I just recalled the story early in the season where Nika Muhl was being treated badly by teammates. When grown ups can't agree to work together to provide a safe work environment for one another, that's toxic 101.
They wanted the spotlight and they got it-you know what comes out when the lights come on not only your greatnesses but your non greatnesses-comes out-more than likely you’ve more non- greatnesses than greatnesses.
One thing for sure is this league needs to be cleaned up. Baseball and Steriods of 1990s Nba drug use of 1970ish The Bench clearing brawls in NHL. NFL Spearing helmet to helmet causing crazy amout of concussions. Lets see if WNBA can clean up this craziness!
Caitlin Clark turned on the lights and left them on. Now we can see everything, the incompetent management in the WNBA, by letting things get out of hand and trying to sweep it under the carpet instead of taking action for the slightest infraction to the rules, letting players and coaches break the rules as they please, yes basketball is a physical game, but allowing players to assult others in the game goes too far, turning a blind eye to the poor refereeing is destroying the game, saying they are human they make mistakes, there were too many so called mistakes Cathy Englebert, and it's a mistake keeping Cathy in charge, this is what happens when you lose control over the league, there's a rule book, and there's sloppy enforcement of the rules, and if the allegations are true, and not just crybaby players crying wolf, then something has to happen, fast and decisive, cut the cancer out and start building the league and the teams.
I didn’t watch the WNBA once the Fever was out. And the WNBA from the top down is jealous, envious, petty and spiteful because CC is the superstar of the WNBA and not any of the lesbian activist side. From a game perspective; they need a balance and not become the boring NBA who only shoots threes and don’t play defense at all.
The irony is there is actually a storm brewing in Seattle right now. Schools closed and stuff. lol this place deserves a righteous wrath if I am Being honest.

