X] 3rd day of Rudy double uploads.
[X] Another day without UMA.
Rudy is down to his last 10,000 boxes of khan's
Love how much content you produce, my man. Keep up the good work.
you mean khantent
@11:39 Card upside down in pack? Rudy caught resealing packs again!
desurgeon lol

Should try magic arena it's .... "free" to play
(Magic is never free 😂)
@@MeganSmite If you're lucky, MTG will only take your money. Otherwise, it will take your life and soul :P

@@danh7777 thanks for the heads up, I will have to give it a try for sure. Cheers buddy
Collected Company and Kolaghan's Command being rares really carries the price of the box.
yea i think Dragon's actually beat Khans here
So with Rudy opening these boxes of Khan's, will the fetchland prices drop? 🤔
You know what's wild though Rudy opens the 3 fetchlands that go with the 3 dragon lords he opened up
Khan’s of Tarkir box ~ $57.85
Dragons of Tarkir box ~ $94.25
Imagine them ever putting a Fetch in a duel deck like they did with Windswept Heath. I was shocked when they did that
Thats probably why they are so cheap
15:26 Yes, that's the good one!
That Dragons of Tarkir box was great but I would still choose a fetch land Kahns/FR all day long.
When I was first opening these boxes, I was hitting 5 fetches per box. then I started opening a year later and I was getting 3 per box.
Where's the flippin box topper?!?!
18:40 Rudy with the 4-second-life-lesson, thank you!
Rudy : There are a lot of dragons collectors out there
Dragons collectors at home :

That was a really cool block that i didnt knew about. Thanks for showing it. Keep em comming
That desolated lighthouse looked weird, and you forgot to open up the box topper
LMAO!! "Tape them together like toilet paper squares"
I am loving your videos everyday

jeez you make so many video's.. I've got 40 video's of you in my Watch Later List no joke!
Between you and O B I am constantly getting to live vicariously thru people with way more money than me! XD
Your troll thumbnails are on point my dude
3:19 was that a joker reference
I like the more calmed rudy
I enjoyed the whole block... was super fun had a blast playing those dragons!
I had a dragon lord ojiti prerelease edition and it was worth $45 when I traded it for a bulk rare
Haha Ya Dumbshit
Drew Biggah why so much butthurt?
Never underestimate the power of some of the cards in commander

upload combo! great videos so far Rudy!
Khans of tarkir was the set that got me into magic
Great boxes, I had a few cases of each but couldn’t hold back, I also purchased 200 of a single rare from this set and I was way off to spec it haha
Cool. I bought six extra Khans of Tarkir booster boxes back when they were playing, hoping they'd go up. Been very disappointed in that decision over the last four years. Maybe I'll get some vindication out of it.
Damn, remember old mono- red Sarkhan was 50+ bucks? Damn rhino days. All I got was a fistful of Anafenza's Heralds..
Dragons should be carried by the Command cycle, especially Kolaghan's Command and Collected Company. Other than that, Sarkhan is a decent mythic price-wise. And you have the dragonlords as well, and Narset..
Hitting the four most expensive cards in the set. I'd call that a win.
Sentimental Rudy is sentimental. Aka @the end credits.
in canada, sarkhan was selling for 50 at release peak. made a killing flipping those lol
Wish I had this luck with Boosters... Almost always get 50 cent rares.
cheers from the future LOL WHAT a time it has been, 2022 will make this almost 4 years old and i still done know if everyone will be happy with fetchlands hah cheers
if i can get khans at 90 dollars should i buy right away?
Good luck, patron.
Before watching I'd guess 36 ferches, 9 hairy arms, 3 Rudy's brothers and 2 floppy tacos.
No box topper?
No creepy rudy?
No lighthouses trolling you with reacharounds?
No third nut growing through rudys hand back into his eyeball?
1/10
ALL ABOUT THE FETCH!
could someone explain why you would sacrifice a land (and 1 life) to bring out a land?
multiple reasons - first of all those are played mosty due to great combination dual lands (lands that produce two different mana). if you play a 3 color deck any singel fetch land can bring you any of the 3 colors you need. secondly you are thining your deck by taking out lands from it and therefore reducing the chance of flooding (drawing too many lands). last but not least - its the shuffle efect, f.e. brainstorm allows you to draw 3 and than put 2 cards from hand on top - basically to draw a card. if you are then able to shuffle the deck you effectively draw 3 and discard two (with the benefit of the 2 cards still being possible to be drawn later in the game)
Also synergizes with certain abilities like landfall and delve
Rudy is the best
11:38 Rudy made a mistake when resealing.
Bump for another Kyle G!

Pricing some cards for a friend this morning and just happened to see that Mire is in fact $40.
WHERE IS THE BOX TOPPER
"Last couple of packs" .... About TEN packs left ....
Rudy counting.
WHERE'S THE BOX TOPPER LIGHTHOUSE?!
Khans! Best set!
Rudy with the double whammy double relevant video
Epic
Verlisify did furry. Stop harming animals
Just keep in mind that impact tremors, a common from dragons is still 1.10 market price on tcgplayer
Moral of the story. Sell back in the day like Rudy did.
Khans limited good, Dragons limited bad, that answers your question Rudy, get out of the basement
Damn rudy, I can't watch your all of your videos anymore due to their frequency xD Never thought it would come to this...
Sidisi is still like $9, not bad for a predominantly commander card.
love Sidisi in my Tasigur Deck =)
@@zzafrica87 I run a Scarab God mill deck with Sidisi in it, and I love it.
yes, scarab god was one of my last purchases, one nasty b*st*rd he is :D
Rudy ur the best
I just want a fetchland that gets basics only (untapped)
The rise of commander over the last year has increased the value or rubber banded the value of lot of these previously $1-$5 rares.
I say we will see fetchlands again just because wizards needs to fill gaps and give value to a set such as Khan's. Probably be awhile before they do get reprints though.
Rudy. Can I buy some Steem Monsters Cards from you? They're the wave of the future
TL;DR ... All of them 👍
Took my advice after the terrible land luck with fate reforged huh!? I don’t blame you, I would want revenge as well.

Dragons is the bomb. If only the non-fetchland cards in Khans and Fate were as good as DTK.
that Dragons box was extraordinarily good, and still didnt equal the value of the Khans box. you hit everything and they were still less than the 3 fetches you pulled.
I still buy Dragons of Tarkir I love the set since I collect dragons
Clickbaity title bro. You only did one box of Khans. Still I enjoyed it!
Bet the pain lands will be next
Bloodtained Mire from the cheapest Fetch in KTK to the most expensive, is this a joke?
What a gock.
No way, they called me GOK7NB in high school too!!! Kids can be so cruel.
Weird lookin box toppers rudy

55$ of "Good stuff" in strong Mythics and Rares + Bulk rares, not too bad.