Why I prefer face to face conversations. You can't feel people's energy and can tell if they are speaking the truth. Low vibrational brings try to bring others down to their level.
I know people think the drama in the W is cause their women, but I know the NBA has just as much drama. It's just hashed out among the team, the owners, or the Commissioner within their league. It rarely goes any further.
The NBA doesn't have coaches sleeping with their own players, and players from one team sleeping with the rivals of another team. The NBA doesn't have players deliberately trying to gouge each others eyes out and laugh about it. The NBA doesn't have corrupt and incompetent officials like the WNBA. The NBA doesn't have vicious gatekeepers like the WNBA. There's a HUGE difference.
I hear you. I agree with the thought of I will be here but I have to say this is so disappointing. I was so excited to watch the WNBA games when Caitlin came into the league. I went out and got everything I could to watch as many games as I could see and it is just so disappointing. They are such a mess I will however, try to be here to be watching no matter how frustrated I get lol or how much more frustrated
Gurantee this drama is going to bleed over to the Unrivaled league. Same players and same bullies. It won't go anywhere. How can you build fanbase in six weeks?
Hi @adrienneross I’m a big fan of your channel. But let’s give credit where it is due. Chicago Sun-Times reporter Annie Costabile broke this story. This is the very definition of mainstream media. Thanks to the enormous attention that Caitlin Clark has brought to the WNBA - which has given rise to a number of RUclips channels like yours, Ben Daniels, Mick Talks Hoops, Robin Lundberg, Chicks Dig Scars (to name just a few) - who have amplified the story, there is no way that it will be ignored. (I know your channel existed before CC but it kind of blew up with your excellent CC commentary.) This is good news for the WNBA. But we can thank mainstream media for this story. (Ben Daniels did a great video on this very topic in which he lambasted the WNBA’s alternative media, which doesn’t practice anything even approaching what could be called journalism, and gave excellent advice on who to follow for real reporting.) The same holds true for coverage of government and political leaders. (But I know we will never agree on that topic…)
Yes, yes, yes! She did. 💯 She needs alternative media to help keep the light on it. You notice the crickets, right? It can be lonely out there. And, as I'm pointing out, we keep feet to fire.
I heard some of his content blasting alternative media, but I don't agree with his take and his assessment about not being able to call yourself a journalist because you haven't made it big if you don't have a big name behind you. I work in the journalism field--not establishment, but well-known and impactful--so I caution anyone from pumping up establishment media and minimizing alternative media. People are moving away from that. But he's entitled to his opinion. Costabile seems reliable, of course, which is great. But my point and that reality can coexist. I'm not saying alternative media broke the story. What I said was that this is one reason I won't go away, though they want us to. But definitely a good point to give Annie credit, although I wasn't intending at all to minimize what she did. Totally different topics.
@@theadriennerossshow Adrienne, I too disagree with Ben's take on independent journalists. Today, approximately 90% of all news media in the USA are owned by 6 massive corporations. This includes small local television and radio stations as well as larger media. The 6 corporations in turn overlap on who their major shareholders and advertisers are. We MUST have independent citizen journalists to provide an alternate to the corporate media! Every one of US must be discerning in who we listen to, and this is true regardless of whether it's corporate media or independents.
@@JE-ICI take your point, but just be clear that people sitting at home in front of a microphone and a camera creating internet content are not journalists. They are providing commentary and opinion on what journalists have reported and on what other people have tweeted. I've had letters to the editor published in my local newspaper. That doesn't make me a journalist.
@cjprince1 I agree that not everybody who claims to be a "journalist" is. By the way, I have a degree in journalism and I have rolled my eyes at people who claimed to be journalists in other fields (not basketball).
Adrienne, I know this is a big ask, but could you explain why the WNBA, after a promising start, fizzled? You were a fan, then you left. Why? Do a video. I agree that the alternative media has shone a spotlight on the WNBA. They need to clean up their act.
I was wondering if SS opps let the cat out of bag on the Storm when she was trying to tell us all how bad it was in Fevers locker room. Or was it all one big mistake. Just asking 😮
Its hard to watch when CC gets flagrantly mugged/fouled. Are coaches talking about some big (literally) player additions to the team? With good team spirit this could minimize some of the thuggery pointed at CC. Does it make sense?
I don't respect the whole subliminal messaging thing on social media, especially coming from Skylar at her big age. It just creates unnecessary drama and speculation. Either speak your full truth or stay quiet.
😂Christina side fulfilled her contract when she got into the playoffs a four-year contract she did it in one year so contract complete✌️ know what that means she gets everything now and the fever is eligible to get another coach that's ( that's the contract)❤😂
I believe Stephanie white 🎉know about this contract😢❤ and maybe she started plotting after that😂 but what do I know trying to be like y'all but I'm not success but I'm still trying😅

Coach, I pulled the W games from 2to 3 years a go. What a joke. Slow lazy play. The need to step up and start earning the money they want.
What caused the Houston Comets to grab my attention back in the day was that uptempo style. I loved it! I love that in the Fever's game, too!
Good eye Coach
They play like it's a part time job because it is for most of them.

How soon before you think this will be blamed on Caitlin Clark and us FEVER FANS now ?
I read where someone else said that, too, in a joking way.
At least Seattle got the team name right!
That's good!
Caitlin Clark has a speaking engagement with David Letterman in Dec, another golf tournament, another speaking engagement coming up too
Go, CC!
Oprah is gonna be there too.

Well just two words for the players of the W, GROW UP!
And get rid of all that unnecessary weave and eagle talons!
Blessed Evening All ❤❤

Oh, wow! I didn't know that. My little niece's name is Storm, too! 😆
Where's Sue Bird? seems like she likes to talk about everything expect for this.. lol
Well as one of the owners she's gonna stay mum until after the investigation and any fallout and possible litigation depending on those results.
@@PiscesMoon2You 💯!
It’s not going to make the headlines because Caitlin Clark has nothing to do with it.
Wonder if that is one of the reasons Stewie left.

I love soap operas. WNBA is better than General Hospital. Now I watch both. 😂
This made me laugh out loud!
That’s great 🤣🤣🤣
There used to be a daytime soap opera called "The Secret Storm".
Nowadays, it's "The Seattle Storm"!
I remember that video! Good points, and I agree. I just wasn't one of the ones that kept watching.
